She paid attention to detail and helped me choose a color that went well with my complexion and my natural hair color. The hair massage during shampoo was heavenly. The place had a peaceful vibe. I’ve been here several times for myself and my children’s hair after following Lucy from her previous salon. Everyone is very nice, and follows Covid protocols. The salon is very clean and there are cushions to rest your arms which I hadn’t experienced before. Lucy does a fantastic job and I’ve finally found someone who can deal with my aging Asian hair. I’ve had a root perm to add volume and blend with my past perm, colouring and a couple of cuts at this salon the past several months and my kids always look great. (One loves the head massage during the hair wash while the other, a post-haircut lollipop ????). I also like how the staff work as a team and help each other out. Reasonable prices too.

Amazing! Lucy and her fellow stylist did an awesome job. Before we started my balayage, cut and style, Lucy asked what I wanted and showed me some photos of previous work they've done. She advised me what's best for my type of hair until we agreed on the color. That extra time she took made me feel really valued and taken care of. She answered all my questions even while she was working on me. They also asked if I wanted any refreshments. What a service! Will definitely recommend this place. Also, the scalp massage they did was A-mazing I almost fell asleep! They followed Covid measures and made sure everything was clean and sanitized. Everyone wore a mask throughout the whole appointment, and sanitizers are available for customers.

Recently purchased a groupon package that was for bayalage with haircut and treatment. I loved my hair at the end, and I was under the impression it was permanent. I had it dyed auburn red; however, after 3-4 washes it went to blonde. I was so confused why this happened, as I have had bayalage done elsewhere for around the same price/some even cheaper and it was permanent. I contacted the salon and they told me it was done with toner after they bleached my hair. So I double checked the voucher, but there was NO indication anywhere that it was going to be done with toner. They did offer to fix it with more toner, but if I wanted it to be permanent i had to pay an extra 50 dollars. I did not bother with fixing it with toner as it would just wash out again. Nor did I wish to pay an extra 50, as I had already used up my initial budget for my hair.

Went to Mini at previous place she worked and followed her to her own salon. She is an excellent stylist - fast efficient and precise and very personable. It's fantastic she has her own place now! She is the only stylist I've found in Metro Vancouver that does an in-seat hair shampoo and scalp massage. She'll even give your eye brows a trim if you want it. :-) Highly recommended.

First time to visit here but had the best experience. I usually got my hair cut from other place but I decided to visit this new place for this time. The staff was super friendly and I could feel how experienced she is after talking with her for some opinions about hair colour options and the hair cut styles. She was very confidence what she was doing and made the fantastic result for me. I visited the optical store where I have been a customer there for 13years after. And the staff from the optical store said that this is the best hair style I have got past years. I am thinking about taking my kids here in the near future for their hair cut. Love this place!

I got full highlights and a hair cut using a Groupon deal ($60!) And loved it. My hair wasnt in great shape and Gina really listened to what I wanted and helped me to translate what that meant. She and Alice were amazing - provided excellent service, were upbeat and professional and did a great job. The salon itself has just been renovated and had nice touches like a difuser with lemon scent. Will definitely return!

I visited this hair salon for the first time recently after looking at other people’s reviews and I was not disappointed. Gina was super nice and professional. I love her confidence and knowledge on what would look good. One of my pet peeves is when a hair stylist would ask me how I want my hair cut and demand to see photos of what I mean and then attempt to copy it regardless if the end result would suit me or not. This was not the case here! Gina gave me options on what she thought would fit me and I am very happy with the colour and hair cut she did. I will definitely be back!

I have to say, it was an amazing experience. As you all know, when it comes to getting new hairstyle, it's all about who's gonna do this. It was really tough to decided where I should visit. And then I met Erica. I had a quite long and messy hair for a long time. I needed something new that would make me refresh. We discussed for a while before she begins. She suggested what color would be perfect on me. After about 3 hours, I got totally new gorgeous hairstyle which I love. More importantly she got me a little advise for hair-care. She is meticulous and did her job thoroughly. Including her, every staff there is nice and friendly. It took me to get here about 1 hour, though which was worth the time. I'd love to visit here again for sure. I am really glad that I met her.

In good faith, and after speaking with Gina the head stylist over the phone, I went in for a full head of blonde highlights and a trim. Gina understood exactly what I wanted but for some reason, she decided to colour my hair PURPLE!!! When that towel came off, I was traumatized! Who wouldn’t be?? I was horrified and beside myself thinking HAVE I FALLEN INTO THE TWILIGHT ZONE?!??? Gina’s explanation was, “Well..I thought you would like it...” Needless to say I made it clear that I did not! My poor hair then went from purple to green and six hours later I was free to leave this house of hair horrors.... Please heed my warning——Gina is not a trained stylist. No where in that salon (a thing I noticed when I sat there with PURPLE HAIR) is there a business license or a diploma of any kind to prove her qualifications visible. I did ask to see her license to cut hair and she showed me an Albertan piece of ID! I called Gina days after I got out of there saying you need to settle the brassy colour that resulted in my trying every YouTube trick to get rid of the green .. and she told me “No, you need to pay me”. This was my first visit to the salon. I was looking for a new place for cut and colour. I asked for my roots to be colour matched to the rest of my hair. I have light brown hair with some red tones. I came out with black roots. When I asked why the root colour was so different from the rest of my hair, they said it would fade to the same colour as the rest of my hair in a few days. I wasn’t born yesterday! Sadly my hair is now ruined! Of course the colour didn’t blend after a few days. Never go to this salon!

Never cared for having one stylist for my hair (men's short cut. meh) but Alice at Grace Hair changed my mind. Went to 3 different Korean hair salons that refused to listen to what I wanted and butchered my cuts (how do you even mess up men's short cuts). But Alice, she listened, understood and worked with me to get the cut I wanted. It's always a pleasure going to Grace Hair. It's clean, staff are nice, and provide coffee/tea for people who are waiting. They even bought strapless mask for customers so it doesn't get in the way of cuts. TLDR: they're good. try them out. I went in on a Groupon after attempting to colour my own hair with a store bought dye (Garnier Olia). Well as you can see, it turned out a disaster. I had Lucy as my stylist where she fixed it with a new shade. The colour is more of an ash brown. She also gave me the cutest bangs ever! I haven’t had bangs in forever so I was very pleased with my cut. Overall took a bit over 2 hours. I had many people compliment my cut and colour and even when I came home my family didn’t recognize me! Lucy was also really great at massaging my head while washing my hair (honestly my favourite part of going to a hair salon ????). Overall highly recommend the salon, friendly staff and I was the only person there so they had good covid protocols.
