Let's just say... I did not get a hair cut I asked for. I already knew that I would have to go back for a 'fixing'. (but will not) I shouldn't have to, since a 'senior stylist' cut my hair. If I had another stylist, maybe I wouldn't be in this situation? Who knows, (so my mother fixed it for me, lol) My son got his hair cut from a different stylist, and it was superb. I guess I was one of the unlucky few. Would I go back? Maybe.....

First time at this salon, and I can't say enough great things about the atmosphere and their incredibly talented stylists! Both my mom and I went to this salon to fix our terribly cut and bleached hair, and did they ever do a fantastic job. Steve not only gave my mom exactly what she asked for, but also fixed her cut to give her the look shes been wanting for years. Mark turned my hair from a bleached disaster from a previous salon, to incredible in less than 2 hours (and of course some laughs in between). We have been looking for a permanent hair salon for years and we will definitely be back again. Thank you so much to both Steve & Mark and the rest of the team! :)

Based on huge oversell by manager who was a really sweet man l paid for a rock h veggie burger w rock hard bun. Food actually slid out while my big mouth tried powered down on this man made construction piece. A lesser sized mouth would not have had a chance to grapple with this monstrosity. Inedible. Complained nicely and I demonstrated to waitress who seemed to understand.. To correct error waitress brought another burger..made the exact same way!!! Thanks chef! Gordon ramsay or any other intelligent reviewer would have fried this place! On return...Recooked to imperfection. So...No quality control. Finally...Had to actually ask for discount as they did not even entertain idea of full refund. They make money hand over fist it appears but no time to improve the customer experience... Can u believe this? Stay away vegetarians!!

This salon is fantastic! People are great, very welcoming and friendly! But the best thing about this salon is the talent! You can see any one of the stylist and be confident that you will walk away happy! This includes the staff that do color. They have such a wide knowledge base from conservative to as funky and fun as you want. Definitely worth the drive to Brampton.

I really had a great experience with Koi Salon. I came in with JET black box dye/sally beauty color in my hair for 7+ years. Previously I had tried to lighten in and had a horrific experience where I actually had to chop my 19” off to a bob because the breakage was so bad from bleach. So to say the least I came in really freaked as I haven’t seen a hair colorist since then. I was super anxious and despite my annoyance of saying “ okay I think it’s been on long enough, is my hair still there?” every two minutes they did and amazing job to reassure me everything was going to be just fine! I had two sessions of lightening the first time they got me about 4 levels lighter the second another 1-2, second time I did highlights to even out and such we could have stayed lighther. I went from a level 1-2 to a level 5-6!! Amazing! And the abosolute best part is they used PH balance which is similar to olaplex and my hair actually came out SOFTER than before the bleach even touched it! I have extremely curly hair also which is normally quite fragile and course, usually when any type product is used my curls freak out and either go frizzy or this straight damaged yucky curl, but NONE of this happened! I’m so lucky I choose to come to Koi! I had Alex and Tamara as my colorists! Thank you ladies so so much, you have no idea how much I appreciate you!

Went back to this salon on 3 separate occasions. First time was to do a basic hair coloring and cut. Second time was less than 2 months later to fix the hair coloring the stylist did because it looked so terrible. The fix she did was very nice so I decided to go back once more. Third time was for a color and cut. Stylist did another terrible job and I did not want to get charged for her bad skills again. Went to another salon where they could immediately give me what I asked for and the more experienced stylist was confused as to why they couldn't do what I originally wanted at Koi Hair Studio besides their lack of skill set. Receptionist is also quite unprofessional. Overall, the hair salon is OK, but the stylists are bad at their jobs. Do not waste your money here.

It can be a bit intimidating going to a trendy salon but my experience there was great. I saw Shivani for a hair cut, wash and style. She took her time with me and explained what she was doing throughout the process, making sure I got what I wanted (she even helped me better understand what I wanted in ghe first place). We also did a colour consult for future appointments, she was positive and realistic about my expectations and what she could safely do to my hair. She advised me to check out hers and the other koi stylists' IGs to see if anyone's particular style of colour best suited my needs... but honestly my experience with her was so positive I probably will rebook with her. Highly recommend. Also they take COVID-19 precautions seriously, as they should!

