The customer service is very poor. I had an appointment scheduled at the same time with my friend. Her hair stylist was on time, but I had to wait for 30 minutes and then I was offered another master for a higher price or at least another 20 minute wait. They gave various reasons for the delay blaming the other customer for being too late, then her hair structure. This was highly unprofessional and rude. Manager refused to accept responsibility and never apologized.

Disappointing and frustrating. What is the point of taking a photo of the haircut you'd like to get if they end up doing something completely different? Paid $70 to get the haircut the stylist wanted and not mine. I had been looking forward to this haircut since it's been 2 years since I cut my hair. Well, this sucks! Mind you as he was cutting it and I saw what it was starting to look I CLEARLY TOLD HIM "please make sure is longer in the front, I want it long. "I'm not finished", "I KNOW" he replied many times almost upset. This is crap! Don't got I that place unless you know Chinese, Japanese or whatever language they speak.

Air Plus was such a lovely experience. I was very worried about getting my hair cut during Covid times. Air had all the necessary things to make me feel safe. They took me in as a walk in even during Covid. I had Amber cut my hair. She did such an amazing job. She was kind and light with her hands, and very focused. She took into consideration my deep part but allowed some wiggle room if I want to change it up. She was very thoughtful. I walked out with the biggest smile on my face. Zack is my hairstylist. He perms hair professionally and patiently, listens to customers idea and gives their opinions. When perm hair, he seriously treat hair, every detail, the hair that perm comes out is distinct, and have stereo and fluffy feeling. I think he is passionate about the work and takes it seriously. But, if u want to do curly perm, ur hair will show nothing on the next day. Don't try it.

It is pricey but they truly have stylists experienced and skilled enough to follow your requests. They also go above and beyond with their work by doing things that will further ensure the result actually compliment your look proactively or by discussing with you first. They are also flexible and I have to repeat that they do as you ask even if they don't agree with it as some creatives struggle to be flexible or do things which do not suit their vision. Plus, if you've booked your appointment in advance that they take their time with the service rather than rushing to cram as many clients in as possible. This is obviously not possible if you're dropping in, but they accept when they can accommodate it.

I went to get a haircut this afternoon and staff were very helpful. Ariel, my hairstylist, is the best! She's very friendly and cares a lot about my opinions regarding the style I want for my hair. I wanted long layers for my hair and she made me be a part of the whole styling process which I loved. Before she cuts my hair she asked every time how long or short I want the cut is. She was very engaging the whole time and it was very comfortable to talk to her. I also loved that she asked if I wanted my hair styled straight or curled after my haircut (most hair stylists I've been too always go for straight which I hate). A big plus also for her for not over blow drying my hair. So I came out of the store very satisfied and loving my hair♡. Also, Ariel gives the BEST scalp massage! So relaxing :)) I absolutely recommend! I'll definitely ask for her next time. PS. She also notice that I had fairly fresh pierced ear so she was very careful around it as to not give me any pain.

It was my first time styling my hair for an outing at a hair salon. The hairdresser really took initiative - she noticed my hair was not holding a curl well because it's heavy so she went back over it and curled it extra to make sure it would look the way I wanted it by night time. And it did! Very impressed with how curly it stayed throughout the night. Also, I really like how it felt to have my hair washed. The price was around $50+ for styling (I used their lowest level, but they have tiers based on the hairdresser's years of experience). My friend's was $40+ because her hair is shorter.

Edit: Air Plus reached out and offered to make up for my previous haircut. They were incredibly professional and apologetic. I came in two months after my hair had grown out and had Zack cut my hair free of charge. Zack is an incredible stylist and went out of his way to offer styling tips and advice after my haircut was complete. Air Plus has exceptional customer service and I couldn't be happier with my haircut! There are definitely better ways to spend 50 dollars. My hair cut ended up choppy and uneven. The stylist told me to wait a month and a half for it to grow out once he was finished. I did not come for a hair cut to be told after that I would need it to grow out for a month and a half for it to not look as bad as it did.

The salon is nice, with entertaining options, cool music and staff. Ann is great, thoughtful, talented and organized. My hair is thin so it got tangled pretty bad but she was very kind on the process and I barely felt it. My ombré is neat with a great tone that matches my skin, I definitely recommend Ann to do coloring and cutting. I am coming back for sure.

