I called in Saturday morning and desperately needed a haircut. Jason quickly accommodated me and gave me the best haircut that I've ever gotten. Not only was the price fair, but Jason took his time with my haircut even after the salon closed at 4pm. I originally wanted a short haircut with many layers, but Jason told me that only having layers that frame my face would look better. And boy was he right!!!! The amount of love and care that Jason put into my haircut experience is something that I will never forget. You really walk out of the salon like a brand new person!!! I can't even count how many compliments I've received on my new haircut. I can't wait to come back!

I just recently moved to Brantford from Oakville, my previous hair salon is in Mississauga and the drive is just too much now. I checked out House of Hair’s reviews and knew I had to give them a shot. They’re appointment only but my husband works crazy hours and I’m at home with a toddler while working from home and pregnant - getting out just isn’t that simple anymore! My husband just so happened to work from home one morning and I called to make an appointment as soon as they opened - they got me in within 30 mins!! So appreciative for this. As soon as I walked in, I got my hair washed and cut immediately. Kate was absolutely amazing. She talked me through everything she was doing/going to do, including the products she was using. She’s an amazing & very knowledgeable stylist. The most relaxing experience I’ve had in a long time and I walked out absolutely LOVING my new look and feeling great. Thank you House of Hair, I can’t wait for my next visit!!

my experience at house of hair was fantastic! i first came in to do a consultation, and was so impressed by the attention to detail and care in the consultation. it felt like everyone was on the same page about the result i wanted for my hair and the communication was very clear. this definitely payed off when it came time for my appointment. i wanted a solid colour over my highlights, and a trim and refreshed layers. if you have curly hair, book an appointment with kate right now. she did wonders to my hair, my curls came back to life. the shape looks absolutely gorgeous and the colour was exactly what i wanted. i left the salon feeling more than satisfied, i was in love with my hair. the staff are all so kind, and it’s a lovely environment. i was so impressed with the haircut especially, if you have curly hair you know that you don’t always have good luck when it comes to salons, but kate was very knowledgeable on cutting and styling my 3a/3b curly hair.

Eryn didnt cut my hair as i told her...she was so good when she was in creative trends salon but now i dont know whats wrong with her. I asked her to cut my hair in layers i have very long hair but she just did trimming and told me you have long hair thats why layers is not showing...how is this possible? And i explain everything twice or thrice that i want layers and some more style but she just did trimming... I am very disppointed.

Michele redid the color, and Jason cut and styled my hair, and both color and cut were what I was wanting for years, and was unable to achieve at my previous salon. I love my new color, it's subtle and now I have great dimension. From the start they were very welcoming and accommodating. I felt safe and everyone wore a mask the whole time, equipment was clean and utensils cleaned often. Upon entry there is a handsanitizing station which was great. Have recommended House of Hair to family and friends. Products were never mentioned or suggested to me, and I never felt forced to purchase annything, which have happened in the past at other salons I have visited before discovering House of Hair.

Today I had my first professional hair cut in over three years. I was blessed to have Jason do my hair. I am actually really picky with my hair. I've probably hated almost all of my haircuts I've had in my life except for this one. This haircut was perfect for me. I got the chance to explain what I liked and disliked and although I didn't know exactly what I wanted, Jason somehow managed to deliver a beautiful haircut for me. I was especially impressed when it came time to do something with my long bang area I had going on. I had no clue or suggestion as to what I wanted but somehow got exactly what I wanted? Mind blowing really. I also have difficult hair. It knots beyond measure after washing and they had the perfect product to make this issue easy to manage. They never tried to sell me anything which I appreciated but the product spoke for itself and I was eager to purchase it. I have two small boys under 5. My husband was supposed to watch them during my appointment but he got called in to work. Desperate for a haircut I decided to take them with me. (That was a bad idea on my part and I do not recommend). But the staff were very accommodating. My children were a bit rambunctious and I felt so embarrassed for them to have disturbed the staff and other customers. I did manage to get them to finally behave nicely for the remainder of my appointment after a very rocky start. The staff were very professional, polite and understanding. But with that being said, do not bring your small children to to a hair appointment like I attempted to do. It will be stressful and I will not be attempting to bring them with me again.. atleast not until they are much older. Thank you to Jason and the other staff. You have no idea how much it meant to me to get a proper haircut. Life-changing really

I just had a scalp treatment done for an oily scalp with before and after pictures done. I was totally amazed with the results Jason explained step by step information . I am calling it a scalp detox. My scalp felt refreshed, tingley and clean without any build up residue left behind. It can now breathe. I have been doing follow up as recommended and have no regrets. I have been going to Michelle for 2 solid years now. My very first experience was like nothing I had ever experienced before when going to a salon for the first time. Like most women if not all, I had certainly played the game of jumping from stylist to stylist until I found the perfect one that knew how to read my mind as to what I envisioned and the look I was trying to achieve. On my first visit with Michele she took the time to get to know me personally. She asked questions as to what I was wanting to accomplish with my hair. The look, the colour, the style etc. It was an amazing experience. Michele did a great job on my hair; she really took the time to understand what I wanted. I've been in Brantford for almost 4 years and I haven't found a hairdresser that I would see again. I usually go to Toronto to see my old stylist, but it isn't very convenient and it is pretty expensive. House of Hair is reasonably priced, especially considering the length of my hair and how long she spent on my consultation and the actual cut. I also received a lovely thank you letter in the mail about a week after my visit. I will definitely be returning and I think she will become my regular hairdresser.

Sam got me in 3 days before Christmas with about a 5 minute notice from me because my stylist had cancelled on me. Wonderful, kind woman! I had 2 people working on my hair. Sam had never seen me before and gave me an amazing color and trim! I've been trying for 6 years to explain to stylists the color chestnut I want and my hair always comes out a horrible red brown or so dark as to be almost black. Sam took one look at my hair and gave me beautiful color! I honestly don't know how she did it. She's just amazingly talented!
