The stylist I went to (Mel) was great and listened to my wants. Very clean interior and all staff had a clean workspace which shows they care about the space that they work in, "a place for everything and everything in its place" as they say. Staff were constantly sanitizing and making sure surfaces were clean. I'm very happy with my cut overall. Staff were all very friendly and my stylist was great to talk to.

After my first appointment went less than ideal the owner reached out to me and went out of their way to offer me a free follow up appointment to make sure everything was perfect. I am very happy with everything and Marcy was awesome.

Haley gave me a fresh new cut today! I have majorly curly hair & I was so grateful for the time and detail Haley put into my curly locks! Haley gave me bangs and a bob for the first time ever, fullfilling a dream of mine. I'd highly recommend working with Haley if you have curly hair & The Grove is such a wonderful salon!

Michael is my main man. I’d follow him to any salon! Michael’s been doing my hair for a number of years now and I’ve always loved the work he does, I change my mind frequently on how I want to colour or cut my hair and he always embraces my requests and finds a way to achieve the look I want while maintaining my hairs health and making it affordable for me. The salon is clean and their COVID-19 protocols make you feel safe and comfortable during your time there. Parking around the area is easy enough. There’s a lot of 2hr parking until 6pm and some side street non restricted parking.

Michael is the best! I found him recently through other reviewers and followed him to this salon. He did such a good job with history of how I treat and style my hair and listened to me. He was also very detailed and did an increasingly job with my haircut and bangs. He made sure I was comfortable and all in all I’ve found my hair stylist ????????‍♀️ in Vancouver :) he also taught me how to diffuse my hair in a step by step fashion ???? Also, they had good covid distancing and protocols. I felt comfortable.

Visited Grove for a haircut for myself and cut and colour for my teenaged daughter. My daughter had a very specific style and colour she had envisioned and had been begging for months to have her hair done that certain way. After calling around and settling with Grove Salon, my daughter was excited for her appointment. Well today I have one very very happy teen, totally beaming with satisfaction with her new hairstyle. Her hair was thick, long and a natural light brown and in much need of a tidy up. The result was excellent and our stylist, Sam, was really nice and listened to my daughters request and managed to pull off the exact style and colour she had dreamed up. We will definitely be visiting again for our next hair cuts/ colours etc. I was surprised how inexpensive the service was (we were at the Salon for three odd hours, and had a fair bit of work done on the both of us. Awesome service altogether!

I was in search of a salon that had great pricing, as I normally go to the schools, but due to Covid. They are closed. I searched for salons in my area and I came across The Grove Salon. I booked it right away because it was within walking distance and I can go on the wknd. New salon in the neighbourhood just a couple steps away from my fav bubble tea place, Chance Cafe! Hana was my stylist and she did a great job from start to finish. Cleaning and safetey procedures were in place and I had a great time at my appointment and will definitely come back. Welcome to the neighbourhood :)

A wonderful experience with Michael today who as usual did a great job on my hair. As my hair grows out it retains a good style and he is very thoughtful with colour, making sure it lasts and suits skin tone etcetera. The space at the Grove is so calm, it's modern and chic. I loved the chairs which were not only a cool design, they were very comfortable. The woodwork was stunning, the mirrors, the colour scheme all combined to make a relaxing space. Even the music was relaxing. (Cocteau twins for the win(!)) My check in and check out was a 5* guest experience. The service ambiance and talent here exceeds expectations. I was so impressed, can't wait to go back, don't delay book at The Grove!

The stylist was very friendly, she did a great job helping me pick my new style. She even pulled out her phone to show me examples of what she was thinking. All this while keeping in mind the kind of look I was going for. Originally the salon had to cancel my appointment but they were very friendly and helpful and set me up with a new appointment very quickly. I would definitely recommend them.

My search for a perfect stylist has finally come to and end! The salon is spotless and the every stylist takes time to sanitize and prepare their working area after each client. The location is also very good and free street parking is available. I found from Google reviews that Michael works well with short hair and after I got my haircut I could not be happier with his work. I did not have a style in mind and it sure was challenging since it was my first appointment with Michael and half of my face was covered with the mask, but he took time to learn about my hair routine, what I was looking for, and my comfortable hair length and gave me an amazing haircut. The conversation was also great and I enjoyed talking to him very much.

Best salon experience I've had. Annelise was amazing. I went in with a selection of things I liked and she helped me choose the one that would work best with my hair type. She was really helpful and friendly and also provided tips and tricks for styling my new hair! I'll definitely be going back!

Really good service and I feel safe going during covid as everyones wearing a mask ($4 surcharge btw), however, I don't think they are good at cutting Asian hair - layering, bangs, etc. I just want my hair shortened after not having a haircut for 6months, but the results were really just mediocre. Bangs not even with left side longer than the right side ???? oh well.....

Beautiful new salon with the most comfy salon chairs I have ever sat on. Hana was so friendly and made sure I was ok with what she was doing during my haircut. Hand sanitizer and masks are being used here. Lots of space between clients. Definitely recommend trying this salon out.

I have spent the last 4 years in Vancouver trying to find someone who can do a proper detailed cut on very thick hair and finally found Annelise. I've been to her 3 times now and will keep going to see her as long as we are both in Vancouver! She listens to my requests, can do technical cuts, and is a very talented hair stylist. If you are looking for a very precise, detailed cut or have thick hair that takes a long time to cut properly, look no further! The salon itself is lovely - clean, relaxing, and decorated really well. Highly recommend!

I had such a great experience at The Grove! The interior is beautiful. It’s modern and warm with so many nice plants. I felt really safe with their cleaning procedures and so much distance between the stylists. Michael was professional and such a joy to chat with. I love my haircut too. 5 stars!

I went for a haircut with Samantha this afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. She was attentive and made some good suggestions. She was easy to talk to and the head massage while she was shampooing my hair was great. She took her time and made sure everything was even. To top it off she put some curls in at the end. After waiting a year to get my hair cut I will definitely go back and see Samantha.

I booked with Haley for a detailed short cut. After seeing her style on Instagram I decided to go for an edgy cut as I knew she would nail it. I loved how kind and detailed she was. We went through how I wanted to colour it in the next service so her cut would be spot on. She talked be through her actions and at the end, she talked me through styling.
