So happy I finally found a salon I love! The staff at this super cute salon are amazing and so much fun, I felt like I was just hanging out with my friends for 2 hours. Shaun is hilarious and super knowledgable & passionate about what he does, he was also upfront with me about what I could expect with my hair prior to him starting which I really appreciated. Shaun's depth of knowledge is invaluable as I go through this journey in bringing back healthy hair. He treated it and treated it again to rejuvinate the integrity of my hair. He bought my colour to natural. He advised me about colouring and offered a long term plan. I couldn't be in better hands. Lolo's staff were accommodating. I received a great tip for generating new growth and even a lovely cup of tea :) Thanks!

I have been seeing Tommy for a few months now, and boy am I happy I switched to him. He was recommended to me by a co-worker (after I asked why his hair always looks so good). The fade is perfect every time, and he cuts it to the look I want every time. Perfect and consistent. Great vibe inside and great location. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing experience with Megan. She's a junior stylist but don't let that fool you. She was attentive to my needs/request (I have difficult hair because it's very thin, and I was pretty specific about what I wanted), knowledgeable, and super meticulous even though I was the last appointment in her work day. When I did my hair at home for the first time, it fell in place perfectly. To me, that's indicative of a quality hair cut - when it looks just as good as when you walk out of the salon. Definitely going back to see Megan, and totally recommend her.

I bought a Groupon for this place and I'll admit I was nervous to go after discovering these reviews the day of my appointment (they don't show up in the Google search for some reason, so I didn't know when I was buying the groupon). Luckily, I had a good experience and will probably go back if I can make it up to North Van again sometime, if they keep their promotions on similarly. My hairdresser, Danielle, was great. She understood how anxious I was to get my hair cut shorter and talked through what she was doing so I wouldn't freak out about the length, and I like that she styled my hair so that my usually-poofy hair isn't so poofy, even after showering and washing the products out. I also REALLY appreciated that she didn't try to sell/push products on me like a lot of hair salons usually do. I explained that i'm low maintenance with my hair so she understood and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. The lady at the desk was also friendly and offered me tea while I waited for my appointment. My only recommendation for the salon would be to somehow make the place seem less cluttered....there's just so much stuff and so many people in one room and it feels a little claustrophobic, especially with all the shelves of products around the walls. A more open, wider environment (with more fresh air or air conditioning) could really help out. I didn't try any of the other services like waxing or nails or colouring, but I was quite happy with my hairstyle and cut and would highly recommend Danielle if you are unsure of who to request, she knows what she is doing.

I am so grateful to have found LoLo Hair Salon! Convenient location, well appointed and comfortable setting, with fantastic and well priced services. Jenn Foster was superb! My hair is quite thick, wavy and long which can be a challenge to cut well. Jenn expertly trimmed and layered my overly lengthy and heavy hair, giving me a very professional and refreshing look for my return to work. Bonus - she gave me the best head massage I have ever had! Thank you Jenn! I will be back. :-)

WORST experience. DO NOT GET A STRAIGTENING treatment done here. Not only is my hair EXTREMELY damaged but it changed my color to orange. No follow up call, email or anything from the owner. No compensation. NOTHING. I would never recommend this salon to anyone and I would use extreme caution when getting any hair services here. The staff are not knowledgeable at all. Poor customer service

Great service, great staff, very personable and they do always do my highlights just as I like. I feel like they are family now. I've been going for the past 2 years. At LoLo's their is no nail service just hair! The reviews for Mani/Pedi were when the salon was Katwalk under another management.

Not impressed with this salon at all. Had booked a consultation with Tommy about having my hair dyed weeks prior. When I arrived he was busy with another client and I was told it would just be a few minutes. 25 minutes later I had to ask when I would be seen and that I needed to leave for work soon. Tommy came up to me but seemed very annoyed that I had even booked a consultation. When talking with him he was quite rude and overpriced the service by a few hundred dollars saying it would be $700+ to have my hair dyed. My shoulder length light brown hair dyed. Other salons has only quoted me $200. On top of all of this he said the colour wasn’t “my look” and there was a very negative vibe throughout the entire conversation he obviously just didn’t want to do it and he could have been more professional about it.

Elaina is the best stylist I have ever been to, and I've been to a lot. Im picky with my blond, and every time she just perfects exactly the blond Im wanting. Her beaded extensions blend so perfectly with how she installs them, colours and cuts them. my hair is naturally baby fine, but I'm still able to have a full long head of hair that blends like magic. And her head massages are theeee best!!

Staff are rude and unprofessional. Bought a Groupon and was completely ripped off on the services. Was promised a "take home kit valued at $70" and got a couple bottles of hotel sized shampoo. Icing on the cake - when I first arrived for my appointment, the receptionist waited 15 minutes before advising me that my stylist wasn't even there. No show. I had to reschedule!! I should have walked away then. Final words of caution - read the Google Reviews before giving this salon a chance. Wish I had. Too many people have walked away with an awful customer experience.

I REALLY LIKE THIS PLACE! The people are friendly and I always leave happy with their work. It really bothers me when people will go out of their way to talk negatifve about a place...but be anonymous...that is pretty pathetic.....get a backbone people...put your name on it! Great salon, been going for a few years, get nails, pedicures, hair cut...waxing...one stop shop. Always treated with a smile and coffee! :) They are awesome!! I would recommend this place to anyone. GREAT PLACE!

Leanna did a great job with my foils and cut, exactly what I asked is what I received, on my first visit. My second visit was not positive. It took me weeks to get in because she had gone to Mexico and then had to quarantine. The appointment was delayed more than a half an hour and then it seemed she was in a rush. My haircut was extremely uneven with random short and long parts I couldn't hide with styling. When I tried to approach the salon privately on Insta DM it has been weeks and they haven't responded to my concerns and photos, despite commenting on photos to check their messages. I have since found a new salon that uses vegan, cruelty-Free products instead of products with actual milk protein in them. My first visit took hours and extra money to correct the color and cut issues from LoLo. I was told by three separate hair stylists that the Milkshake line they use is very low end.
