Visited around last week of August, it was last minute but informed that there is time to do our hair. (We signed our name in a sheet so I am pretty sure you'll find it) We aren't happy because of what our hair looked. My mom just kept putting her hair up because she is not happy as how it looks like. I hope, as professionals, you see what will look nice or not. I didn't like how my hair turned out as well but I didn't say anything just to be done (my fault in that part). I also just didnt want her to cut more since its already short. Thanks!

I have been to a few places to get haircut and most of were a disappointment. They never understood how I want my haircut to be even showed them pictures and videos. I was nervous that the same would be repeated but I was wrong. I was looking for a mullet-cut for myself and a short one for my sister. The results were a shock to myself as I have never till date found a place that actually gave me the results I was looking for. Not happy with my hair cut, I was put with Kyra who was very friendly and nice, but she is young and inexperienced. My cut came out very choppy and uneven. I didn't realize how bad it wad until I got home very disappointed, I may be forced to go to another salon to get it fixed. ????

I had gotten my hair done for the first time here back in 2019. Kyra was extremely nice and friendly. Not only was she nice but she did exactly what I asked for. I had asked her to do a caramel brown balayage and asked her to make sure that it will look somewhat natural on me with my brown skin. I had previously gone to other hair salons but nobody gave me hair results I wanted as Kyra did. The price is a little expensive in my opinion but honestly it's DEFINITELY worth it because their staff is amazing and I recommed Kyra for sure if you want to get your hair coloured because she knows what she's doing and will give you what you want. I will definitely be coming back here soon to get my hair coloured again. A biggest pro for me was how Kyra started my process at the exact same time I booked the appointment for. I was so surprised because at other hair places I went to, they made me wait for a while before it's my turn, and trust me, Bella Mia Hair Studio gets lots of clients because it took me 2-3 days to finally book in, but yet they are still so punctual once you reach their site and treat you very nicely.

I’m disappointed with my haircut at Bella Mia. My hair cut was done by Kyra she is pleasant and friendly but inexperienced. My haircut looks boxy at the ends. I asked for 2-3 inches off and adding layers. But my hair look boxy and weighed bottom without any layered look. I will have to wait out to maintain my length and go to another salon to get them fixed.

I was on the hunt for a good salon in Brampton when I found bella mia. Seriously the best decision to come here! Prices are reasonable and staff is sooo nice! Erica did a balayage on me for the first time in my life. At first the color was not as expected but they did it again for me after I conveyed my issue, at no additional cost. Erica has a hand for haircuts. I feel brand new everytime I visit them!????

I have been going here for as long as I can remember and have only had great experiences. Harriet never fails to amaze me when executing any style I want, she took my hair that I had been box dying black for about 5 years to a beautiful dirty blonde in 2 sessions, I will be going back very very soon for another session to reach the blonde that I have been wanting but what I love the most is that right from the beginning Harriet talked to me and set my expectations for my hair by saying since my hair was so dark it would not lift to the almost platinum blonde that I wanted and it would take a little while, she took my hair as light as she could and recommended great after care which I have been using ever since. She always makes me feel like family when I go there and always takes care of me and my hair, 10/10 would recommend

My mom has also started going to Bella Mia, Christina and Harriet have both done great jobs on her hair. Very unprofessional people. You have to wait 40 min even you booked your appointment ahead of time. Never recommend. Old ladies don’t know how to cut the hair lol. Waste of time and money. Don’t go, brother don’t lie here I was there at 6:30pm , then I asked you again at 6:45pm. After that you asked that lady who booked for me and she said to you 40 min more. So that you asked for another 15 min which is around 7pm with different guy. You guys are pathetic

I went to get a spiral perm done by Harriett a few days ago and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out! Before this visit, I had gone to her to ask her about how I could get more curls in my hair and she suggested putting in layers first before doing any really harsh treatments. If there is one thing that’s true about Harriett is that she’s HONEST about what she thinks you should do with your hair, she will try and protect it at all costs, and she does it RIGHT. Well I eventually decided on the perm and if you’re looking for people to do a perm right, it’s the stylists at Bella Mia! Worth every penny I spent :) My hair/scalp didn’t burn, it barely took 2.5 hours, and it was completely painless. Thank you Harriett! Other than that, I just wanted to mention that the whole atmosphere of the place is very relaxing and comforting, it’s clear that the stylists have a good rapport with each other and with their (returning!) customers. Will be coming back for all my touch ups!

