I have been going to Kylie for the last two years at Hair Xtacy. She literally has never disappointed me and I always leave beyond happy with my hair. I can tell her exactly what I want and she does it to a T! Not to mention - I go very 6 months or so and my hair always grows out amazing. He really took his time to make sure the cut was perfect and that I was completely satisfied with the look. Very accommodating as I went in very last minute. I won't be going anywhere else! When I began they were on Locust, then to Brant & Birch & now on New @Guelph Line (SE)corner. All stylist friendly and highly trained. I believe it is the Best Salon in Burlington. I will never stop going to Hair Xtacy!

(I was over an hour late they still took me) Competitive pricing! ($25 for a male cut, shampoo included) Overall great local business, you won't be disappointed, the stylists are truly talented

Horrible experience with Agusto, very quick to temper and condescending. As a new client did not acknowledge anything i was trying to tell him about how my hair responds to colour.He went on about how using a round brush is good for styling my hair??Really after colouring my hair for 20 yrs , i think i have a good idea a round brush is a good choice? I went in for a well needed cut, and try to correct a toner that was too dull from a previous colour, I said repeatedly my roots i like darker, as to show some dimension with my highlights, he said half way through colouring he matched up with highlights!! SERIOUSLY I knew as soon as he washed it it was too light, three washes later it is now completely faded and grey is now showing, thats after 2 days? He was also extremely rough and pulled my hair very hard on applying colour and toner! I told him as he was applying toner i was in pain as comb would not pull through hair , i asked him to use his hands as i know my hair it gets tangled quickly , he responded that is the way he does it. I repeatedly told him , its too painful please use your hands !My hair has now a ton of breakage. He was extremely rude when i asked him questions, and snappy if i questioned anything, and started to speak loud over my voice to try to be condescending and so people could hear him . He was trying to make out i was complaining, in fact i was only asking him questions as this was my first visit, and i know my hair..The cut took literally 5 mins, as i asked him not to layer too much , so he did the opposite and trimmed ,it there was no difference to the shape from when i walked in, he smiled and said that is it!! As if to say screw you ! I asked him to take some heaviness if the bottom, so he took his scissors and chopped off huge chunks in a hastily manner if he was very angry!!The worst was as he wanted to move my head to angle it, he used his index finger stuck it in my forehead and pushed really hard, i felt very uneasy with his body language, Could not wait to leave, and get out of that chair,only thing turned out correct was the toner colour of which he got advice half way through from a colour technician who was very good. I wish i saw her from the beginning. Very uncomfortable , horrible results, over priced, this guy should retire!!

I received a single color job and a hair cut at the end of May. My stylist was a director, Joe. Someone else applied my dye and rinsed the color. A month later, I feel like the color has faded quite a bit and there is a super very weird texture to my hair now. After I wash it, it always feels like there is still shampoo or chemical in my hair. I have been dying my hair for 15 years and I've never experienced this. When I got home, I realized that my bangs weren't even cut straight so I had to trim them myself. Maybe it was just me but considering it was my first experience there, and they were fully aware of this, they would have done a bit better and not treated me like I was just the next person on the schedule. I just moved to Burlington and this was my first and last experience at this Hair Xtacy. Looks like I'm on the hunt for another hair dresser!

Absolutely awful. Tried to book with my stylist I saw once and they told me she was sick bit in reality she quit and they lied to me! Owner is so rude and egotistical. Reception is a nightmare I overpaid for a choppy haircut and I would never recommend this place to anyone Worst salon In Burlington!

I had an AWFUL experience here! I went into the express location in the Freshco plaza at Walkers line/Upper Middle. I had long hair and wanted a choppy/layered bob cut. The hair stylist said she didn't feel comfortable doing that hair cut and called over a reinforcement, the "master stylist" AKA elderly man with a shaky hand! He started chopping away at my long hair and right away I knew he himself didn't know how to cut that style. He was cutting it how he thought it should look not how I wanted it to look. As he was cutting it I stated that the cut he was doing looked nothing like the picture. He then said "oh, we don't cut hair like that here". Uh what!? Why are you cutting my hair then!? At least the first stylist had the sense not to attempt the hair cut because she didn't feel comfortable but what's with this guy!? It looked terrible!! Thank goodness for hats!! Never again!
