My experience was amazing. First time coming here, staff was very friendly and worked with me to choose a hairstyle I'd like. The app said I had a 20min wait. When I walked in the wait time was about 15 which was even better. Will be returning again.

Their Check In app is a time saver. All you have to do is check in and it gives you an estimated wait time so you can do what you need to do and head to salon about 10 mins before your appointment. No more sitting and waiting for long periods of time. I would also like to add that all staff are super friendly and no matter who you get, you always walk out with a great hair cut.

Like the online checkin and the fact that you can save the details from your previous haircuts so they stylist already knows what you want. Some stylists are good others make a few mistakes like giving me uneven sideburns. Most are pretty good and the facility was clean and ensured the safety of customers during this pandemic

The orchard park great clips is pathetic. I have sat there while there is 5 people waiting and the stylists avoid the next customer like the plague. This is the worst haircutting joint I have ever been to. I won't call it a salon as it is not. Unbelievably terrible customer service. It is difficult to understand as the other geart clips are good and this one is a joke. They need a lesson in customer service

Great Clips is okay if you just want a quick cut. The price is right but the quality tends to be hit and miss because you rarely have the same stylist twice. If you find someone who gives you a good cut, I suppose you could get their name and then find out when they work. One thing that I do really like is the online booking. You can check on the wait time and put your name on the list so you don't have as long a wait when you get there.

I like that you can book a haircut using their app which saves time. Great for cheap haircuts if you get the experienced stylist. I am happy to have found a great lady to cut my hair there. I don't recommend getting your hair blow dried there as the price is the same as other salon ($40 for shoulder lenght plus tip ) and the result might be below expectations, as it was my case.

Went last night at 7:25 did online check in, my 5 year old just put on a new mask and coughed a bit as he didn't like the smell. The stylist got very nasty and said she can deny him entry based in him coughing. I explained its from the mask, she continued to be nasty in body language etc....she was very stern with him when he even touched his mask, she was also angry that he was busy, touching stuff etc. I get it may have been a long day etc.....however she knows us as she has been cutting his hair for years. This pandemic has really brought about people exposing there true selves. Sadly we wont be coming back ever.

Great liars. I had my haircut today and handed a coupon to the lady who did my hair cut. She said she could't accept the coupon, because I got it from Hamilton Great clips. So the coupon is only applicable in Hamilton. I made the original payment. "WhatTheFun". I have never done a hair cut in Hamilton. According to their records, I had my last hair cut 6 weeks ago in Brantford, and the same lady did the hair cut, she gave me the slip of 4 coupons. Once she checked her computer, said, Oh.. you did the last hair cut here, but you must have got the coupon by mail from somewhere. WHAT?HOW? You gave me the coupon lady. 100% sure. I am offering the lady $10,000 if she can prove I got it from somewhere else. Check the cameras if you want. How can she lie like that.

Stopped in as a walk-in client today and got in right away. As I was getting my hair done, a rather disruptive woman came in and was making all the staff and clients rather uncomfortable. I just wanted to say that the staff handled the situation very professionally considering there was not a manager present. Though I felt a little worried I knew it would be taken care of by the staff. Though I am already a returning customer, I will still continue to get my hair cut at this location for the hair cut itself was done very well too! Great job everyone!

I got my hair trimmed a couple days ago and Susy did such a nice job! Love how my hair is feeling and looking. She gave me time to tell her some background about my hair and to describe what I was looking for. She really listened cause it's perfect. I'm so excited to grow my hair out a few inches longer and keep returning to this location to have my hair goals met! She was also very pleasant to talk to and she listened when I spoke. You'd be surprised how many hairdressers ask me something and then cut me off when I'm speaking back to them- but not her! It's very nice to have a conversation with such a sweet person. Upon paying I also asked for a lightweight leave in product since my hair tends to feel heavy with serums. She showed me a few and showed me one she personally uses and likes so I took her word for it. Very nice product! I look forward to seeing Susan again!

