Discovered this place recently when I was at the gym across the street, Linda’s salon is spacious, beautiful, clean and modern. She colored my hair and it was awesome! Love the color and the trim, amazing price! So good I felt bad she didn’t charge more for what she did so thank you so much! Definitely coming back again real soon!!

Went in for a quick blow out a few weeks ago and fell in love with the salon and atmosphere. Linda was so kind and was able to style my hair beautifully. My experience was so outstanding that I returned for a second visit where I got my hair cut, treated and coloured. Despite the fact that I called in the same day to book my appointment, she assured me she would have time to see me. Linda was very meticulous and is incredibly talented. For many years, I hesitated to get bangs because most of the hairstylists would tell me it would not stay (or look good on me). But with Linda, the owner, she did a great job cutting my hair on an inverted bob with bangs!!! I really loved it! Spotlight would definitely my go-to salon now and it is very close to my work. Price is more affordable than other salons that I know. Definitely worth it for the excellent customer service and professional haircut that you will receive.

It was a delight to meet Linda and a very wise choice to give my hair in her magical hands. I was looking for a fresh look for the summer and also something easy to maintain and I got the perfect haircut with perfect color. I was a little apprehensive about the color so Linda was very careful to not go overboard, but she also convinced me to experiment next time. Haha! Overall a great hairdresser, a very warm and welcoming salon and absolutely loveable end results.

Every time I visit this place, I am happy. Linda is easy to communicate with, and is open to cut and style your hair exactly the way you want it to be. I used to live in downtown Vancouver, so I had so many options there, but ever since I moved to New Westminster, I had no idea where to go. My wife introduced me to Spotlight, and I have been going there ever since. The price is very reasonable, and the service is great. I always feel welcome and not rushed here. Recently, I made the mistake of going to another place because Spotlight wasn't open yet at the time due to all the shutdowns in the past few months, but the other place just ruined my hair. I was really unhappy because knew I made a mistake going somewhere else, and I should have waited to make an appointment at Spotlight. I decided to see if I could get my haircut fixed and I made an appointment. Linda was able to fix everything and actually gave me a proper haircut exactly the way I wanted in the first place. I was very relieved. Next time, I will just wait until I can get an appointment here at Spotlight. It's not worth the risk going somewhere else. The fact that Linda will take the time and effort to make sure you're happy with the haircut is the reason you should come here.

I used to go to a different nearby salon, but I decided to give Spotlight a try since I live in the same building. Linda is very professional and friendly! She did a great job on my hair so my husband decided to give it a shot. He tried different barbershops before but couldn’t seem to find one who could do his desired haircut. After going to Spotlight, my husband couldn’t compliment Linda enough! This is now our new go-to salon. Plus the prices are reasonable!

The haircut was great. However, I coloured my hair with them and wanted a dirty brown and ended up getting a dark red. And still paid full price for it....! I strongly don’t recommend this place. If someone does not know what they are doing when it comes to hair colouring (which is something sensitive), they should not provide the service. And if they make a mistake, they should not charge.