Bella Mia Studio is an amazing establishment! Each stylist takes the time to say a friendly hello when you enter their studio. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! My husband has been getting his hair cut their for over 27 years and we have new started a new tradition with getting my 2 little guys hair cuts done From the age of 1 year old. They are now 8 and 5. We have had so many people comment on our boys hair anywhere we go. They always ask where we get it done and want the info. I myself also go and get my hair done and absolutely love the hard work and dedication they put into everything they do. The staff is also super knowledgeable about all trends and constantly go for training to further their skills and knowledge. I would definitely recommend Bella Mia to anyone!

I'd always been really wary of using heat dyeing my hair for fear of damaging it, especially after hearing so many nightmare hair dresser stories. Resulted in me not changing up my look for the longest time until I went to Harriet, who's also my mother's hairdresser, and was not disappointed. After experimenting and trying out different dyes and styles with her for about a year, I decided to go all in yesterday, chose a colour that Harriet matched perfectly, and got this gorgeous deep wine ombre that I am super happy with! Harriet's super sweet too, really speaking with me to figure out what I wanted and checking in with me along the way. If you're looking to switch it up, I definitely recommend this place!

The place is good - ambience is nice and friendly. My stylist Kira did a decent job at styling. However - the reason I left disappointed was the pricing. Before I got my services started (partial highlights and a haircut) I asked her how much it was going to cost, she said she would check and get back to me. Once she finished the colouring, I asked her again - same response. Before washing I asked again, and she said “Oh it would be about $50-60 for the highlights and $35 for the haircut” and I thought it was pretty reasonable and was happy. However here’s the unpleasant surprise - when it came to billing, she very candidly tells me the total was $135. When I asked for the break up, she said $80 for highlights and $40 for the cut. Very surprised, I told her it was not in line with what she told me earlier. Without an apology, her response was - “I thought it would be that much, but when I put it in the system - it gave me a different amount”. Excuse me? What did you mean by you would “check and get back?” I assume you would check with the system right? She also mentioned she’s been working at the salon for a few years, so clearly she knew the prices well right at the start. That is such a poor excuse for cheating your customers. I’m very disappointed.

SIMPLY THE BEST When Tina Turner sang her famous song with the lines "Simply the best, better than all the rest," she must have been thinking about Bella MIa. I would add to that, they are fantastic and wonderful. It's not simply a hair salon, its an experience. Harriet has been and is my stylist. She is my secret weapon for a gorgeous healthy hair. My hair has been through hell and back and her experience and knowledge have nourished my hair. She does not give me what I want but she advises me and gives me what is best for my hair. I really appreciate that. Over the years I have interacted with each and everyone of them. Christina and Erica, I thank you for my wonderful braids. Joanne for always saying hi to me and her wonderful smile that cheers me up to simply see it. Kyra I say thank you for listening to my ramblings about my nails as I admire yours. What can one say about Armando, a ship is only as good as its captain and he is a fantastic Captain. What I have come to admire and respect the most about this hair studio is the fact that YOUR HAIR is the most important thing. It might seem strange to say its not about the money, its about YOU and YOUR Hair. I highly recommend them for SIMPLY THE BEST HAIR EXPERIENCE.

I went to Bella Mia for the first time after seeing all the great reviews. I had blonde balayage that needed to be brought up and my usual stylist was swamped with appointments and would take months. I really wanted to like this place. Everyone was so friendly and you could tell that the owner and all the stylists were like a family. You could also see that they had a lot of regulars. The overall atmosphere was friendly and inviting. For that, I give them a star. I also give them another star because their pricing is reasonable. Where it went wrong for me however.. was the outcome of my balayage. It wasn't blended properly and looked more like big chunky streaks than balayage. I can't remember the stylist's name.. but she said that she had been working at Bella Mia for I think 9 years, so that comforted me while I was sitting in her chair. But once I got home and actually got to inspect my hair and once my friends saw it and all had negative comments to say.. I knew I made a mistake. You can clearly tell where she touched it up because my hair is orange instead of blonde. She even mentioned that my hair was pulling yellow and she was trying to even it out with purple shampoo. I feel like if she just left the bleach in longer than it would've been lighter and less orange. When I visit my regular salon, they take at least an hour longer on my hair.. but at least I don't leave orange and it's more blended with my ends. I already went back to my usual salon and my stylist laughed/lectured me (we have that type of relationship), and said it was going to take some work to fix my hair. I feel bad writing them a bad review, especially since they were all so nice, but I really wouldn't recommend coming here for jobs like balayage.

