For over a year she has been a blessing, with a level of professionalism and rapport that fits my daughters character. I would recommend anyone to this location and especially Toni. I had an appointment with Krista at the Brampton location for a Dry-Cut Curly. I have 4a hair with a lot of density. Obviously a perfectionist, Krista was patient and took her time ensuring that I received a cut I was happy with. I love my new hair cut and I honestly think it is the best haircut I have ever had. I am completely satisfied with the service I received at the Brampton location and Krista was amazing!

To my fellow curly girls, don't look anywhere else. You won't regret coming to this place. It was my first time getting a curly hair cut and I was very nervous, didn't know what to expect, cuz I didn't want a major change, just healthier curls. But right when I sat down on that chair, and surrendered my hair to Toni's hands, I instantly felt comfortable and in good hands. Toni is experienced, instinctive and a very good listener. You can be real with her and she's gonna be real with you. My hair has come alive, my self-confidence came back, and there is hope again for my hair. It's exactly what I wanted. I never cut my hair or ever embraces my curly hair. For years I have always straightened my hair until recently when I realize how badly damaged my hair was. I reached out to one of my curly haired friends who recommended this place .. so I decided to give it a try. I was nervous as hell since I only allowed one person to cut my hair ... Until I sat sat in Toni's chair. She sat down and we went through my hair history and my hair routine. She knew I was nervous to cut my hair but was very reassuring. We finally went through the whole curly dry cut & hair mask. She was very attentive and hen my hair was wet she rechecked the cut to ensure everything aligned well. She then styled my curly hair and it was the curliest it has ever been since I was a child. She told me the best way to style my hair to ensure it stays curly and carefree. I left being proud of having curly hair.. days after people kept complimenting my hair as well as the cut. BTW the cut looked amazing booth curly and straight. Definitely recommend this place and definitely recommend Toni as your curl stylist

I went to another salon to have my hair lightened and the process took over a year and my hair was destroyed... Like curls GONE for 4 months after each time...This was the first time I had my hair coloured at the Curl Ambassadors and my hair looked better after than it did before going in ... I would highly recommend this place to anyone with curly hair who struggles to find people who understand curls (it's dang near impossible) I can't imagine every going anywhere else and Toni is amazing!

I had a groupon for a dry-cut and style. Sheridan was very nice and had a consultation with me. The cut however was nothing special. She pretty much just took a bit off the ends so i left the overpriced salon with the same hair only sliiiiiightly shorter :/ I was really hoping for more

If you’re here because you saw the Groupon and are unsure of what this place is all about go ahead and buy it!! It’s a great treat for curly girls and could turn into your new regular spot if that’s what you’re looking for. The appointment consisted of an assessment with questions & answers about your hair, hair care, likes/dislikes, current styling regiment and the style you want. Next you get a cut followed by a really intricate wash process. They’re really good about talking you through what they’re doing and giving you tips for home. Then you go under the dryer but you can opt out if you don’t do heat. The whole experience is finished off by a quick diffusing & being given a form that details the products used. I never wear my curls more than a day and after leaving I was able to keep them down for 4 days. I say it’s worth the Groupon and if you can afford it regular visits.????

I LOVE my curls. I went in for a dry cut and partial highlights. Sheridan walked me through each step, ensuring I was informed, educated and pleased with each service. As they aren't drying hair at the moment, I left with my hair wet and unsure what would happen when it dried. I kept waiting for it to dry and get frizzy, puffy, shrink, etc. But it just didn't happen. That is a first for me. I was able to sleep on it (in my pineapple ponytail) and just really briefly re-shape with a little water, and head out the door for 3 whole days. My curls remained defined and soft. Thank you Sheridan for reminding me why I love my curls!

