I am so happy to say I have found my go to Barber !! I was referred to Anthony (the owner) by a close friend and I haven't looked back since. The first time there I immediately felt welcomed by him and his staff. One year later nothing has changed. The space has been tastefully renovated (lighting, countertops, foliage, crystal rocks, water feature) which all contribute to the cool light hearted vibe you get from this place. The cut itself is nothing short of top notch quality. I appreciate Anthony's consistent attention to detail, hair product suggestions, and the overall experience I receive every single time .. every 2 weeks (; Haha

Amazing people! Experts in their field! Always there for you to hear your idea and make it happen or create new ones you did not know you had. I had various cuts and colors and ever since I became a client, I got the proper help and was given best hair care advise. I was always happy with my hair after a visit and continue to recommend my family and friends who are also very satisfied. Just in recent months I have been diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo chemotherapy. Anthony, who always looked after me, offered to do a fundraiser for me at the salon. The team at Syren is amazing. I went in with probably a good 4 months of growth in my bleach out. They managed to blend it with baby lights and perfected a really beautiful natural looking blonde colour. My hair felt healthier coming out of the salon. Giulia has been my stylist for a few years now and I can’t say enough about how much I love, how she can transform blondes! The upkeep for blondes can be time consuming and she always takes my brassy blonde and transforms it into a very bright, cool blonde! I have had nothing but great experiences here. If you are looking for an amazing fade, I highly suggest seeing Anthony. He just so happens to be the owner and does, in my opinion, the best fade in the city. He takes his time and has amazing attention to detail. The salon itself is clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Overall, Syren is a really awesome salon. I don't like changing hairstylists, it makes me anxious and I am very awkward meeting new people. I also can't see a thing without my glasses on so, to me, it's a big leap of trust and faith for anyone new I do go see for the first time. I truly appreciate it when a stylist can make me feel comfortable. My first appointment was with Jenna a couple of days ago and she was really friendly and easy to talk to. Although it was my first time meeting her, Jenna's friendly demeanor made me comfortable enough to not want to walk out mid haircut due to me being anxious. The thing that did give me anxiety was trying not to sing along with the music she had playing but that's more of a me problem. She's an expert at her craft and her experience shows with her swift and gentle manoeuvres and her work speaks for itself at the end. I was recommended to see Jenna, I live out in Abbotsford, and it was worth the drive.

The team at Syren are a life saver! I went in after getting a horrific hair cut in Toronto that left my hair in disarray. The stylist who helped me took time to throughly assess the aftermath of my previous cut, asked me questions about how I wanted it to grow out and what my end goal was. They then walked me through step by step what they were going to do to my hair before starting to ensure that we were aligned. They also used and recommended great hair products, without being pushy, unlike some sloppy upsells at other salons. They were very calming and professional. Further, the conversation was enjoyable; there is nothing worse than being stuck in a chair in silence for 45 minutes. I thought it would take a few trips to get my hair back in order, but I left the shop very happy. I will definitely be returning and would recommend Syren to anybody.

While in Burnaby visiting my daughter, I had a great experience at Syren. My colorist was Natalie, and she had her hands full with my Covid hair. She is extremely professional and precise with her foils and created my conversion to silver hair.(I have alot of hair) The entire staff was friendly, and worked as a team. I was very comfortable and am very happy with the results. Would highly recommend.

My stylist Giulia is amazing- she was attentive to my wants but also great at managing expectations and creating a hair plan that was best suited to my hair to maintain its health. See what we agreed on and the result, which according to Julia (lady who did my hair) is not black. I went outside to see my hair in sunlight, and then I came back to complain again but she did not even let me in. The owner was nice, asked me to come back and he will wash the hair with shampoo so the color could fade. But there was no point to go there again because my hair cannot look like as I shown in picture and also after bad experience I was afraid to go there again. Anyway, I don’t recommend anybody to let Julia touch their hair.
