I do my haircut here for years now and I am fully satisfied. Tim also hired one lady that will thread your eyebrows to perfection. Kudos and recommendations!

People rave about "Tim" and there is usually a lineup to have him cut your hair. Was nothing special, and he will let his "regulars" cut in line even if you have been waiting.

They generally have short wait times, and consistently cut my hair how I like it. For a cut and a wash, it only costs 16.50. One thing to note is that it is cash or debit only, though.

Today was my second visit to The Scissors, when I went there first time I was fearing if I won’t get the right haircut. As In india I was going for my haircut to only one person from last 18 years. When I reached there everyone was busy and Ming get free before others so he asked me what I want. I described him and he tried his best and he gave me the same haircut what I was getting in india. Today was my second visit to them and I am so happy with the cut . So I must say if you wanna haircut the way you want, go to Scissors. And it’s not expensive I got my cut in 20 dollars ???? and at the end he styled it with wax too. He today told me they charge less from seniors now I don’t think you have any excuses to not going there.

Amazing! I have waist length hair and got fine layers done.Nancy did a wonderful job.She spent about 45 minutes on my hair.I was so depressed with post-partum hair loss and now I am so delighted with the outcome.I showed her a few pictures and she followed it exactly.She didn’t waste even an inch of my hair. Honestly Tim used to be great but since the place is popular and cheaply priced, he doesn’t give the same care toward each and every haircut anymore. Been going there for years and I felt rushed off almost every time(past little while). The lady is super nice and sweet but give awful cuts.

Worst haircut I've ever received. She asked me nothing about how I wear it before she started cutting. I stopped her to tell her what I wanted and she said "I'm not finished" She looked like she was following my direction and by the time I figured out she had no clue what she was doing, it was too late. I understand a salon desnt specialize in men's hair but if you can't do it at all, DONT ADVERTISE THAT YOU CAN. Don't get your haircut here. They dont know what they're doing.

owner seems a bit careless and if you focus closely you can tell his attention to detail is not the same as it used to be. All the regulars want the owner to cut their hair and his employees often have nobody to cut while 5 others are waiting just for the owner. Also he asked a waiting customer to pay beforehand (with cash) so he could provide change to a customer paying. Any store should have proper change.

It is a great place to get hair cut, I like both Tim and Nancy, they are pro in what they do best, hair cut and colouring/highlighting. I've been going to the Scissors for the past 14 years and I am satisfied with the service provided, and the pricing is good.

You will definitely get a haircut on the cheap here, then wonder when a photo of your haircut will appear on /r/fuckmyshitup. They knock your haircut out in 10-15 minutes but then you get home and realize they shaved the back/top of your head 3" higher than you've ever seen done. On top of that, they skin shaved below my sideburns for about 2"... I had a beard which I had to shave off because of the 2" gap between my sideburns and my beard after they were done with me. All of the above was my second haircut here. The first was only just slightly better.

My favorite place for a great hair cut. I've known the owner for over a decade and have been getting hair cuts from him since I was only a few years old. Even though the location has changed over the years the quality of the haircut hasn't. Would recommend this place over any in the lower mainland!

I'm always wary of which place I choose to get a good, price-efficient haircut that matches my style. The Scissors does a great job at checking off all of my personal requirements. The hairdresser that my partner and I go to all the time is Tim. He is fantastic as he knows how to trim and style your hair. And another great piece about Tim is that he is great with customers. I go about once every month or month and a half, and Tim remembers my preferences without needing me to say so much. I always leave happy and I always look forward to getting a fresh trim from Tim at the Scissors.

They're good at giving you your haircut. I often show them what I want on my phone since I tend to forget the numbers and such and they're good at copying at whatever I show them. They also give you an option to wash your hair, which is nice.

This place is an absolute joke. I called to see how much a men’s cut is and the lady advised 15.50 and then at the end of a horrible I mean horrible haircut and service I get charged 20 because I asked for a fade like seriously ??? I had to ask the women cutting my hair 5 times to fix it as she had no idea what she was doing!!!!! She then proceeded to argue with me as I’m telling her to look at my head and tell me how she even thinks the fade is even, she could not understand what I was trying too explain! At this point my haircut was just atrocious so I asked someone else to fix it for the 6th time! I sat there for about 12 minutes while waiting and feeling simply embarrassed. When the next women cut my hair she butchered it even more and now I’m left with a UNEVEN FADE and extremely disappointed. They then still ask me to pay 20 bucks! I highly recommend not going here!