If i could give this place a million stars i would. If you have curly hair this is the only place you should be doing your hair!!This place is literally the BEST for curly hair. First of all, the staff there are the sweetest nicest people EVER!! I was able to have a consultation before hand which really helped my hairdresser Toni to understand my hair better which made me feel like they really cared about my hair and hair type and what i wanted out of the appointment. Second of all, i didnt even know what my hair needed until i had my consultation to make my hair curlier and healthier. Third of all, i didnt even know my NATURAL curly potential until I came here!! April 13, 2019 - I brought my 13 year old daughter to the Brampton location and we’re over the moon thrilled with the results! She loves the cut and the curls are oh my gosh amazing! Sheridan was our stylist and she knew exactly what we wanted and what she was doing. She was so patient and they true there word, they not only did a fabulous job but they teach you how to do it yourself. They recommend products but do not pressure you to buy it. The groupon deal was so worth it but we still got exceptional service and work despite only paying half the price!

Curl Ambassadors is the place to go to!! I received a dri-cut as a birthday gift, and went in last week with low expectations, as I hate cutting my hair. I was BLOWN away. Toni took the time to talk to me very frankly, and made me feel super comfortable. The ambiance was amazing, and I felt super valued. She recommended products and made suggestions that made me feel like a person. I took a picture of my hair the day before, and a picture of it after the cut and condition. I had a way better experience at the VAUGHAN location. Ladies beware if your Blessed with THICK or extra DENSITY hair- They will charge you an extra $25.00- Which in my opinion is very unfair and just a money grab. So if your a black girl with hair past your shoulders and 3c,4a,4b,4c hair BEWARE!. My appointment was NOT on time,. I walked out of the salon very unhappy, ended up re-doing it myself at home. Waste of money and time. Points for a clean/nice decor.

I have curly hair and have recently been trying to embrace and really take care of them. I have very thick and long dead hair so i assumed cutting some of the dead ends would help with the weight. I just booked an appointment with my original stylist and she ruined my hair. I called The Curl Ambassadors to help me fix the mess that she created. I heard about them from a few curlies in a Facebook group so I thought I'd try it out. I was super nervous because I had already spent so much money on my original cut so the price was making me nervous. I went anyways and I was totally impressed. Toni is AMAZING. She brought my damn curls back to life in ways I didn't know possible. I went to this salon on Sunday, July 8 in the morning. The staff were very professional and the décor of the place was great. My stylist was Toni who I was very impressed with as she knew her profession but I was very disappointed in the cost that I had to lay out for this service. My hair is very short, short afro and I had a cut and a colour. I was impressed with the colour but I thought $84.00 for a cut was very expensive. I didn't say anything at the time as I didn't want to create a scene, but I think it was grossly overpriced. If this charge is for my hair which is short and it only took Toni a few minutes to shape it up, how much are you going to charge someone with long hair? Over $100.00?

Krista took her time to make sure that she was doing everything properly. She was really gentle and took the time to explain and show me how to care for my (newly discovered) wavy hair. I really like how they give you a sheet at the end with all the products and techniques used so you can replicate the results at home. I just had my first appointment today with Toni and it was a great experience! She really educated me on my curls and brought them back to life through a dry cut and style. Due to a problem with their system Toni was working on another client and me at the same time but I didn’t mind! Best curly hair salon ever! Everyone here takes time to get to know your unique hair type and the factors that make your hair dry/damaged. They work with you to develop a good hair routine and recommend natural products that best suit you. Also, I have to mention that all the stylist's here actually listen to what you want. If you want an inch cut, they will just cut an inch; if you want the dead ends cut, they will just do that. I was always nervous to go to salons because they stylist's never listened and just did whatever they wanted. That is NOT the case here. They understand the issues girls with curly hair face and know that there is a big difference cutting curly hair. They make you feel safe and will ensure you'll be happy when you leave! I got my hair cut and coloured my hair by Sheridan and she was honestly so amazing. She worked with me to decide what colours would actually look good with my skin tone and she was very patient and knowledgeable while doing so. I am so unbelievably happy with my hair!! Curl Ambassadors is such an amazing establishment. This location specifically is so clean, safe, comfortable and the staff is always a pleasure! Toni gets me right every time. She’s meticulous and makes sure the job is perfect. Highly recommend this salon for other curlies!