I use to go to the Glenmore Great Clips and got wonderful service. However, the two times I’ve been here have been the worst experiences with service I’ve ever had. As far as the most recent experience, I signed in online and came in on time. I didn’t wait too long to be served. I sat down and told them I wanted a point cut with as much texture as possible. The hairdresser asked if I used products, which I replied “some of the time”. She said “What’s the point of getting a textured cut then” and gave me a snarky look. I just stood up and left. If the customer knows what they want, then give them what they want. The other experience was worse, but I I’m going to skip that story. Horrible place, don’t go there.

IF THERE WAS A NO STAR OPTION THAT WOULD BE MY PICK! I went in for a cut about 5 - 7 inches to get dead ends off and I had long hair down to my waist I’m 5’6 ( it was about just over 2 feet long ), I now have hair that sits just below my shoulder not what I asked for and I was not okay with how it was cut I told her the length she was allowed to cut and she waited until she was behind my back and chopped it all off! To say I’m mad is an understatement! I had grown my hair for 6 years. Now it’s so short and ugly she didn’t even listen to my request of not cutting it bluntly across, which does not suit me I would know! This was such a poor experience and I won’t ever cut my hair here again.

I went to this terrible place for a tiny trim! I'm talking half an inch and the lady says "yeah for sure tiniest trim possible" she sits me down and I can just see her chopping away inches!!!! Went there to get a trim and layers. Asked her a trim and I told her the type of layers I wanted, I got scoffed at, and she did her thing. You couldn’t even tell a difference, split ends we’re still there after I told her to get rid of them, and absolutely no layers were put it, still the same length all around, I checked. And $20 for literally just a cm taken off the ends?! What a rip off, i want my money back, I could’ve done the cut myself, the process with 2 minuets long and then done. Didn’t help that she was so so snotty and got even worse when I didn’t tip her.

I'm a newbie in Brantford. For last couple of months I was trying hair cut here and there. Tried both cheap and expensive. But the quick and amazing experience with Great Clips was really appreciable. Sussy (?) was my hair dresser and took great care of my style. Three things I prefer at Great Clips, online appointment, serving even on holidays and keeping a record of my style so that next time I don't have to go through all the details of my preferred hair style. Moreover they didn't forget to give me a handful of coupons for my next visits. The seating area could've been improved.

My sister got a haircut on Wednesday afternoon from a woman who obviously had no idea what she was doing.. the worst haircut I have ever seen. First she cut my sister's hair(long and wavey thick hair) DRY!!! she literally walked out of that place with her bangs( which she never asked for) sticking straight out from her head!! Will never understand why anyone would ever let someone walk out of their place of business looking like she had just been electrocuted. THE ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE TO GET HAIRCUT.

You can use this website to see how busy a location is. You can sign in before going there and check in when you get there. You always have an idea how long before your cut. I like it so I don't have to sit there and wait forever not knowing how long it will take.

After hearing that Great Clips refused service to a disabled man because he was unable to wear a mask, I will NEVER go there. The staff wear a mask. Don't they work? What a joke! The scamdemic has people thinking two people need a mask. The client went to a different company and received a haircut with no mask and no hassle. Boycott this company in the Okanagen.

Took my 11 month old for a hair cut. Was turned down because he needed to wear a mask for the cut. They didn’t have any mask to provide babies. Put a mask on him, and he took it off. They said if he takes it off at any time during the cut, the cut will end and I will have to pay . Ridiculous, how can a 1 year old not touch a mask?

