Lots of choice of barbers and you can pick the one you'd like next time for an added fee. They're really taking physical distancing serious. You must buzz to be let in and have only 6 seats inside for waiting. All cutting stations are separated and barrier are used when necessary.

I would give this place another star but I find one of the receptionist to come off a bit rude towards me. I came to house of hair not to long ago, I asked for layers. She gave me layers, just really REALLY choppy ones. They looked decent when I left, she styled it for me but now I cannot straighten my hair because they're not blended what so ever, its litterally 3 chopped lines :( super disappointed . I don't know how to use the blow dryer to style it like she did, really time consuming everyday trying to figure out what to do with it. I don't think I'd come back here, not satisfied at all.

It's a good cheap place for a regular cut. WHOEVER'S READING THIS, AVOID JENNIFER!!!!! I showed her a very specific picture of what I wanted (a light fade from my sides into my beard) and she just nearly shaved my sides without any fade, and then she tells me she won't work on my beard! Idk why she didn't think to tell a bearded customer that she doesn't do beards, it's kind of common sense. She's not a competent barber. Everyone else there is friendly, and nice. Just avoid her.

Great barber and salon in Brampton core. Tons of barbers readily available so waiting times are never too bad. Although prices have increased recently (15$ for standard male haircut), still relatively affordable compared to many other half decent barbershop in the area

Extremely disappointed when I went today for a haircut and a beard trim, a well maintained beard that I've been taking care for over a year, I come in and asked this gentleman named Emanuel (I think that's his mame) ask him to trim just a 1/4" even showed him a photo on the phone and ended up with my beard almost shaved? Very bad, now what? Will take months to have it like I wanted. Sorry, not going back, very unprofessional.

Went to house of hair today. Took a chance and called them because on Saturday's they are usually so incredibly busy. They quickly booked an appointment for me. Saw a new stylist,her name was Lisa. Showed her a picture of a pixie style I was considering. She looked at my hair and said that it wouldn't suit my hair because it was too fine and thin. I asked her to cut my hair in a style that she would think suited me. She gave me this incredible Bob cut that is a little longer in the front and layered in the back. Added some highlights. Total cost for the cut, highlights blow-dry and style$100. I walked out totally in love with my new do. But most importantly I appreciated her honesty in finding a style that was right for me. It's incredibly refreshing to have a stylist who knows her job that well and is able to make an assessment of what best suits the client stylewise. Once again House of Hair you guys are amazing.

Very good hair salon and great service by Cindy. She did an amazing job with the color and cut. Prices are affordable compared to many other salons in Brampton. The place is huge and can accommodate a lot of customers at once, which means there's fewer chances of not getting an appointment or not being helped if you've walked in.

Are used to come to House Of Hair many years ago and before prices eight and it was getting a little bit too pricey and expensive for me I’m it is a great hair salon with a great bunch of coworkers who does many many different different things they’re all talented from doing haircuts two different styles to dying hair perms etc. and much more but unfortunately due to the hike in the price I had to go elsewhere for my Dollar to stretch but if you are interested and want to try this amazing hair salons and pay the price by all means give it a shot other than that that’s my opinion.

I had an appointment for 10:00am, which was confirmed the day before. The receptionist called me this morning around 9:30am to inform me that the previous customer arrived late, and asked if it was alright to push my appointment back to 10:30, which was fine. I waited a short while after I arrived (a bit before 10:30), the hair dresser came out to speak to the receptionist for a while. Basically the hair dresser said that the previous appointment was way more important, and would take more time. I guess the hair dresser didn’t want to push back any other appointments because the next time I would be able to get my hair cut was at 2:00-3:00pm! I have been getting my hair cut here twice a year for the last six years. Every time I have made an appointment there is on average a 20-25 minute wait. I used to think it was worth it, unfortunately after the lack of professionalism from the hair dresser I realize that it is not. The receptionist was polite in every interaction, and quite apologetic for the waste of time. Unfortunately, the other staff are not.

Good prices. I only go there for one barber's service. He great, I always request him even though it cost an extra couple of bucks, but he is worth it. Update: beware when you put your name on the waiting list and step out for a few minutes and tell them that you'll be back. They will just bump you regardless. It has happened twice to me already. The only way to keep your spot is if you sit in the waiting area. Can't trust the reception.

