So so happy with my hair cut . I just moved here and was super worried about anyone else touching my hair. Well I’m in love ! She did an amazing job. Very cool space, they built it by hand. You can feel the love coming from the walls. Beautiful spot.

Samantha is that rare and special individual who deeply cares about her clients and in addition is a true artist when it comes to hair. Her salon is beyond beautiful! Its sophisticated, raw, sleek beauty makes the experience all the more special. I had been coloring my hair on my own the last 10 months due to Covid and I needed a major hair color correction and a good cut. Samantha brought my hair back to life. I love it! I'm excited about the plans she has to make it even healthier and more natural looking. She's innovative , creative, warm and charismatic. And to top it all off, her products smell amazing!

Probably one of the most fun hair care experiences I've had. Such an INCREDIBLY beautiful salon, and Samantha's kooky and caring energy made me feel super welcome and at ease. Although I live out of province Samantha was able to travel to my wedding location, do a trial and did an awesome job on my wedding day. I had an incredible experience at Hemp House Salon. Samantha went out of her way not only to fit me into her packed schedule during Covid-19, but gave me some expert guidance on colouring with growing out greys as a brunette. Samantha is so warm and charming and has an incredible knack for communication, and also when to give time to rest and enjoy the beautiful space she has created! I have tried voice mail & email to contact them. They never responded to either of my requests. I asked them about medium length hair & got ghosted by them. Apparently you need to have short or long hair but nothing in between to even be acknowledged by this new bunch (a 30 yr Salt Springer).

While the salon was lovely, the results were not what I was hoping for. I had read the reviews and felt comfortable trusting my hair to this salon, after over a year without a cut I felt this would be a great treat...it was not. when I left the salon my hair was still wet and getting bigger and frizzier by the minute. I had explained to the stylist that my hair is thick and has a tendency to get big and frizzy if not properly styled. It was so bad I had to go home and fix it before I could go out in public. No brush was used with the blow dry which just made my hair bigger, frizzier. Also, my bangs were jagged and I had to trim them again myself at home. I spent approximately 35 minutes in the salon and was told before she even washed my hair that if I wanted my hair straightened it would cost extra above the $90+ dollars for the haircut.

not only is this the most beautiful space to spend time in .....I don't think there is another salon on the planet that was more lovingly designed and built and it shows but Samantha is also a very talented stylist and gives you the very best experience possible so many personal touches you leave feeling pretty special . Great hair cuts and gorgeous salon with amazing products. Happy happy happy. They totally fixed my hair after some very bad cuts elsewhere and I've been going back ever since. I also suffer from a very sensitive scalp and tried dozens of products over the years with little success. I was recommended a Davines shampoo and conditioner and it changed my hair life! Now I have back my sleek, tangle-free, healthy hair with no itching and burning. The hempcrete salon is so cool and worth a visit to see the eco-friendly building and creative space.