Wow! If only there was a no star option I would have selected that one. Never has my wife been made to feel like such an inconvenience and bother then the experience she had today. She used the online check in feature online, and arrived about 4:10. Then saw the holiday hours posted on the door - closing at 5. Rather then simply explaining that holiday hours were in effect they decided to, but not wanting to, take my wife's appointment. Upon seeing the photo of the style my wife wanted - The stylist said "oh, um I need to check this." When she came back my wife asked if it was a matter of money - and she would be willing to pay for a full style/cut if that was the issue. The stylist explained that the amount of cutting my wife wanted done, was more than the little amount they charge. My wife asked if she should reschedule, stylist said "no, I just won't be getting any more clients today" Mentioned not once but twice. She continuously commented about how much hair my wife had throughout the cut and said she would leave it longer to see how it looked. My wife repeatedly asked for a pixie/pageboy. And asked again if she should reschedule. At about 10 minutes to 5, the staff member cleaning up walked throughout the salon and announced how they 'would NOT be accepting any new clients' and ' it's only 10 to? God! I thought it was 10 to 15 mins ago!' 'Stylist! You keep throwing more hair my way!' (All said in a joking manner I would assume) My wife sat there and felt more and more uncomfortable. After being told again how much longer she should have had for this cut, and as The stylist started to speed up the cut- my wife accepted it at the length it was, paid and left. Embarrassed. It truly was experience that has tarnished Great Clips. Never again will they have our family's business and none of our friends. Unprofessional and made my wife feel like she should have found a solution to a problem she didn't even know about.

Consistently after 3 visits in past 1 year the worst haircuts I have received anywhere. Location is convenient, nothing else good to say. Covid is a great excuse to do the absolute minimum. Basic man hair cut instructions: sides and back #2, blend in the top, take off 1/2". Randomly skins me from ear to ear with a #1.Thanks!!!!!!!!!

This is a great place to get an affordable haircut. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating with just the right mix of chatting / letting you relax. The computer system also saves your haircut preferences so if you have trouble describing what you like, the hair dresser will save your haircut for you in language that other hairdressers will read and understand. Though they don't have all of the comforts of a salon, I highly recommend this place for a nice haircut.

Lovely establishment and have never had an issue. Just with trying to use the online booking it said I was to have an appointment and showed up early waiting to receive a text message to arrive in 15 minutes but never received it. Kindly asked if they were proceeding to continue the list after closing just to have an idea of what I was going to do and I was told after 8 the list is obsolete. Now no fault of theirs, it is busy with reopening just this week, but also would have been nice to receive a message saying they didn’t think they were going to get my haircut done this evening, just as a tip for further use of the online booking

I am very disappointed. Actually I'm quite angry. I normally get my hair cut by a girl at the Glenmore location as she is great and always does a good job. But I've been to the Cooper road location twice to get what i thought was a simple "touch up" cut. Both times, two different hair dressers, and absolutely brutal butcher hair cuts. The first time, I had to go to a different hair dresser immediately after to get it fixed as I couldn't bare to watch the girl ruin my hair any longer. Today was the second time with a different hair dresser and I wish i could show you a picture because she basically shaved the corner off the side of my head. I tried to point it out to her, she then made it far worse in an attempt to fix it. I never complain, I have NEVER written a negative review in my life, but this is so un believably frustrating as what the heck am I supposed to do with the corner of my head shaved? Over all I found this location to be extremely un professional for more reasons than more poor hair cut.

I felt so uncomfortable and she made it so awkward that I just walked right out. If you want people to come to your business and give you money for a service you should make them feel welcome and comfortable which was the exact opposite of how you made me feel today

My poor daughter. I brought her in last night and she received a very rushed cut that completely missed the mark. It was not a standard choice of hairstyle and perhaps the stylist wasn't up to date on more modern looks, but we will have to go get it fixed elsewhere. She was so excited that I finally let her have her cut of choice and it ended in disappointment.

Have gone many times...the online check in when it works is a huge draw for me. However not sure I will be back. The last couple of visits we have had about 6 people hair cut and none were done as asked. My daughters we very choppy and uneven...and MUCH shorter than requested. One of the staff had said she would chop a considerable bit of my special needs four year old hair "until she could do it herself" I reiterated that I just wanted a slight trim, motioned with my hands and still had inches taken off. My other daughters hair is thick and a stylist said she accidentally broke her comb while combing it out and so took it upon herself to thin it a lot (without asking) as well as to cut it short enough that it is challenging to put up even when we were clear she was growing it out. When I go for a haircut, or my spouse or 6 children...I would like input from a stylist, but not to have them ignore requests :(