Worst. Did a walk in with a master stylist, asked to just get a straight cut no layers. Tried to explain that I usually hot iron my hair so don't worry if it's a bit frizzy on the ends. He ended up thinning my hair way too much. Asked him to stop and try a hot iron, I swear he had no idea how to use it. I almost wanted to grab it and do it myself. Ended up stopping the session, paid and left.

Had a great experience with Effie. I walked into Air Plus out of impulse, it had rained and my hair was wet. I was only looking for a trim, but what I got was even better than I expected. Effie made really great suggestions, which I really liked. Most of the time when I go in I don’t know what I want. I usually ask the stylist what the best coarse of action is. She was very vocal, and explained why I should get it the way she suggested. Effie was very precise. She cut, and styled my hair exactly the way I wanted it. Definitely coming back to get my hair done by her, and highly recommend her services.

I got my hair done here for my highschool prom and I definitely would not recommend. The curls I asked for did not even look close to what I got. Worst of all, they started to fall out 30 minutes after they were done, which was disappointing for a hairstyle they knew needed to last all night. They also charged me like $75 for just getting my hair curled and leaving it down? No pins or anything. Terribly overpriced and badly styled. Kind of ruined my night, I had people ask me if I straightened my hair for prom when they saw my pictures. DONT COME HERE if you want to get you hair styled, not worth it. I honestly could’ve done a better job myself.

I wanted to get my hair colored. Since my friends they have been booking appoinments with a hairdressor called Zack and they highly recommend him, I called to book with him. He's a nice friendly guy and he gave me suggestions based on my hair condition, which is great and helpful! I am SO satisfied with the color and the haircut. He even taught me how to style it. I still love it so much even though it has been a few weeks. Not only my friends and colleagues love my hair but also strangers came to me and said my hair looks great when I was shopping! Thank you so much Zack! Highly recommended!!! btw The salon is comfy and they have comfy washing stations that I get to lay down on (not just sitting on) and enjoy the hair wash. They even give you snacks if you are doing hair coloring!! How cute and thoughtful is that! No wonder the salon is so busy especially on weekends.

It was my first time going to this salon, so I looked through the reviews and booked with Zack. He was all booked up for the day I called so I had to find another day and time to go to Burnaby. He’s a great guy, friendly, and he understood immediately when I told him what haircut I want. He’s very focused on cutting my hair and makes sure that every detail is taken care of. I also love their hair wash station which allows me to lie down instead of sitting when having the hair wash. He’s awesome already but he’s getting better and better for sure!*** I had been looking for a great hairdresser AND I found Zack here! I saw so many great reviews recommending Zack and thus I booked a color and haircut appointment with him. I didn’t know what I want at first so I was very indecisive. He friendly and patiently discussed everything with me and also professionally provided a lot of great ideas. This makes me feel extremely secured because I know he is really listening and is helping me to get what’s best for me. He’s very concentrated, focused and professional the whole time, and he definitely knows what he’s doing. He even taught me how to style my hair so that my hair can look beautiful at all time. I believe this place is overrated for the kind of knowledge their stylists have on haircuts for women. I’m so surprised that something as popular as layers wasn’t done right given how positive the reviews are. My hair is just a heavy blob after the cut, same as it was last year when I chopped it myself at home. After discussing the style and reviewing pictures, when Zack proceeded to cut my hair, he did not even show me how much he was going to cut off like other stylists till date have done, and let me sit in anxiety for so damn long until I couldn’t take it anymore and asked him to show me how short he went. He also did not use a heat protectant before styling with heat. I was so excited for this session and I’m now just as disappointed.

I know my hair is difficult to deal with, but Zack is very patient and wonderful and he did it every time! Every time I come see him he will make sure I walk out loving my hair❤️ I’m just so glad to have Zack to take care of my hair! really bad, I will never go to this hair salon anymore. They just fked up my hair which I had been growing for over a year. How could a hairdresser makes the hair of one side of your head longer than the other side and makes the undercut of one side way higher than the other side. I'm very disappointed. Now I have to cut all my hair off and grow it all over again. Seriously, if you care about your hair, don't go there. The worst haircut experience I have ever had.
