As a single mommy I rarely feel pretty and young, so I'm super happy... my hair is beautiful and flawless, very very pleased with my highlights and hair cut, my hair is super light, soft and bright! Did my hair well once. Went back for touch up (different stylist) & was treated badly, hair requests completely ignored, now half my hair looks greenish yellow. They refused to do ANYTHING to fix it even if I was willing to pay! So much money & time wasted & my hair looks awful. Everytime I see my half-wrong hair in the mirror my heart drops. Traumatic experience overall & they don't take responsibility for mess ups. Giving 2 stars just because I had one good experience before it all went wrong. Going to have to dye my hair a colour I don't even want to cover up the mess they left. The worst.

I went here because it was rated "Best Salon in Cambridge by Reader's Digest". I went to get my roots highlighted. The lady who was working on my hair was running back and forth between 2 other clients. She kept asking 2 other people to help her with my hair. Very chaotic! Well, my entire roots were still visible after 4 hours of work. I came back for a "fix"and still she did not fix it! I went home and called the manager. I called the salon twice explaining my story to the "other people picking up the phone". The manager was always "too busy". Anyways, the manager never called back and I was left with a full head of brown roots over my blonde hair. I also paid $280!!!!!! Not sure for what... I know I got ripped off and it was my fault to speak up. Don't waste your time going here, they don't care about their clients. They are a small salon and always run out of hot water. There are staff running around everywhere and trying to rush your appointment. Plus it's so expensive!!! Worst part about it, if something goes wrong to your hair, then you are screwed because nobody cares. I should have not paid for my hair when I knew the job wasn't done correctly.

My mom and sister had gone there and said the girls were amazing so I decided to go. My hair was so damaged from the years of colouring it I was fed up and needed SOMETHING done. The girl who cut my hair was super friendly and saved a lot of length where I thought I'd have to cut it all off. Definitely will become a regular customer

I go here specifically for Iris and when she isn't available, i got for Kailey!! The entire staff is very sweet and welcoming, but the hair magic that these 2 girls execute, is ridiculous! I have no problem telling iris what I want and trusting her to make magic, and she ALWAYS delivers!!! I've been a client of Iris' fro 13 years now, and I've learned my lesson going elsewhere.

Wish I could give them 5 stars as I LOVED how my hair turned out. I went in with no plan, the hairstylist was super informative and I left looking so good! Unfortunately, my moms didn't turn out and it was hard to get the manager to call back about fixing it. (which never ended up happening) Seems like the more experienced staff know what they are doing.

I moved to Ottawa 4 years ago and have found Gravity or Tina to be totally worth the six hour drive back to Cambridge to get a stylish cut that makes me happy as well as unsurpassed friendliness,good tea and cookies. Hope to get a cut this week. Can't find anyone like Tina who gives me a cut and colour that makes me feel chic.

Found Gravity on Google. I've been dying blonde for 3+ years so I'm slightly picky with my stylists to rid the yellow/brassy tones with minimal damage. I decided to try someone new since my last stylist was getting lazy (partial foils when I'd request full) and wasn't achieving that nice 'ash' blonde. I inquired at Gravity and was given a same day apt (those are usually a gamble) but I got lucky! I was put with Abby, told she was good with blonde and they weren't lying! The apt was on time, covid precautions in place. She was informative about everything she was doing and used alot of techniques I'd expected but not gotten from other stylists. 100% will revisit. Highly recommended Abby to anyone looking for a new stylist and to others searching for someone great with blondes that won't ruin your hair!

Smoothing Treatment In early July, I decided to try the smoothing treatment offered by the salon, and expertly done by my stylist Rebecca. I have naturally curly hair that doesn't curl nicely, and produces alot of frizz, particularly around the face and at the back of my head. The treatment took Rebecca just over 3 hours to do, and I am so thankful to her for that dedicated time. But most importantly, I am so glad I did it! This is the first summer I didn't have to stress about my frizzy hair! Not only did the smoothing treatment take all of the frizz away, it loosened the curl so letting my hair air dry only produced wonderful, pretty waves with a couple of finger combs as it dried. And when I did want to blow dry it and use the straight iron, my drying and ironing time went from 45 minutes to only 15 minutes. The treatment is pure keratin in your hair, not full of chemicals, and it has left my normally coarse hair so soft, and silky. I can't recommend the smoothing treatment enough and will continue to have it done.

I love my new hair cut! Celina was great! Customer service is excellent! The only thing I have a hard time with is the styling chairs. They look nice (I understand the concept of a well thought out, coordinated look), however, they are not very comfortable from a posture perspective. I wanted to sit up straight but had to sit back to keep the hair from falling between my back and the chair.....and once I did that, I felt like I was slouching, and that just felt altogether unnatural and uncomfortable.

Went to get balayage. Paid 180 for only a tad lightening on the ends and a trim! Was told I need to come back again .. went back the next time and got a chunk of my ends 4 inches lightened again and paid another 180... then was told to come back again!!!