Friendly staff, walkins or online sign in avail. & if you find a hairdresser you really like you can request them next time so you don't have ro be stuck w/ someone different everytime if that's not your thing. Oh, did I mention the price!? Damn, under $18 after tax & my hairstyle is just as good as the $45 "hairstylist" jobbies I used to pay for. As a student I am saving money & time; I can wash my own hair, thankyou, show up, done in 20min & w/ plenty of time saved for all that studying I'm suppossed to do ;)

Don’t waste your time and money going here. Felt like I was being rushed out of my chair. The guy cutting my hair had to leave and check people in twice while doing my hair. I've come here a few times for haircuts. They provide good haircuts and when I don't exactly know what I want, they're happy to provide suggestions and options. The staff are extremely friendly, they offer occasional coupons (which is when I typically come here), it's got good parking and is in a nice area. Layout inside is nice too, enough seating. I can't find anything to complain about for Great Clips.

Got a haircut here today and when I got home I noticed one side was significantly shorter than the other. The hairstyle I wanted was not even close to the one dipicted in the photo and the girl was quite rude and judgemental towards her coworkers. I visited the salon to change my hairstyle. The guy who had me sitting in the chair was rude. As I swept up my hair with my hand to explain what hairstyle I wanted, he pushed down my hand frowning at me. He said to me “Try not to use products on your hair when you come to get your hair cut.” It’s not that I got out of my house just for the salon. I had meetings and appointments that I couldn’t attend with messy hair. He could have asked me if I wanted to get my hair shampooed first. He asked me what products I use, I told him I used pomade. He snorted saying it doesn’t have any hold. I DO know it doesn’t. I was going to use hairdryer, wax and hairspray for styling after I get a new haircut that I want. He patronized me as if I didn’t know about my hair. Rather than mentioning my hair’s spikiness, he asked “what happens when your hair is short?” He didn’t even need to ask me that because he already knew that I have spiky hair and that’s why he had asked me what products I used and snorted when I said I use pomade. I decided not to get my hair cut here, and I left. The name of this account is not what I used to check in at the salon. The same feedback was sent to Great Clips via its website.

I used to be a regular customer. The hairdressers are wonderful with my autisic child. I stopped going because of the manager Marcia. She does nothing but complain and yell and be nasty with the other girls in the salon and she isn’t great with the customers either. I thought we would try it again because the young girls were always awesome with my son. I walked it was pretty busy and I didn’t even get checked in and that woman came out of back room ranting and telling off one of the stylists in front of other employees and customers the poor girl had tears in her eyes. She makes everyone uncomfortable. I turned around walked and won’t be back as long as that woman is there and I will be telling anyone with kids to move on to anoither place.

My husband just got the worst haircut I have ever seen!!! One side looks good and the other side was shaved military short to the part line. It's incredibly bad and embarrassing. It will take months to grow this out and look decent. Wish I could post a picture as it really has to be seen to be understood how bad it is. Like two different hair cuts. Zero stars. Negative 10 stars!!! :(. (update, two months later (December 1) and he still has to wear a hat because it hasn't grown out enough to pass as acceptable. ). Don't risk it people. Spend a couple of extra bucks at a real hair professional!!!)

Very professional environment that's treating COVID-19 like...an actual pandemic! They are required to wear masks, have hand sanitizer and it was easy to get a hair cut yet they still maintained social distancing. They'll even give you face masks if you don't have one (for a price)

A huge shout out for Tedd and Angela .... As the saloon opened after long time becaise of covid there were wait times of 180+ mins ... i checked in at about 6 however didnt got my turn until 8 and they close at 8pm... As soon as they closed the drop i knocked and explained them my situation... Without asking any more information , they took me in even after they were done... Got the hairstyling done and Tedd who was performing my hairstyle was in no rush at all. Angela on the other side helped Tedd doing cleaning for his portion. Great team effort there. They definitely know how to treat a cx and adds value to their experience.... Loved it. This is the reason why i always go at this location only.

Its nice that you can schedule an appointment so you don't have to wait and wait. That being said, not all of the hairstylists are of the same capability and while they keep 'clip notes' to remember what you got done last time, I haven't found the end result to always be the same.
