Great experience every time I go in there. They have very helpful staff with great listening skills. They always make sure they understand completely what it is you're looking for. It's amazing to see that they can offer such fantastic service at such reasonable prices. I wish every salon was run like this. They always run so efficiently and on schedule which is important to me and they do it with such Grace which makes you feel like you're not being rushed out the door. I'm a first time customer and needless to say, I'm very satisfied. My hair is extremely thick, and most hair stylists get super impatient and rushes. It takes about 30 minutes just to blow dry my hair.. But the junior stylist I saw was super patient and thorough, will be back again.

So, I went in with horrendous hair. My hair was a disaster and I needed it fixed. Venicia, the hairdresser told me what she could do to fix it, and she was absolutely amazing! She did an amazing job and I loved the hair color. Apart from the great fix, she was such a friendly person and anybody would love to get their hair done by her. All the other staff were very very nice, and very accommodating. I got the appointment last minute and they did their very best to fit me in. Over all, a great experience! I will back to them whenever I need my hair done. I would recommend this place to everybody!

I was expecting a higher end salon. I wanted a stylist anyone can cut hair .but I wanted a style, left in tears. Everyone dressed so unprofessional. Very disappointed . Unfortunately won't go back.

I have been going to Define Hair Design for three years twice a week for blow outs. I also have my colour, hilights and special events styling (curls) done there as well. Erin has been my primary stylist for that time. She is excellent at her craft. I have consistently been pleased with her service, blow outs and special events styling. When I travel and have my hair done, I can sincerely say that I have never found anyone as good as Erin. She could be a top stylist in a high end salon in Toronto if she wanted. We are very fortunate to have her in Burlington! When she is not available, I go to see Jacalyn who is excellent as well! The salon has a great vibe of friendliness and professionalism. I would highly recommend Erin and the Define Hair Design Salon!

I have been going to Define Hair at Walker's Line since it opened and Erin has always been my stylist. Whenever I leave the salon, someone always comments on my hair or asks me where I get it done. This is a testament to Erin's skills. She has taken me from a brunette to a blond and now a strawberry blond and I have loved every look. I can honestly say, all of my experiences have been positive...and if I have ever had an issue, Erin has resolved it. Just wanted to say I called to make my quarterly hair appointment with the best person that I have ever had in regards to color knowledge, cutting and styling, and I was told she is no longer employees there. Venicia was the best and fairest in that entire salon. I definitely will not be returning if she is not there and hopefully I can find her at whatever salon that is lucky enough to get her.

Can I just say how amazing Venicia is? I have come to this salon twice, both with bad hair issues (first with a haircut and second for a hair colour issue). Both times Venicia has surpassed my expectations. The first time was when I wanted to get a long bob done. I had gone to a salon at a mall to get it done and it looked like the back of my hair was eaten by rats; it was choppy and uneven. I was recommended to go to Define Hair Design and specifically to Venicia to get it fixed. Needless to say, she did such an amazing job! I got compliments all the time, which of course I could only redirect to her talent and skill. This was back in 2017. The second time was more recently when I wanted to attempt a balayage. I went to a salon with really good reviews but the individual who did my hair did a very poor job. It wasn't a balayage at all, just highlights and he called it an ombre. I immediately called up Venicia at Define Hair who took me the next day to get it fixed. She did such a wonderful job, her technique was excellent. Everyone complimented my hair again, numerous times. The colour was a little lighter than I had desired, so I went back within a few days to get the colour darker and she really delivered exactly what I wanted. I am overly thankful for her dedication, honesty and talent. The salon staff were very supportive and helpful. I recommended my mother to go here as well for a dye and again Venicia did a great job! I highly recommend her! :) Thank you staff too for your knowledge and help! I walked out with a smile on my face :)

After apt mid July asking for curly hair specialist I had a cut and colour done. Specifically asking for curly hair specialist and a cleanup (too long because of covid) of my graduated bob. Everything looked fine until the finishing touches! Stylist then used thinning sheers and went to town! Leaving me with 4-5” shorter….uneven and “no longer a bob”. In shock I paid (198.00 + a tip) and left. I went back an hour later. I was refunded all my money and they tried to reshape the cut but the damage was done! It’s November and I’m still trying to let it grow back to get back to that graduated bob. Thank you for trying to fix it & refund but this should never have happened. 3 1/2 months later, this is still having a negative effect. I never go back if I’m not happy with a cut and still tip, however I am glad I was pushed by family to go back and say something. I asked for the curly hair specialist but got a level one novice! This should not have happened. I will not go back even though they made more apts for “the owner” to fix the problem. I was never called back about the issue. It was clear how bad the cut was. Trust has been lost and I am very saddened by the experience, the mirror is a constant reminder until it grows back enough to get back to what I loved! This is the first review I have written and hopefully the last!

I took my daughter to get her hair done for her birthday and she is absolutely in love with her hair. We had a very bad experience at a previous salon but Karina from this salon went above and beyond to make sure she made my girls hair dreams come true. Karina was very open and honest about how much it would cost and about the at home maintenance as well. I love that she not only spoke with my daughter about this but included me in the conversation as well. Karina payed close attention to detail and was very meticulous when it came to highlighting and cutting my daughters hair. Highly recommend this stylist she is very educated and such a talent.

I always have a great experience visiting Define Hair Design. At every other salon I have visited prior, I was usually only comfortable seeing one person. At Define Hair design, ALL staff are fantastic and I am comfortable getting my hair cut and coloured by anyone there. Everyone is friendly and professional, they have good pricing and product selection and are very clean & organized. I have always been seen right away. With Covid, I feel very safe as they have excellent health and safety protocols in place. Lindsay is professional, incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and dedicated. I have been to this location twice now and recieved mediocre service. The master stylist Erin did not take the time in either experience to fully do my hair and rushed me both times. For a stylist charging just over 60 dollars I would expect a much higher level of cutting and styling. She had me in and out within 30 minutes, while the young girl next to me was there before me and still getting her hair curled as I was leaving. I mentioned that it was a special occasion and my hair has a hard time holding curls and she assured me the curls would stay, it is barely 4 hours later and my hair is straight and barely even looks as if it had been cut. Extremely disappointing experience and a complete waste of money i do not recommend this stylist to anyone!
