Mrs Rees is an amazing woman who is a true master of her craft. She did my hair and makeup for my wedding and was such a dream to work with, I cannot recommend her enough! Five stars just isn't enough, I wish I could give her a million. She made me feel feel so special - she gave me a level of attention that I would never have expected, truly going above and beyond - she stayed in touch with me the whole time leading up to my wedding via email. I had purchased a flower crown for my hair, but after my hair trial it became obvious that it wouldn't quite work with the style I'd picked out. So what did Mrs Rees do? She hand made me some custom hair pieces with flowers that matched my bouquet! She also worked magic on my mother-in-law's hair. It's extremley fine and straight - super difficult to style. Mrs Rees gave her the coolest vintage updo! It felt very '60 inspired but modern at the same time. The one thing that I was missing from my outfit was somehting blue... or so I thought. I decided not to fret about it, but it was on the back of my mind all evening. Long after the night hand ended and the guests gone home, I was sitting in bed pulling my hair down. I pulled out my large hair clip to find that it was blue. Mrs Rees is so thoughtful that I can't help but think that this was intentional. It's just her at the studio which makes for a really amazing experience. The focus is totally on you, and there is no typical 'salon noise' to yell over. Her studio is also adorable, everything is vintage - the chairs, the tables, the stations - even the juke box! There is so much to see, I spot something new every time I go. She always has retro music playing - on the morning of my wedding day she picked '50s love songs. Mrs Rees has obviously put so much though into the ambience / aesthetic, it makes for a really authentic and fun experience. Her rates are also extremley reasonable, a true steal for how much attention she gave to me. Mrs Rees is the real deal and I really can not recommend her enough. Her work is impeccable, her rates are affordable, her salon is cute as a botton, and her personality is so fun.

Mrs.Rees was very friendly and accommodating. I have severe chemical/perfume reactions and well the salon is not unscented she did do her best to accommodate me. My hair looks great and feels so much lighter. I really appreciate how much she went out of her way to try and accommodate. For anyone who does not suffer from severe environmental exposure. She has organic products, lightly scented. She has amazing decor and the environment is indulgent with a small gift shop boutique style, she does one on one so you are the center of her attention. I would highly recommend for a day of pampering.

Love Mrs Rees Vintage Parlour, you get Michelle undivided attention one on one. My hair is very very thick along with a double crown, my haircut is awesome. She listens to your ideas and suggests others, I’ve never been disappointed. I have some highlights in my hair which were painted on. Wow! Love it.