Today was my first time getting a haircut here and I was extremely pleased with the result. I decided on House of Hair after reading other positive reviews here. I booked an appointment with Cyndi and I can't stress enough how impressed I am by her. I came in with shoulder length hair and a picture of the much shorter cut I wanted, and Cyndi nailed it. She is also a very pleasant and inspiring person, and I felt very comfortable in her chair. The receptionist was also very pleasant and I felt like I was a valued customer.

Over the time this place has become the worst place ever to get a cut from. All the staff that I use to know has left. On January 8, 2018 I came because my guy around the corner was not there and I came here. The guy at the first station was so awful at cutting and couldn't understand how to fade properly then the owner came up to me and told me if I give his barber a hard time I'm not welcomed there, well I don't even come there anymore, I after this altercation, I am DEFINITELY STAYING AWAY! Big place with so many stylist/workers working and enough to maintain social distancing. The staff was following the covid protocols. The lady who did my haircut was nice too. My search is over for a hair cutting saloon. lol I have lived in the area for more than 2 years, and it was difficult to find a good saloon, experienced hairstylists, and a good price. This place offers all three. Very clean, nicely managed and not a rip off (some places charge 25-45$ for a mens hair cut, whatever their justification or excuse is, I found it difficult to buy). Try the place to believe it. It is worth the money you are spending, even when you aren’t spending much.

I had haircut back in February and person who did my haircut was Adnan and lady who did my daughter's hair cut was Cyndy. Honestly I had best ever haircut in Brampton so far at House of Hair Inc from Adnan. Very professional and they do great job. My wife did not want to shorten my daughter's hair. Cyndy recommended to get its trimmed so that it can grow correctly. She did not even charge full money and charged only $ 5 for spending her time which these days would never happen anywhere else. Please do not get mistaken with price being low thinking they may not provide quality service. They do far better job than any other expensive hair salons in Brampton. I started coming here years ago off a whim and have never looked back! I visit Maurissa and I love the work that she does! My hair looks amazing every time. I usually go for a haircut or to colour my hair. My hair has balayage and used to be ombre. Both were done by her and she has done an amazing job each and every time. The colour in my hair stays for a really long time so I am only colouring my hair once a year. With each haircut in between Maurissa is great at making sure the cut fits my face and preserves as much of the colour as she can. Amazing service. The price is pretty typical here and colouring is what you would expect from a salon. It may be a bit high for people. For reference I paid about $180 for the balayage in my hair but it does require more steps and a lot more hair dye. For one straight colour I would suspect it would be less. It also does depend on your hair length I believe.

If you aren't waiting for a specific barber, you have to wait at most 5 minutes in the lobby. There's many barbers to choose from and it may take you years to find the barber for you. The quality of the hair cut depends on the barber and overall they're pretty good. New barbers usually charge $12 and based on experience, you pay more.

Great service. The receptionist is usually very nice! I get an appointment fast. And the lady I go to always does a good job and gives me honest advice. Only thing I would recommend for that place is renovating the space... it’s a little outdated and some of the staff there still have haircuts from the 80s/early 90s! I wouldn’t trust them with my hair. But overall great!

Maurisa is absolutely the best. She has an amazing personality so I feel comfortable going to her and talking to her feels like I'm talking to an old friend. She is good at recommending what type of hair cut or color would suit me more when I ask but she will also do exactly as you ask if you need and do it well. I've been seeing her for a couple years now and I've had no reason to go elsewhere. I love my hairstyle each time I go to her and it looks good after my first wash too when I don't style it. Make appointments far in advance as she does get busy because of how good she is!

I come to this place for haircuts and I'm always happy with the result but yesterday I had my roots done for the first time by Claudio and he did a terrible job and customer service, I had to pay full price for it even though he knew I was extremely dissatisfied. I had asked his opinion upon sitting down whether a full colour or just roots should be done. He told me roots so that's what was decided on. However after it was done, my roots weren't matching correctly with the rest of my hair. He wouldn't own up to his mistake, even though his other co-workers were saying repeatedly he should've combed my new root colour through so it matched with the rest of my hair. He said to fix it now he will have to do a full head dye on top of the roots I had just done and it will have to be a darker colour then what I want. Such a simple mistake yet I ended up paying the full price, and he kept saying he think it looks fine, but clearly I wasn't thinking it was fine. He wasn't focusing on fixing, he was trying to justify himself, I felt like I was not being heard. Of course he's the hairdresser, he's going to say it's fine. If the customer doesn't like it, the hairdresser should focus on a solution not keep arguing how they had done it right. Overall, very stressful experience, the owner was called even, nothing was solved. I was so exhausted with the back and forth finally I just paid and left. I liked this place, but after this experience, I think I'm going to have to think twice before getting my hair dyed at House of Hair.

