I have been here 4 times now with 3 different stylists and colour experts. Loved what both did with my hair so beautiful. They listened and let me know what was possible, then executed it flawlessly. They also work hard to stick to their schedule and fit you in. Appointment is required for colour, they are busy for good reason

They are a good salon however they overcharged for their services. I asked for a couple highlights and roots and it came to nearly $200 with the blow dry.

After a bad experience at a curly hair salon, it was hard to trust a hair stylist. I was highly recommended to Sonique by my mom who always does her hair with Cassie. Cassie did such a great job with my highlights I loved the colour, it was exactly what I wanted and more! I then had my curly hair cut by Victoria who specializes in curly hair. She was also fantastic and I've never loved my hair as much as I did after visiting this salon ! Highly recommend !

It was my FIRST time at this place ans honestly, didn't regret one bit !!!! Such caring staff with excellent service. I got my balayage done by Cassy and she did an AMAZING job!!! I've been to other salons to get the results i wanted but they all failed! Spent hundreds od dollars with no good result. This place is a bit pricey but again you wont regret it ! It's defimitely worth it !!! Huge thanks to Cassy and Cat !!!

I have had some traumatic experiences with hairdressers and was so weary about it my hair was a drab mess for years and affecting my self esteem. I remember a friend going here years before and having a positive experience. So I went to Google saw some great review so I put my faith in and made an appointment with Victoria. She was sweet and amazing right off the bat. She put me at ease and I was quickly confident that I was with a professional. She took care with my requests and had great communication. I left feeling so great. My hair was the exact colour blond I was looking for and my hair was soft and health looking. I'm so happy with my choice to visit Sonique. I recommend any give them a try. The price was reasonable and I received quality service. The shop was clean and open with a good atmosphere. Vibrant!

I had my hair coloured, cut and styled by Michelle! She knew exactly what I wanted and she put in so much time and effort to make sure I got the look I wanted! You wont be disappointed if you go with her for your hair needs! She is very professional, patient and very caring. She walked me to the door and made sure I was safe as I got into my car as my appointment took a long time because I wanted my hair done a certain way:)

The only salon I go to now. My kids get their hair cuts here & style, and I get color /highlights /blow outs... They have color specialist which I believe makes a huge difference compared to other places. I recommend Tara, Sarah,& Cassandra. I have been coming here for the last few years and have nothing but amazing things to say. Tara is my stylist and she is awesome!!! She always gives me a great colour and cut, I have never been disappointed. The rest of the team at the salon are always friendly and helpful. Their price point is comparable to other salons in the West GTA. I recommend anyone in the Brampton area (I come from Georgetown) to give Sonique a try. You won't be disappointed!

My wife booked a haircut appointment a month ago...she waited that long just to get a call back 3 days before her appointmet date that the hair dresser is looking to cut her clients and would not be able to help my wife. She asked her to either cancel that or get it done from a junior. Strange professionalism. Had they have a professional courtsey to inform this on time, a whole month wouldn't have gone waste. Now my wife has to start afresh with tha t wait time again with another hair salon. Such insensitivity to clients. Not appreciated.

I went here for highlights and lowlights in my hair. Can’t thank TARA enough for the excellent job she did. She understood exactly what I wanted and delivered as per my expectations. And this is coming from someone who is very picky about hair (and everything in general for that matter lol). I don’t trust anybody else besides Soniques to work on my hair. Highly recommend to anyone considering this salon.

People were professional and the place was clean. But, I think it was very expensive and I am not convinced I would like to go again. I asked my hair dresser to give me a straight haircut, she kept insisting I should get layers done. I repeatedly told her I don't like layers on my face, but after a lot of convincing from her, I decided to try what she suggests. I came home and literally hate my haircut. I paid 200$ for something that I hate now.

I was so impressed by the safety precautions taken by staff, and the fact that despite all the changes, there was no change to the quality of the service or the pleasantness of the experience. The staff were wonderful, and I deeply appreciate and respect the sacrifices they are having to make to ensure their safety and the safety of their clients. I highly recommend this salon!

