I hurt my hand and needed a hair wash and dry since I couldn't do it myself, price was absolutely reasonable compared to other salons for just a hair wash and dry (no style). Ranges from $12-$15 depending on hair length and was happy with the service, will definitely come back!

I've had expensive haircuts, lawnmower looking barber shop trims and I've had cheap haircuts. This place is my first choice. I don't like talking when I'm getting my haircut. Stems from childhood or something. I sit down, they cut it and it's done. Used to live in Marpole, now I drive to get here. Has always been a great looking haircut.

I had been going there for the last 15 years. The place is clean and the hair dressers are friendly. Most of the customers there are local. Now it isn't a fancy place. They do simple haircut there, nothing really fancy. I'm a man and my hairdresser Ken has been with me for 15 years. I can't say much about the ladies' styling but for men they are really good. There are 4-5 hairdressing places around Marpole but they are pretty busy.

My hubby got his hair cut here and had to go somewhere else to fix it! Do not go here if you have anything other than straight hair- they have no clue how to cut curly hair. It was so uneven and awful.

This happened two years ago but I still cannot forget it so decided to write a review. I went there for a haircut and took a seat. There were three barbers working. After I arrived two other customers came (apparently friends of the barbers) and they were served before me. It was quite insulting and I have not experienced anything similar to it before or since. I just left.

You get what you paid.First time there and last. I had a hair cut in layers. My hair was cut almost dry. Not measuring both sides to make sure they were equal...shame on me for notcomplaining. Oh my gosh it was terrible. Other places charge around 50 dollars, so wwhen I walked-in I knew that it could be bad..charged me 21 dollars for 10 min harcut...I deeply regret it because I have to pay another hairdresser to fix it. I do NOT recommended at all, not even for free!!!l. I am quite annoyed.

My friend just got her hair done here and I've honestly never seen a worse cut. She asked before she sat down if she could have an inch off the ends and her layers refreshed. When she sat down the girl took ~half an inch off the bottom and refused to do her layers. They chargered her full price to not get her hair done as requested.

Ken is an amazing hair stylist. He could easily charge $50+ at other fancy hair salons but he's so humble and kind he gives the same high quality for less than $20 including tips. He's been cutting my hair for over 15 years and I even trusted him for my wedding hair cut which he did an amazing job as he does every time.

Drop ins are always welcome, but an appointment is recommended if you're going on the weekend or don't have time to wait. It's a busy little shop with very regular clientele.
