Azi at Westview Hair Salon cut my hair today. Azi did an excellent job. Azi used a large variety of cutting tools, such as trimmers, scissors, brushes, combs, a blow dryer and mirrors. Azi started on time and took the time to carefully create a "fade." Azi expertly and professionally used the trimmers. It would have been nice to see more work done with the scissors, which requires skill. Westview Hair Design is a hidden gem. If you are able to FIND the salon "upstairs" at Westview strip mall, you certainly are somewhat intelligent!

One of the worst hair cuts I've ever had. I would've had a better hair cut using a lawn mower. Products were constantly pushed on me because I have thin hair. I was not listened to and when I said I had an allergy to something, she went ahead and still used what I was allergic too. On top of this, the price that they post, is not what they charge. I was charge twice as much as what they were advertising. If you want to go to someone who doesn't listen to you, then this is the place for you.

Great haircut for a really good price; from a male with shoulder length kind of frizzy wavy hair, Azi did an amazing job. I read a review from a man who seemed to have similar hair and I was not disappointed. Awesome work

I came across this salon after researching places in North Vancouver for a few months. I was looking for a new salon after having the same hairdresser for years and wanting a change. I am a 49 year old guy with hair from the 80"s down to my shoulders. I am so glad that I found Azi at Westview Hair Salon. She is very welcoming and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in. she is great with men's hair she is amazing, incredibly personable and passionate about her work. She won't lead you on about what she can do with your hair, she is honest and is always looking out for the best interest of her clients. She brought my hair back to life it feels like I am 25 again and I am forever thankful to her for that.

I got my hair highlighted and cut today with Azi for the 1st time and wanted to write a quick review to express my complete satisfaction with the quality of her colour and cut. I needed to change hair stylists as mine had refused to vaccinate. Azi assured me that not only was she fully vaccinated but that covid protocols are insisted upon and that her clients need to be vaccinated too. Her shop is small but there are only her and her sister there. It was bright and very clean, and plenty of free, convenient parking at Westview. I can honestly say I've never been as satisfied with a first time colour/cut as I was today. Azi showed a high level of competency and professionalism.

The lady cutting my hair was a wonderful person. Unfortunately the haircut was not. Paid around 24 without tax. I noticed she didn't really blow dry the left side of my head when she was cutting it. Once I got home and had it dried, turns out she left an extra clump of hair sticking out to the side (picture gives you an idea but it's even worse in person). I'm sure she did not mean to do this, I'm just really disappointed with the service. Please do better for future customers. I will not be returning to this salon anymore.

My wife found this salon last year and I am using it myself. She is a brunette with long straight hair who found herself fighting the "greys" every month. Before she started with Azi, she had been getting her hair coloured cheaply and it showed with a colour that was way too dark for her age and complexion. Azi assessed her current hair condition and offered a strategy that has worked for her. She is always direct and honest with my wife, which I really appreciate. She has made wife look young again which she always is in my eyes. She listens to what we want (which was for wife to remain a brunette for as long as possible) and always offers great advice. THANK YOU Much! 10 out of 10 5 stars.