Went in hoping they would do a good job as I read some good reviews. But was disappointed, showed the lady a picture of what I wanted, said she could do it. Looked nothing like what I wanted and the colour was coppery not blonde. Went back asking them to fix it, explained what they would do to fix it was nothing like I wanted. Kept telling me my SKIN colour was "too dark" for the hair I wanted.... Irrelevant to anything. Went to another salon and got exactly what I wanted.

So I typically don’t write reviews right after a haircut as I am ways feel such a high when I first get it cut. However, after waiting several months before writing this review, I can honestly say Sonique Hair Salon is the BEST place I have ever gotten my haircut. Not only did they consult with me about the cut, they spent time explaining how it would look on me, provided me different options to get me to the look I wanted and gave me tips on styling my hair for different occasions. Even after several month of it growing out, my hair still looks amazing and that speaks to the quality of the cut! The staff there are always friendly, welcoming, accommodating and very talented. Prices are reasonable and the space is beautiful. I live in the Wellington Region and never complain about driving the distance for a hairdo. That’s how much I value this salon. I would recommend anyone to give it a try and feel confident you won’t be disappointed.

Got a great hair cut few months ago, she didnt butcher my hair like other places do, did exactly as I asked, went to a another (much more expensive) place recently and got my hair butchered layered way to much and looking just ugly, got ugly bangs when specifically asked not to. waiting for it to grow out so I cant go back to sonique. These people listen.

Had one of the worst experiences in my first(and last) appointment. I was advised when I booked my appointment that I will be given a 15 minute time slot for just discussing my hair type and my needs but nothing of that sort happened.Also i was charged almost $65 dollars for the crappy hair cut as the lady who did it was supposed to be the owner and specialized in what she did(I don't believe shes specialized at all, any local boutique can give that kind of haircut for $25-$30 dollars). The day I went for the cut, there was some water supply issues in that main line and after applying soap on my hair, the water supply cut off so the hair dresser used 1 kettle of water to wash of all the shampoo in my hair which was impossible as 1 kettle of water can in no possible way wash of all the soap in my shoulder length hair. I did mention to the hair dressed that I like straight hair and tie it most of the time so give me a haircut that suits my need. At the end she curled up my hair just to save time i guess as straightening would have taken her much longer perhaps. I left the boutique without creating a scene that day but emailed them about how unsatisfied I was with my first visit and hated the hair cut which was too short from the bangs so every time i tie it the hair comes on my face. They didn't have the courtesy to even reply back or apologize for it and chose to simply ignore my complaint. Would never ever recommend to anyone, the place is a mess, not worth the prices they charge us. In that price I would rather go to a high end boutique and get elite services. Worst hair salon ever .If this is what customer service is to them, I can only imagine who comes back to them after the first visit.

Came here for a cut, root touch-up and highlights and am very pleased with the results achieved by Victoria! Note that the lighting in the space isn't that bright, and colours may appear darker inside of the salon than outdoors. My hair was dyed a cool-toned brown and appeared dark in the salon, but it's actually lighter and exactly the shade I wanted.

I go to Sarah, she is the only hair stylist I would let touch my hair. I’d follow her where ever she was working. She is amazing! Knows how to properly cut short hair without boxing you off or giving it a “boyish” look. The other staff are friendly and also seem to be well trained. Great salon with reasonable prices. 10/10

I'd had a hard time finding a place I trust with my hair until I went for my first appointment at Sonique. Nicole was my hairdresser, and she was so bubbly and friendly! I showed her a picture (long bob, slight waves), and she did EXACTLY what I wanted. She's probably also one of the only stylists I've ever had to do my bangs with the perfect amount of wispiness and slant (don't know the exact terminology). In addition to stylists listening to your needs, they are also so courteous, warm and friendly here which is SO, SO important to me. I felt comfortable right from the beginning to the end. Honestly, once I have a great experience with a place, I become a frequent client. Have already recommended Sonique to my co-workers.