I have been going to Curl Ambassadors for many years starting with the Vaughan location then following my stylist to the Pickering location (Cammie). Living in Brampton I've been to many salons trying to find someone who can cut wavy hair properly (2c) without having the stylist feel the urge to flat iron it in order to style it or blow.it out straight. I was willing to drive to Pickering for the service. When Curl Ambassadors opened in Brampton I was both super excited and nervous to try it out as I know the stylists are all trained the same but that doesn't mean they all do a good job. I booked the appt with Toni and held my breathe hoping for the best. Walked out of there loving my haircut and Toni. For those complaining about the price. Yes It's pricey. It has always has been with Curl Ambassadors but I pay knowing that my hair will look the way it should and it's a cost I'm willing to spend on myself every 3 months.

VERY expensive for service. purchased a groupon (x2) and the Brampton location wouldn't allow me to use the second one because the first one was used the last time?? They only offered credit for the groupon towards the full price. They are good but way too expensive

I came into curl ambassadors for a dry cut for my daughter who is 8 years old. She hadn’t cut her hair in close to year and was very anxious about losing her length. Toni , our stylist was reassuring with our requests , warm and easy to communicate with. My 8 year old sat in the salon with our stylist and I waited outside as per Covid guidelines. Upon my return I was thrilled to see a cut which was exactly what we had requested and my girl smiling from ear to ear. We booked our return visit immediately and I have referred Toni and Curl Ambassadors to all of my curly girls! Excellent service and knowledgeable.

- Poor customer service when booking an appointment ( even before covid-19) - Never get to request your hair stylist unless you know them before their “great” reviews - No one smiles and looks stressed out - Found them four years ago and my first time was amazing but my hair stylist keeps leaving, and the front desk service keeps getting worse even though they’ve been trying to expand, I guess the salon cannot keep up with demand. - I have given up on trying to buy into their service.

I was so impressed with the hard work and efforts in the salon.. not only do they go above and beyond but they definitely make it happen... Toni was so busy but she made it work now that’s dedication and passion. Absolute trash experience. My appointment did not start on time I had to wait at least 40 minutes. I booked the curly doo (wash and style) and the dry cut with them and I left with my split ends still there and crunchy dry hair. They also applied this spray which made my scalp very itchy and I had to wash it out the next day. I ended up paying $99 dollars for the curly doo and dry cut together. They are scammers as well! On their website it says 100% guaranteed satisfaction on their service or a full refund. I called them and asked for a refund a they said in order to receive it I must come in again to try and “fix” my hair which was of course never mentioned on the website. I declined as I had single braids in by this time and I refused to go back there to further ruin my hair. The service I received was definitely not worth $99. Also if you have type 4 hair don’t expect them to know how to properly do your hair. Overall just don’t go! I wish i could give them zero stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was really nervous about going to a salon because I have dense, 4C hair and it was my first time getting highlights! Millie was super gentle with my fine kinky coily strands and really put me at ease. She walked me through each step so I understood what she was doing and how I can apply her techniques to keep my hair moisturized and healthy at home. In the end my hair was super defined and coily and the coppery brown highlights looked amazing! Can't wait to go back!

Went there to get my hair trimmed and styled as I was still learning to deal with my natural curls, Toni was really nice and loved her energy and as much I liked how my hair looked when I left it was not great the next day; while they were doing my hair they were spraying something in it when I asked I was told it was water...in a can... the next day my hair felt gunky and nothing like when I left( in assuming they sprayed hair spray in my hair to hold it so it just looked good before I left)... i wasted a good amount of money thinking it would work for my hair on going and that wasn't the case. Definitely not coming back

Amazing experience! Price is competitive with other curly hair salons for a wash and cut. Staff are very knowledgeable and are great at teaching new and better ways to take care of curly hair. Blow drying is not available right now due to the pandemic, so come prepared with a micro fibre towel as you will be leaving with damp hair.
