I was here recently to have my hair and makeup done for a wedding. Presley was my hair stylist, and she did an AMAZING job. She took the time to ask me how I wanted it done, and gave me honest input on what she thought (in her professional opinion) would last longest for the very long day, photograph well, and compliment my face shape and dress style. The resulting style was beautiful, comfortable, and lasted all night - something that almost NEVER happens with my hair! Presley was friendly throughout the appointment, helping keep the wedding nerves at bay and keeping me cheery and relaxed. My makeup artist was Ashley H. I have to say, I was very nervous to have someone else do my makeup, as I am usually a bit of a perfectionist. She did the most beautiful job! She also explained to me what she was doing whenever I had questions. I have never had my makeup look so nice. I fully plan on going back to her next time I need my makeup done. I would trust her with my own wedding! Ashley was quiet during the makeup application - which was perfect, as every time I tried to speak I realized it was impeding my ability to keep my face still so she could work on it! I found her to be very friendly and comforting. Thanks to the Lemon Tree for their excellent work in making our bridal party look our absolute best on a big day!

I asked for a short cut with layers that I'd be able to pull back into a small ponytail, but was given harsh chunks that don't reach. I told her the length I wanted and showed photos of previous similar haircuts I'd been given, and she cut it and asked if I liked the length and I said yes, and then proceeded to say that the back needed to be shorter than the front (DUH) and then cut a good extra inch off the back. Literally have booked another haircut at a completely different place to get this fixed / livable.

The hair stylist was really nice but just did a really poor job with my cut. I went in for a hair cut and asked for it to be rounded at the bottom but she cut it straight across. So I phoned back the next day and expressed that I was unhappy about the shape of my hair and asked to come back in. The attached photos show the kind of job they did the second time around. They only allotted 15 mins to fix my hair before the stylist's next appointment and it felt like she was really rushing and it came out totally crooked. Definitely will not be back.

I was in the market for a new stylist and was referred to Paige at Lemon Tree. She's a bright effervescent stylist (albeit newer to her profession) and she spoke to me at length to try to understand how I liked to wear my hair. She gave me a great cut but it all went down hill from there. Because I have fine hair that is thinning at the front, she decided to use a combination of tinted hair fibre powder to give it fullness along with dry shampoo. The combo made my hair sticky and the weight made it droop - the finished style was abysmal. I was in and out of the salon in under 40 minutes - apparently she was not interested in spending the time styling my hair. Instead of looking polished my hairstyle looked greasy and laid flat with zero body. The receptionist, while friendly, interjected the word "Awesome" in every sentence - it nearly put me over the edge. I went straight home and washed my hair and never returned again.

From getting my hair shampooed with an amazing massage to the whole experience of getting my haircut and styled was amazing. I learned new tips for taking care of my hair. Great experience! I finally found a stylist in Saskatoon. I booked very last minute and asked for an experienced colorist. Elmi had me in and out in 2 hours which was v quick compared to many of my recent hair coloring experiences (my hair is super thick and doesn't take on color well) She listened to what I wanted and got me back to blonde! You can tell she loves what she does and is very good at it. Price was also very reasonable.

I’ve been going to the lemon tree for a couple of years now, and I love it! Kelsie is awesome, and always makes my hair look perfect! I also love that before I started getting the bright colours in my hair, she made sure I understood the change in care it would require, to make it look it’s best, for as long as possible! The five stars are for both the salon (it’s a great place with a wonderful atmosphere) and Kelsie (who is both talented at her job, and a great person)!

My son landed 10 min late for a 45 min slot . They charged him a no show fees and sent him back . His hair only takes 20 minutes . Very unprofessional and mean spirited . I’ll be returning the $150 gift certificate from there and not giving them business of three people .

Horrible experience. One of those haircuts that make you actually cry once you get home. DO NOT LET THEM THIN YOUR HAIR. Not only did they remove roughly half the thickness of my hair but they completely screwed up a very simple highlight job. They offered to fix it for free with one of their senior stylists...which I very specifically asked for in the first place!!! While the second stylist did manage to improve the colour a bit, I still had to go to a completely different salon to get what I wanted. It just turned into an incredibly expensive and time consuming process that SHOULD have been simple and straight forward. I would absolutely NOT recommend this salon.

I highly recommend coming to the Lemon Tree for a little pampering. They have an very welcoming and friendly staff dedicated to making you feel like a rock star. The salon is bright and clean with plenty of natural light. Kelsey is so extremely talented and I never leave disappointed in my hair. She is so creative and always looking for ways to improve and hone her skills. She is unbelievable with colours, and listens to what it is that you are looking for. If you just want something new but don't have an idea, she is incredible at coming up with a hip new look that suits your face and shape. I highly recommend.

Still not a cute color, the owner sent me home product to maintain my hair from going green as she said there's no way to prevent it at that point.....
