This was my best experience at a salon in Canada. The salon is very nice and clean, the staff are very friendly and Mat, the stylist, was amazing! I could not be happier with my haircut.

Had gone to do my hair cut and didn't have my own hairstylist available Shawna and so booked it with Loni (owner) of the salon and she cut my hair shorter than expected and did not even do it evenly... for sure going to change my hairdresser as she can't take instructions properly and no cross checking and not friendly at all...hate it....will only go if Shawna is available

I took my 8yr old son for a haircut. The stylist was brand new. I've watched a lot of haircuts over the years and she was simply not methodical with her technique. The haircut took around 45 minutes and I think each of his hairs got cut at least three times until it was somewhat even. Once we got home I noticed the top was still very choppy and the edges not cut crisp... This may have been fine if it was ultra cuts or someone's basement for $15 but when you pay almost $30 at a nice salon you expect something better. I thought about going back and having it fixed but if we go any shorter it would become a buzz cut. I really think there should be a different price structure for a brand new stylist versus somebody who has years of experience. I also think the client should be told up front that the stylist they are booked with is still learning. I probably would have gone elsewhere.

I've been getting my hair cut by Stacy at Salon Vibe for several years. She's careful, well-skilled, a good conversationalist if you like that, without getting distracted from her work. She makes helpful suggestions for style based on hair patterns and your image preferences. Prior to Salon Vibe I'd tried out every hair salon, and several stylists, in the area. Stacy is consistently good, the atmosphere is very friendly, upscale, coffee available, parking is decent. They don't have a real wide selection of products, but the ones they stock are very good.

I had a haircut with Colleen which was pretty bad, I asked for a fade on the sides which was poorly done (in a hurry I must say) to the point when she was done she didn’t even show the back of my head with the hand mirror, I still had long pieces of hair around my ear. I appreciate Loni whom the next morning adjusted the haircut pretty well but I’m not coming back.

Very classy, modern, clean salon! I saw Colleen, and she is one of the best stylists in the city! I’ve been to countless stylist in various salons, and nobody ever really stuck for me. Recently, I had a hair emergency. Went to a previous salon I had been to a couple times and walked out with NOTHING that I asked for, even after thoroughly explaining what I wanted. It was not blended/choppy, BRASSY, and more.. It was a couple days before a big event I had to attend to and everywhere was closed for the long weekend. My girl recommended her and asked her if she could help me at all ???? Colleen came in on her day off last minute to save my hair, and she did an amazing job! I love my hair now. She strives to give the client the best experience and goes above and beyond past their expectations. Highly recommend this salon, and especially Colleen!!
