I've been here 3-4 usually pretty happy until the last visit. I've always considered going to the salon a relaxing time to pamper yourself. I ended up listening to my stylist complain about the government and how covid affected him. He did not wash my hair properly and just felt rushed like he was trying to get to the next person. I don't want to sound mean but it was my first haircut in 8 months and it was a terrible and depressing experience. I think the stylists are very talented but do need to step it up in the customer experience department. Sadly I will not be returning.

If you have a hard time trusting stylist, had those botched hair or have thick hair GO TO STEVEN!!! He is absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectation. With each stage in the cut, my hair just keeped looking better and better. I will go to no other salon or stylist but Mon Cheri and Steven. Thank you Steven for giving me my confidence back. Also, a huge thanks to your receptionist Jaclyn (I believe thats her name) for working around my busy schedule, this salon really does follow a "your satisfaction is their guarantee" attitude.

I was a little surprised about Mon Cheri Hair Salon considering I've lived in Toronto for over 5 years and have had many experiences with Toronto Salons/Spas. The staff and especially the salon/spa specialists were not only very friendly but they really listened to your needs and what you were looking for. I was offered deliciously fresh brewed coffee and even the store owner's very own freshly made bread - so good! I can't say I've ever been to a salon with those pluses. The commute from Toronto to Barrie is roughly 50 minutes, but in my opinion it is well worth the drive! I highly recommend Mon Cheri Hair Salon for any of your salon and spa needs! I will most definitely be going back to this salon in the very near future.

Just left my first visit with Steve and the great reviews are all true!! I came in with a bunch of dead ends and I’ve been without a proper hair cut for almost a year. He was able to keep my length and lighten up my heavy hair! For someone who has a bunch of anxiety dealing with new salons, I cannot say enough good things about Steve and the staff here. I felt welcome as soon as I walked in the door and was offered a coffee of tea (which was really good!) I was in and out in under and hour, which is almost unheard of at most salons. If you’ve had bad luck and are skeptical of getting your hair cut, come see Steve, you’ll leave happy and with healthy hair :)

I called Mon Cheri by accident, it proved to be the best mistake I’ve ever made. I ended up making an appointment for that same day. I have never in my 70 years been satisfied with any of my cuts from any place. My hair is very fine, the stylist Jennifer spent time with me to figure out what style of cuts would be good for the shape of my face & my hair texture. I received the best cut of my life, I got an awesome style that suits me & that I can handle. I will definitely be going back to see Jennifer, she gave me some tips on how to manage the cut as well. Very happy with my new look!

I absolutely LOVED my experience at Mon Cheri and can't say enough about how great my hair looks. Today I had my long hair coloured, highlighted and styled by Steven, and I am positively raving about the beautiful result. Steven really listened to my preferences and then used his artistry and skill to create an absolutely gorgeous result. The colour and highlights are even more attractive than I had envisioned, and the style is lovely. When I asked him, he also provided some valuable advice about thinning hair. His positive outlook and personality were a definite plus. I moved to Barrie about 8 months ago, and have been searching for a special hairstylist I could trust. I'm happy to say that search is now over! Thank you Steven and Mon Cheri.

Gregory did my hair and its exactly what I wanted!! He is so nice and easy to talk to so there was no awkward small talk, and he listened to everything I wanted. I got alot of my hair cut off so he made sure to ask me multiple times if it was what I liked and if he could change anything. I visited this salon for the first time after living in Barrie for almost 5 years. And after changing 5 different stylists I can finally say that I found a great one. Steven cut my hair and unlike other stylists before he really listened to what I wanted. I cut my hair in an "a-line graduated bob" and all I can say he did a great job. I would even consider him cutting my hair really short, which I've never done before since I've felt kind of anxious doing that before because I couldn't find a good stylist. I will definitely go back very soon. He's a very pleasant person and experienced at what he does. Thank you Steven.

The list is based on the following: Photo of your hair from the back What to expect from a stylist A deposit in order to book an appointment. Well, we have never experienced such service with a hair stylist and it seems like you trying to purchase or reserve a highly value items and not simply trying to get your hair done. In any case, if you are trying to be sophisticated with a new client to show that you are extremely professional, let me tell you that you ARE NOT AT ALL professional and complicated. You lost our business and most definitely our friends and family.
