A good place to go for haircut. The hairdresser knows what she is doing. It's pricey but considering the service and a very comfortable place, it's worth the price.

As a “retired” hair stylist, I have been seeing Julie at Crown Jewels for many years now,. I have always said she is best hairstylist I have encountered in my day as a stylist. I’ll never see anyone but her or any of the stylists from this salon. Very knowledgeable, kind and welcoming!!!

I could not be happier with Crown Jewels Hair Studio. Aleska transforms my kid’s hair and Julie does a fabulous job with my cut and colour. Julie also cuts my husband’s hair and he’s been loyal for seven years! This is a comfortable, tasteful, reasonable Studio that generously attends to the hair needs of my family. Booked an appointment, had to cancel due to being called into a conference work call and called them to rebook. That was fine but after the owner called me to inform me I would be charged something like 50% of the rebook cancellation on the next visit scheduled. Haven't had a chance to even use their services and they are penalizing for not giving them 36 hours notice to reschedule. I had 10 mins notice of the call in and called immediately, couldn't give them 36 hours when I didn't get that myself. So they should have told me of the charge I would have to pay extra on rebooking. Just cancelled both appointments and won't use this business. Way to drive off new customers and destroy goodwill.

I have seen Richard several times now for hair colour/cut. He is an amazing stylist who is obviously very passionate about his profession. Not only does he take the time to listen to what you want as far as a style, but he gives his opinions on what is best suited for you. He looks at complexion when colouring, and face shape when styling. He takes the time to show you how to achieve the look he gives you at the salon when you are doing your hair on a daily basis. I would highly recommend seeing Richard if you want the best hairdresser in Calgary

Julie and Colleen are the best! Julie is a hair colouring instructor and she knows so many different ammonia free hair colouring techniques. I have had many bad and crooked hair cuts at other salons, but my hair always looks fantastic after my Crown Jewels appointment. The location is easy to get to, the salon is beautiful and it never smells of any harsh chemicals!

This was my first visit to Crown Jewels Hair Studio with Richard for a cut and highlights. I must admit Richard had a lot to work with, my hair was very damaged and he took the extra time to use product to try and repair it. He made the right decisions on the colour and the amount of hair to cut. Richard is truly a pleasure and I look forward to my next visit. The salon is very nice - calm and relaxing and everyone is so pleasant.

Julie is my GIRL. I have lived in Calgary for 3 years and I started with getting my hair done by her apprentice. I always felt confident in the hands of anyone that works under her leadership. But when I finally got my hair cut by Julie... GAME CHANGER. As most women know - hair anxiety ain’t no joke. I did not experience any with Jules. She talks me through everything she’s doing and never shy’s away from my nagging questions. She’s a great conversationalist and has the CUTEST laugh. Her constant thirst for knowledge and eagerness to never stop being better... will keep your hairstyles up to date. We went blonde. We went red. We went dark... What possibly could be next! ???? I say it constantly - I drive literally across town, 35 minutes, to get my hair cut by Jules. Worth every kilometre. 100 out of 100 stars. Ps. Prices are EXTREMELY reasonable. Love Becky ❤️

I've been going to Crown Jewels Hair studio for almost a year now and have to give them a shout! Every dresser there is helpful and loves chatting up with you and they remember you every time you walk-in through their door. I go to Ashley every time and have to say she is a great hair dresser! She's a new graduate but knows her work really well. She knows what looks good on you, what will work better and isn't afraid to ask for advice or opinion which not many hair dresser would ever admit too! I drive all the way from SE of Calgary, just to go see her every few months and will continue to do so.

Colleen is AMAZING! I was lucky enough to find her for my wedding hair (which she nailed!), and now she has a client for life! I have been in Calgary for 6 yrs and had yet to find a stylist I loved, Colleen filled that void! Not only is the Salon so comfotable and stylish, everyone who I have met in passing there has been awesome! If I could add one more thing.... GET A SCALP TREATMENT!!
