I moved to the island last year and was hoping to find a salon that prioritized clean beauty and was committed to the environment. PLUS, I wanted to find a stylist that would make my hair look and feel its best. Well, I DID! I have now been to Natural Evolution 4 times and each time, ML has worked her magic! I absolutely LOVE the way she cuts and colours my hair, allowing my natural grey to be used as highlights (who knew this could be a thing??!! It has changed my LIFE!) and since Covid, the precautions they are taking at the salon make everyone feel so safe + secure. Highly, highly recommend the salon and of course ML. And I appreciate that they are a Sustainable Salon ( 85-90 percent of their waste is recycled or repurposed and kept out of landfills and waterways) Great vibe you will not be disappointed !

If you’re looking for a new stylist, I’d highly recommend ML at Natural Evolution. She’s a good listener with terrific ideas to keep your cut looking cute and current. I have short hair but she also does a good job with my friends who have longer hair. Her technical skills as a colourist are superb with techniques I haven’t seen since my hair went grey 10 years ago. The salon itself is taking every precaution to keep its clients safe during the pandemic with physical distancing, mandatory mask wearing, hand sanitizer, and more. I feel very safe when I visit and have 100% trust in ML to make me look great.

I cannot rave enough about Shelina! I came in with dead hair (poorly bleached before by my own mistakes), and asked her to fix it and add dimension. And add dimension she did! She took care of my dead ends, added layers, and gave helpful product recommendations. Great conversations and customer service. Highly recommend :)

Autum Lestage is the owner operator of this great salon. She strives for a great balance between beauty and taking care of the planet with natural products. I am a retired hairstylist so I know the difference between a good cut and a bad one. Autumn is very skilled at her craft. Covid hit her salon bottom line really hard. It was my first time here and I was greeted with a big, friendly warm welcome from the owner herself! The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful to walk into as well. So inviting and peaceful. Feels like an earthy spa. My hair stylist was ML and she was SO lovely. She listened to exactly what I wanted and even suggested some things that I loved! I have psoriasis and she was very gentle even though it didn't bother me. From what I saw of the other stylists they were all very enaging and super sweet! Yesterday was my first cut since before Covid-19. I’ve been cautious about going back to a salon but it was long overdue. I was super impressed with how the salon has incorporated all safety guidelines (beyond expectations!), without compromising the amazing atmosphere and experience of this high quality salon. The spaciousness, as well as the personalized welcome and attention to sanitation was outstanding. What was best though, was the attention ML gave to listening, responding and suggesting so that I walked out feeling relaxed, refreshed and with an amazing cut. Perfect cut! Great experience!

In this time of our Covid pandemic, this salon goes above and beyond exceeding all guidelines. Mandatory face masks with stylists wearing face shields when shampooing hair, all stations including sinks antiseptically cleaned after each client, one entrance door, another exit door, stylists more than 6 feet apart. So you don’t only feel extremely safe, but you walk out with an awesome cut, color and style. Well done staff.

I have curly hair that is difficult to cut and was so impressed with cut and colour I received! My stylist was so professional, great conversation and I had a really yummy tea while waiting! This is the third time I have been to this salon. I love that they use green products and are very professional. It's a lovely modern salon and I like that the stylists communicate well with their clients on what they are expecting and want. My stylists name is ML. She understands the art of her trade very well. I have short hair and she does not use clippers! Instead she uses scissors and razor blade to cut my hair. It's the best hair cut I've had in 20 plus years. I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for an excellent cut. All the stylists are very professional!
