Despite confirming my appointment via text response and a phone call (less than 24 hours before), the stylist I booked with was not at the salon when I showed up so I was taken by another stylist instead. It was very uncomfortable, I felt like I was an inconvenience and potentially running in to his time he had booked for other clients. It felt rushed, I had to ask for my hair to be washed, though I booked for a wash/cut/style. There was almost no communication during the entire cut and I sat in uncomfortable silence. In the end the style was not what I asked for, there aren't many layers in the back of my hair (where I couldn't see until I was home since I wasn't shown anything with an extra mirror while there like most salons offer) and the length isn't what I had wanted. My hair frames my face, but not when it's up like I had tried to say I wanted when showing pictures of my previous hairstyles. It was a very disappointing experience. I don't think I will return.

Is my first time going to G salon and I will absolutely return!. Ricky took care of me, his service was amazing since I entered to the salon, even though he was with another customer. I feel like he did magic on my hair, now it is soft and shiny. I totally recommend Ricky, he is very professional and super friendly.

My first time at G Salon was a 10/10 experience! The staff are extremely charismatic and make you feel welcome. I would highly recommend this hair studio to anyone looking for hair styling or colouring!! The owner did an ~amazing~ job with the blending. Also, when I accidentally left my book at the Salon, they arranged to have it dropped off at my house. They really go above and beyond for their clients. Special shoutout to Gee and Erick for a great experience!

I had the same style mens cut for almost two decades. When I first visited Gee I told him what I wanted. He sized up my head and my hair and told me he could do better. I gave him a shot and was blown away. My hair has been so much better since. This is my favourite salon in the city.

I rarely, rarely write reviews but I feel compelled to write about this Salon. I had the most amazing experience with Kay. I’m very picky about my hair since I hadn't have a short hair for a very long time. And Voila! My hair feels great and I get compliments on my cut and colour all of the time. I feel fortunate to have found him as I, literally spent years looking for someone as capable and competent as he has so successfully proven to be. Kay is very knowledgeable and used only the best products. Highly recommend Kay and this salon. Worth the price! - Manielyn V.
