I get my hair done by Jasmine and always love the outcome. I can go in and tell her what I want and am always a happy customer when I leave. The salon has a nice urban feel to it and they carry the complete line of Kevin Murphy hair products (plumping line works great!)

He always does a great job, he has an amazing sense of style, the price is reasonable and he is an all around nice guy. He cuts my husband's hair as well as my teenage son and daughter's hair. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for anything from a full head of highlights to a quick trim for the kids!

Not only do you get fantastic treatment and exactly what you want for style or pampering, but you are in an amazing atmosphere with friendly staff who are so up beat. John's new location is convenient and so beautifully finished, the time you spend there will make you happy that you treated yourself to the salon/spa experiance you so definately deserve. I had been looking for a new hairdresser for a while, and contacted John via Facebook .....I was overseas at the time. I received a prompt reply which for me was such a positive sign. Love them here but they over charge for a simply hair trim. The hairdresser said, "second I take my scissors out, it's a $50.00 charge". That was not the agreement or even my decision. I felt very taken advantage of because we are so friendly together.

John Linkert Salon is just as fabulous in the inside as it looks from the outside. It is located right downtown, steps away from convenient city parking. When I arrived I was offered coffee, slippers and a tablet to read magazines while I waited for my appointment. John was professional, clearly passionate about his work, very personable and attentive. His tools and techniques are state of the art and there is an atmosphere of relaxation and elegance that put me right at ease. I highly recommend the salon. I will be returning!

Tried this salon for the first time and could NOT be happier with the results (colour, highlites, lowlights/blowdry). Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Offered me tea (ended up drinking two delicious cups) and even shared their pizza with me! Reasonable prices and top-notch service. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars, I would!

I just had my first colour service at John's salon with Alison and I have to say I was not disappointed. I have been a long time client of another salon and recently decided to try JLS because of their use of the amazing Kevin Murphy products and I can't believe I haven't been in sooner. The atmosphere and level of professionalism far exceeded my expectations. There are no egos here (although they definitely have the skills to back them up) from the moment I walked into the salon I felt welcome and valued (that is rare these days). All of the stylists have no problem collaborating with one another to ensure that YOU feel your best and leave happy. This is a salon that tries and succeeds to all at once create a luxurious and welcoming experience. I will definitely be making John Linkert Salon my go to, and you should too!

Where do you start when it comes to leaving an AMAZING Review?!? I would give the salon 10/10 stars if I could. From when you first walk in the door of a GORGEOUS victorian building to the smiling staff there welcoming you & taking your coat. Truly ladies; its a place of relaxation; superior talent & most of all a no judgement zone.. Imagine.. A salon that doesnt gossip?!! All of the stylists are very knowledgeable especially when it comes to reccomending the best products for your hair! All I have to say is Kevin Murphy products; you MUST try them!