I went there to get my hair done highlights and it was disaster my hair turn completely orange to yellow and my hair were weak and falling off. I paid almot 400 for hair color and when I called back to complain she said I have to pay again for service. Lol they are fraud and they just want to take your money . I'm not sure what people find so great about this salon, its a total dump, the furniture needs to be replaced, most of the leather is peeling off the seats, the wash area is disgusting, its filthy looking and to top it off I received the worst hair cut, the person who cut my hair (Shakira) did a horrible job, now that I straightened my hair, its so uneven on both sides and looks choppy, did not blend my layers at all, I've never been this upset in my life! I had to go to another salon to have them fix the mess the hair stylist created, I will never come to this salon again!

I called today at 9am to confirm my appointment. The receptionist answered the phone. I was very polite and cordial to her. I asked if she could confirm my appointment. She gave me the time and hung up on me. This was very unprofessional and rude. I travel all the way from New York to come to this salon. This is not the way to speak to your customers especially when someone is choosing to come to your salon. You need to train your front staff on proper customer service skills and communication. It's very easy to lose customers over customer service, but twice as hard to get them back.

Love this place. Have been going here for years and its amazing. It does seem a little bit sketchy from the outside but is very clean inside. Almost always busy. Maurisa is the best hair stylist. She understands and listens to what you ask for but also recommends what she feels is good for your hair and face frame. She always makes you feel like you have all of her attention for the time she's with you. She's very dedicated and very mature. Even if she's not having a good or isn't feeling well, she makes sure you have an good experience and apologizes for anything she feels she does wrong. I haven't tried many of the other hair stylists there but any other I have gone to have been good as well. These are experience stylists and know how to cut hair. It's an affordable price as well. Keep up the good work!

I went to Kinga every time and she did a wonderful job, however unfortunately she doesn't work there now. I was nervous two weeks ago to get my hair done from someone else and when done it didn't turn out the way I wanted to. However house of hair went out of their way to allow me to come in and fix it. Definitely a loyal customer here and will be going forward, prices are affordable too and their service has been extrmely wonderful, making the process smooth during this pandemic. Staff are friendly and easy to talk too. The reason i give this place a 1 star is because of the cleanliness. Scissors, blades, and comb have hair and other residue on it and the work station is also kept dirty. I received pimples all over my neck afterwards twice. Will recommend to try another clean barbershop to avoid complication.

I have very simple haircut and I'm not picky..so I tried this place out today and took whoever was available. I just asked for a trim with a 1 to 2 on the sides. The girl took the razor and shaved the side of my head (I believe accidently as she was very flustered for some reason as if she has not cut hair before). I remained calm and half way through the haircut she went and called a coworker to finish my haircut.... with all said and done I have never walked out of a haircut (even in Asia where I can't communicate with them) with a bad haircut.

I had been going to house of hair since couple of years. Hence I asked my husband as well to try it. But unfortunately we both were very disappointed. The person who did his hair was I guess Emanuel. My husband explained him the type of haircut he want but Emanuel just ignored my husband's instructions and he did it the way he wanted and he cut my husband's hair terribly short. Almost half bald. On the top of it the when husband asked him to fix one of the spot he said " I cannot fix your head" I guess Emanuel sorry to say that but I guess it's your head which needs to be fixed.. go get some lessons on how to behave with your customers in a civilised country like canada.

Everyone there is untrained professionals. Been growing hair for long so I want it to have cut a certain style, showed them a picture as well and they end up totally messing up my hair. Not going ever again, so don't expect anything. If you still decide to go, don't go to Jennifer(black women), extremely rude.

Good barber shop which covers basically everything. Super clean and cheap although waiting times can be a little long sometimes. Most barbers I've had are excellent. Except for Jennifer, I've had her give me a haircut 6-7 times now and forgiven her each time but I've realized that she's not the greatest barber even after asking friends that go to House of Hair. She's cut my ear and my neck and doesn't even take the same steps as all other barbers do which results to my hair looking horrible. Last time I had her, she only cut my hair from the outside but when I washed my hair, a bunch of super long hair came out from underneath.

This was literally the worst experience ever. I made an appointment this morning for 11, and explained over the phone that I am black. Went there and the receptionist says "sorry we don't do your kind of hair". If we don't do black here then you would've said it over the phone, don't waste my time.