Be careful!! The stylist did not make an effort to understand how I wanted the cut and gave me a shaggy, almost mullet hair cut with ugly choppy bangs that doesn't blend with the rest of the hair. I am so disappointed and it feels like someone has stolen a year of my life where I have to hide myself or feel uncomfortable. It dented my self-esteem and I can't ever trust any hair salon now :(

Okay I am updating my review. The only reason this review is getting any stars from me is because of the stylist Christina. She was a 5/5. I would love to get my hair done from her but because of my experience at this salon particularily with Joanne I will not be going back to this place. If she had displayed even some professionalism and kindness, my overall experience would've been different and I probably would've remained a customer. I left the salon on day 1 practically in tears. Management expressed no concern or reasonable solution and in fact was irate and loud with me. Day 2 was a better experience although I stand by the fact that I should not have been re-charged to have my hair fixed. Anyways it's less about the money and more about the customer service of day 1. If the attitude on day 1 was different, this whole mess would have ended with me being still a happy and returning customer.

A very welcoming environment with knowledgeable staff and reasonable prices. I've been getting my hair cut by Joanna and have been happy with the outcome each time! UPDATE: I still go here and still LOVE it. I've now been getting my hair cut and styled by Christina for almost a year (maybe even longer) and she is awesome. I'm usually nervous about people cutting my curly hair because it can quickly become disastrous, but Christina always does it perfectly. I also love that this salon doesn't have any drama. The staff all have a great rapport with each other and treat each other's clients with kindness. I've recommended it to people I know and I have a few friends who have also been going there for over a year. We all love Bella Mia!

I tried Bella Mia today on a friends recommendation as my usual stylist is not currently working. It was an amazing experience!! Very welcoming salon and I LOVE my hair! I don't trust new hair stylists very easily so was nervous for the outcome. It turned out even better than expected! I got a balayage, cut, and style. It was very fairly priced, clean, and safe. Although I don't live in Brampton, I think this is my new spot! I will definitely be back. Thank you, Christina! You did an amazing job!

Unfortunately I had a similar experience as one of the reviews from a few months ago regarding pricing. I was charged over $200 for highlights which I wouldn't have minded paying had the results been good. Granted I have alot of hair but I have never paid that kind of money at any other salon for highlights futhermore, they were going to charge me an additional $100 to correct the colour. The last time I had orange in my hair was when I used to use peroxide...back in the 80's. I'm sure they are a good salon but my experience unfortunately was not a good one.

This is my 2nd time @ Bella Mia. Today was no doubt different with all the Covid measures in place. My experience was excellent with Harriet. I will return. I never write a bad review but I went here yesterday to get my hair cut and asked for 1-2 inches off of my long hair with some face framing layers. There was over 4 inches cut off of the length, the cut is not even in the back, and the layers are extremely choppy. I didn't realize until I was home how bad the cut was. I am going to another salon tomorrow to get this disaster fixed. I am extremely disappointed, as I have been working on growing my hair long for years and now it is going to be shorter than my shoulder. My biggest mistake was coming to this salon. I have had students cut my hair better.

Kira is amazing, I don't get my hair cut by anyone else anymore. I've been looking for a hairdresser that actually knows how to cut my hair and I have finally found her. Everyone that works there is really friendly. The price is also very good.

We have been going to Bella Mia for about 14 years. My wife never had any luck with most hair salons until Bella Mia came into our lives. We have always recommended this place to our friends and the responses have always been very positive and they also become repeat clients. Last weekend the Bella Mia Team (Armando, Joanne, Joanna, Christina and Harriet) provided styling and make up services to my wife and entourage ( 5 people). They all come out looking amazing specially my wife. The Staff is always friendly, courteous and always show an incredible amount of patience. They will recommend styles that may suit you and they have done with us in the past. We have always taken their advice and never regretted it (specially my wife who has long hair and is extremely picky)
