Even though i was just the guy patiently waiting in the car for her return, her hair and huge smile on her face told me she had a great experience. The stylist listened to what she was looking to get done and delivered 100%. Covid safe and super friendly and skilled hair stylists will definitely be back

Poor experience!! I added my review yesterday in response to a sub standard apology by these people and it seems it was deleted. On Saturday, I went to get some hair products for my fiance and the owner, Melissa, rudely told me that the store was closed. They never even opened the door for me. When I politely asked for information about the hair products they continued to ignore me and now they are telling me that I reminded them of the people from downtown Brantford. Please avoid these people!!

Went in with a picture of the grey ombre that I wanted, after sitting through all that bleaching it didn't go grey at all. She's blow drying it pretending it looks great. I finally spoke up and told her all she did was give me darker roots and took the golden iut of the blonde hair I already had. She called the owner over who put everything on me and the stylist. When I told her I can't go home with a green tinge to my hair she told me she would grab the book and go over my options. Either bleach it again (which I couldn't possibly sit through they already burnt my scalp) or put a different colour on it to blend it and make it look more natural. I told her to do whatever was the fastest because I was so upset I just wanted to get out of there. 2 days later, everything is washed out and the only difference is I have darker roots. I PAID $135 FOR BASICALLY DARKER ROOTS...I should have refused to pay, giving me a free hair product doesn't cut it when you are paying that kinda money. I will never return and recommend if you're trying to achieve something different than what you have (like blonde to grey) you don't go there. I feel so ripped off, they didn't care, free product and 10% off my already $130 dye job.I wish I could attach pictures so you could see what I asked for, and what I got. I'm just now after a week not having to constantly pick pieces of my scalp out of my hair. Everyone I know can't believe I paid for this...I have an appointment for someone to fix this and even they said they would never charge a customer for this kinda screw up. After looking around I did find a way of posting the picture I wanted vs what I got!

I had a terrible experience with these people Im a guy who simply went to get some hair thinning products for my girlfriend (nioxin, aveda etc.) I knocked on the door and the woman(Melissa) rudely tells me they are closed. When I asked if I could ask a question, they began ignoring me until I left. Terrible service!!

I absolutely adore this salon, I am 110% satisfied every time I walk out of those doors. I have moved 2 hrs away from the area and I make it a priority to come here. The salon itself is gorgeous, all the women are super friendly, her products are to die for (EVERYONE needs a Wet Brush in their lives, you're welcome!) and Melissa, the owner, is an absolute gem. I could go on and on, but alas I shall stop. Could not recommend this place more!

I had the most amazing experience at Obsessions in March with Stephanie. I have very long, poker straight hair and wanted a bit of a change. Stephanie listened to what I wanted, my concerns and she gave me her opinions. I couldn't be happier with the spiral perm she did for me. She even touched up 2 areas that didn't take the first time. She was just incredible!! I have since recommended this Salon so many times! The staff are amazingly warm and friendly,t salon is gorgeous and the prices very reasonable. You won't be sorry if you choose Obsessions!!!

I am new resident to the Brantford area and I need a new place to cut my hair after reading the reviews I decided to go with this salon. I went on line contacted them via email. They got back to me 2 days later. I understand that with Covid 19 there was a delay I waited 3 weeks for my appt and less than 24 before the appt, I rec'd a call and an email to advise that my appt would be cancelled due to a family emergency on the hairdressers part, I wrote an email back requesting when could i have another appt and if i could get a discount. I never got a response back and honestly I was surprised. I feel if they don't want my business and they showed very poor return on a customers response shows they don't need my service and my clients that I could bring to their salon. NOT PROFESSIONAL and if you read this do not reach out to me as lack of response on your part is very poor customer service.

I have been twice. Once for a cut and once for a colour. Melissa the owner is amazing and is friendly so is all the staff. They have trainers come in from Paul Mitchell to do classes frequently. To always keep up with new products and trends which is awesome and they make sure the customers are comfortable and happy. I will be going back. Very happy. The salon is very clean also.

Went last Friday for the first time, brought in a picture for reference. Wanted a nice soft ombre from light brown to blonde. Well, the ombre is very poorly blended. She brought the blonde almost all the way up to my roots, so it looks like I have horrible roots. The girl seemed to be in a rush. I asked for an unkept layered look in the front and didn't get that either. She spent less than 5 minutes cutting my hair and then walked off and had someone else blow dry. Won't be going back. Have to find someone else to fix my crappy ombre soon.

I had a bit of a hair catastrophe with box dye from the drugstore and called the salon in the morning and was able to book an appointment an hour later. I asked them to do anything they could to save my hair and it turned out beautifully. Kaitlin was my stylist and I will definitely ask for her next time.