This was my first visit! I had to cancel my first appointment, which was politely accepted. Thank you, Koi. For the rescheduled appointment we went there 30 minutes earlier and Marco, the stand-up comedian aka the stylist was there for us. He gave us suggestions as to which hairstyle will suit me..and which will not..and was awesome from start to end. He should seriously consider doing stand-up shows if he is still not doing it. I am greatly satisfied with his service. Thank you, Marco. :)

Really great spot for getting your hair cut the way you like, went here for the first time today and everyone was really nice, Emmanuel did a great job cutting my hair the way I like and being very attentive to the little details. Pricing was fair and cheaper than what most barbershops in Brampton offer so this will probably be a regular spot for me.

I wouldn’t return back to this salon, my hair washed out of colour within a week, and when I ask about it. I was told he knew the colour wouldn’t stick, then ignored me further. If you know a colour wouldn’t stick inform the person and let them know this, it would have been appreciated after the money I spent to know it was just going to wash out!!

Found my new go to hair salon! I got a wash, cut & style as I desperately needed a haircut to fix the 'choppy' layers that I received a few months ago. Shivani showed me approx how many inches of my hair would be cut from every side before actually cutting it which was well appreciated!. I'm picky about hair salons because I have super thick & long hair and many hair stylists don't have the patience for it. I wasn't rushed, the salon was clean , there's parking at the back and everybody seemed pleasant .

Stephanie and Alex are the best!!! The prices at KOI are very reasonable and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I always get my hair done from Stephanie or Alex and they never disappoint! The stylists are honest and friendly, and will give great advice on how to achieve your desired look in order to minimize the damage from things like bleaching and colouring hair. I have not had a single visit where i left KOI unsatisfied with my hair and unlike other salons the price you pay is not far off from the estimate you can get at your consultations. These stylists love what they do and it shows in their work! I would definitely recommend KOI hair studio as well as the stylists Alex and Stephanie!

Not impressed. The people here are super nice but they don't really do what you ask for. If you don't really care about your hair this would be ok to go to but if you have specific ideas for what you want your hair to look like specially if it's your first time getting your hair done then I don't reccomand going here because you won't get the look you want. In the consultation they will tell something else and the end result would be different. Also in the beginning they give you a different price and by the end that amount doubles. Don't reccomand this place.

First of all my question regarding about an appointment over the phone , the receptionist told me come over we wanna see your hair when I reached there and after consultation she asked me to pay the consultation fee. Wow we chatted a good amount of time over phone and she never mentioned about the consultation fee. Ok after that I asked for the price of coloring and cut, here begins the ping pong game between receptionist and consultant and I was left in the middle. Isn't that super professional. If you are new person be ready that kind of games. Now come to the appointment day , my hair cut was scheduled for Stephanie and God knows I still don't know who is Stephanie at the salon. After coloring I was told Stephanie has another client , so wait for 1 hour or pick the one who colored my hair which a found a super slow person. Man I spent almost 4 hours and they did only 2 basic jobs with very slow hands. I better blow dry and cut my hair at home. Pls be aware if you are new person they considered you naive and in very unprofessional way. I saw another client who just entered and male stylist did a job in hardly 20 minutes. Come on , treat all at the same level. ....never going back again.

They charge you $30 to blow dry your hair.. so I left with soaking wet hair & when she was washing my hair, she forgot the towel thing, so water spilled all down my back :( & it was cold out.. The people were nice though loll......

Highly recommend Koi for a number of reasons. I've been a going there for years. Great atmosphere, wonderful people, quality products used. However, all that aside, what really makes Koi outstanding is their unbelievably talented stylists. Always inventive, creative and on top of all the new techniques for both cut and colour. If you've seen it, they know how to do it, and do it it well. There is a real dedication and focus on training and development in this studio, and it shows. The cuts are outstanding, from ALL the stylists, which is a rare thing. Could not recommend Koi enough!! I promise you will not regret going here!

Absolutely horrible. UnOrganized, unprofessional and 0% knowledge of hair styling. I bring my mother and grandma here and every time we come, their hair is either 5-7inches too short, the layers are wavy like a child cut their hair and they are always late for appointments. Waited 1 HR and 30 mins late for a hair appointment booked 2 weeks in advance. do not waste your money and time
