Not only is she a very skilled and proficient stylist, she is friendly and genuinely kind. My cuts and colours are exactly what I ask for. I had my hair done recently and it came out nothing like we’d agreed. The stylist was rushed and did 4 other peoples hair while processing mine. My hair got way over bleached and I don’t even think she used a toner because it was still banana yellow when I left. I my hair is fried and totally one dimensional, not balayage at all - though I paid balayage prices ($350 + tip). It’s really unfortunate because I had been before and liked what I’d gotten but just wanted a minor change in my next fill. What I got was a disaster that I now need to pay to fix somewhere else.

I am so glad my former stylist stopped making house-calls because otherwise, I never would have met Faith. What a wonderful woman! Faith is very attentive, honest, straightforward and no nonsense in her work and communication with clients. She has always been kind while still offering constructive feedback that is helpful to making a decision regarding your cut and color. She is incredibly patient and goes above and beyond to ensure her client is happy. It is obvious she enjoys both working with people and her work. Always a pleasure to see her :) I’ve been at Mon Amie a few times and have never left unhappy with my hair or the quality of service. With Faith I know I am in good hands and would recommend her to everyone. Excellent! Look for Faith! I just had my highlights on my hair and also Keratin Complex application. The volume of my hair is maintained and even enhanced by Faith's styling and cut. not sure why this place has such good reviews, but my hair was completely butchered today, no dividing sections, just free handed and an uneven mess. She was so unsure of what she was doing and asked ME how to cut it, if you know you cant do something just refuse the service. Ive been crying all day theres nothing I can do to salvage the chunks of hair i left with.

My mom and I have been going here for about a year or so, and we have never left unsatisfied. We always go to Shatha, she's so nice and definitely knows her stuff. I got my former, dinghy ombre(which really damaged my hair) redone by Shatha and she brought my hair back to life. I was highly recommended this place by someone but was I disappointed! Shatha has such rough hands and pulled on my hair that it seemed ludicrous. It was obvious she was rushing me out even though my appointment was early in the day, and there was no one after me. I paid $70 for a haircut and conditioner. Will NEVER ever set foot there again!!!!

Fitted in at short notice for a haircut which I appreciated but my experience will tell you that perhaps they should not have. Lots of people, all crammed together, at least masks. Quickly taken to hairwash station and then hair insulted by person who roughly washed hair, clearly in a rush to go home. Put in chair, left there. Next person came and blow dried and styled hair, again roughly, yanking and hitting top of head with straighteners. Left me there. Stylist from customer next to me came and trimmed a bit. Done. Wow, no care, no interaction. I guess because I'm not a regular. Didn't really do anything to hair so price paid was appropriate. Will not be returning, or recommending.
