I went it just over a month ago, for rose gold ombré and it washed out first wash, I contacted them about that and they offered to redo it free of charge, again the colour washed out after first wash. I know it was a difficult colour to upkeep but it shouldn't of washed out after one wash especially when I wasted $20 on a shampoo they put the colour pigment in.
So again I let them know the colour didn't stick whatsoever after my first wash after (I wash one a week in cold).
They again offered to fix my hair (which is amazing customer service right? Just wait.)
I went it asking to get my hair just back to natural and to add extremely natural highlights/lowlights to it. That's where things went wrong. Apparently natural meant blonde(I have extremely dark hair) as soon as my hair was washed and I saw it in mirror I said something right away that it's not what I asked for, I asked for natural looking because I planned on giving my hair a long break.
The stylist said she would tone it darker (I was surprised she didn't colour it darker). So she toned it darker cut and dried it. I couldn't tell from the lighting at night in the salon that my hair isn't what I asked for, so I was happy. It wasn't until the next day in proper/better light that my hair has a blue hue as well that I have ashy grey steaks in my hair. I messaged them through their Facebook page promptly realizing this, asking for a refund/partial/ or even a giftcard (I'd sell it) so I could get money and go elsewhere.
My messages were seen and ignored (two separate days I sent messages). So promptly at open on May 15th I called in to the receptionist to literally tell her what happened.
Her response was that I was lucky they even offered to fix it a third time, that I obviously had no idea what I wanted, and that because I had no clue what I wanted that it was my fault that it didn't work out.
Excuse me? Are you actually blaming a customer for a stylist turning some of my hair grey? How is that ANY of my fault?
Also not know what I wanted? I wanted rose gold, obviously after the two time of it not working I wasn't going to try a third and my hair needed a break and going natural would allow me to continue to grow it without it looking horrible. I SAID natural and with lowlights/highlights that were barely noticeable to give it depth.
I NEVER have had this many issues with a place, I've never had to go back to a salon with dyes gone wrong.
This whole thing was my first and my last time there dying hair.
And it's the last time I will be there as well as it'll be the first place I will recommend to not go to when someone askes for suggestions.
I applauded your amazing customer service this whole ordeal until this morning when I was told it was my fault the colour is the way it is.
