I've been Nina's client and friend since 2007, all these years she's been cutting, dying, and styling my hair and my children's. Always amazing!! In these years I've seen the progression in Nina's career, she never stops learning and keeping her skills up to date, always improving and going with the new advances not only in styling but in product selection and trends. She takes good care of the products that she uses, and always makes sure that you have a great experience not only for the end results but while you're at the salon. She gives the best head massages ;) and makes sure that you're comfortable and you have a nice "spa like" experience. She bought and brought me lunch once while my hair was being dyed!! she's just amazing! So happy with the new location, the salon is so modern, clean and gorgeous. My kids bring their ipads and play while I get my hair done, I do the same, while they have theirs done lol. Love the experience at Tiare!

It was my first time in this salon. A friend recommended it to me and I was really excited but the result was not what I wanted. I asked for a subtle balayage , like sunkissed, very natural. I ended up having a brassy blonde all over ( from the middle to the tips) you could not appreciate highlights and it was definitely too blonde for me. They said I could come back for a toner ( at no cost) I came back a few days later and had the toner but then my hair looked pretty much like before but with a reddish tone. I came back again a few days later ( for a hairdo) and told her I was frustrated with the colour and she said it would hopefully fade away with the washes. The toner is starting to fade but my hair does not look nice, it does not look like I had a balayage and I regret spending almost 200 $ because I will have to go somewhere else to get it fixed. I have to say that the girl was really nice but I am not happy with my hair and would not come back, which I regret because it is very close to me.... ***UPDATE*** The salon called me to try to fix my hair, however, the owner tried to excuse the stylist saying it was a "misunderstanding". I brought a picture but it was not a matter of getting the right tone but rather that it was overdone, burnt, orangey and not a baylage. It was very bizarre beacuse without having seen me, she asumed my ethnicity because of my accent and then she tried to put that as an excuse saying :..."spanish people have an orange undertone, I am Asian and I need to bleach my hair several times to get the colour thta I want.." I just can't believe she made such statement and I have never been in a salon where I need to be bleached several times to get the tone that I want" it was really upsetting and out of place. I was completely outraged. I think that for 200 $ and considering it was a "senior" stylist, you can figure it out. The comment was totally unnecessary and rude. I went to another salon to get it fixed and they also realized that the haircut was longer on the back. This was really interesting because Taylor said my hair was longer at the back...but did not do anything about it? I'm most disappointed in the lack of professionality and appalling customer service of this salon. Be aware! Bring your ancestry report with you so that they can figure out how many times to bleach your hair! Definitely not going back and I would give 0 stars if I could. ***UPDATE 2*** Kole, the owner's husband had the audacity to call me yelling and completely out of it , threatening to sue me if I did not remove the review. Totally inappropriate and making it worse. Of course I'm not changing or removing my review!!!

Yesterday was my first time there and got a bob haircut. The stylist Bre is so patient to go through the pictures that I like and explained how would they fit for me and listened to what I want, then made recommendation. It turns out to exactly what and how I want it! All the stylists there are so professional and friendly! I really like the atmosphere, it is clean, followed COVID guidelines and very comfortable there. Price is reasonable with the service they are providing. Really happy that finally found a stylist/place I really like!! Highly recommended!!

I have been going to Larissa for years now; for color, cuts, extensions and more. She is amazingly talented and does exactly what you ask of her, while giving honest and realistic responses to any inquiry. She doesn't push product or try to upsell, like many other stylist do. Tiara Salon is in a fairly new building, that's clean and welcoming. Their prices are reasonable and the staff is always friendly. I would definitely recommend Larissa and Tiara Salon to anyone.

Debated not leaving a review, but I read reviews and wish I'd seen something about their pricing in their reviews before going. I got a trim here, to try out a new hairdresser (I'm new to town) before getting any colouring done. A *trim* costs $68 ???? before a tip. If you're looking for good service no matter the price, then this place is perfect for you. I always try a new place out with a trim to get to know the hairdresser, and I expected to pay around $50 but holy smokes.... If just a trim costs $68 I don't want to even think about the price of their other services. My advice - don't go here for absolutely anything without confirming the price beforehand. But, good service and no complaints otherwise. Not worth their prices though.

I recommend Maria. She is a gentle stylist who makes you feel calm and at ease. Her voice is delicate and her movements calm and graceful to be around. For me that is really important. She has been doing my hair for 5-7 years, always a great cut, always a great colour and always a great time. As a stylist she is authentic which goes a long way. Full disclosure, I am her big sister. But as anyone with siblings know, we can be one another's harshest critic and strongest advocate. The first time I came here, I booked with Larissa who did an amazing job on my hair. She gave me even baby lights all over and asked me questions on what I wanted to achieve. I booked second round a week a go to go lighter and get a root touch up and Larissa was not in the day I was open so I gambled and booked with Taylor B and it was truly the most horrendous job hair job I have ever received in my life!!!! I told her I wanted to go lighter but to leave a tiny chunk of darker in my hair framing my face because I'm tanned, She balayaged my hair and gave me a root drag and the thickest chunk of dark around my face. I looked like I was from WALMART!!!! I could do a better job with my eyes closed and with box dye. It was so chunky and there was no consistent method to my highlights. I trusted her judgment because she was a senior stylist so I didn't feel like I had to walk a stylist step by step on what to do with my hair especially after she saw what it was like before she wrecked it. She told me to come back after I expressed how it was so chunky and uneven. I know with a level 2 I can't be a level 10 in one shot but the transition should be blended and flow until I achieve my desired look. Her co-worker kept telling her it looked great and trying to make me feel bad because I didn't want to look like pepe la pew!!! I went home and bleached it myself and toned it myself with some Joico Lumishine ( She could not fit me in until the following saturday) and came back in to get a few more blonde in the front so it looked even but it was so blotchy and grey in certain areas, I left extremely upset and she told me she didn't have any more time. I was willing to give her a second shot but it was just as bad. She charged me $300 for wrecking my hair and giving me the worst dye job of my entire life!!! For this price, I could of flown to LA and booked with with Nine Zero One-salon to the stars. Not only was this the most I ever paid someone to ruin my hair --it was beyond laughable. It took 6 hours to color correct the damage she did to my hair and the stylist told me this was one of the WORST jobs she's ever seen!!!! I can't speak for the other stylists there and Taylor is a nice, laid back girl but her technique and license is questionable. I got no apology or even a partial refund offered after this nightmare and they all made me feel like because I didn't like it the first time around that I was a difficult customer and that she gave me what I asked for. Sure, my dream is to look like a blind woman who can't see her hair. I'm a blogger and I'm the face of a new wedding line being launched in LA--i cannot AFFORD to look like I'm Walmart worthy!!! I don't mind paying if my hair looks AMAZING after!!! I'm not a hairstylist but I would never let someone LEAVE looking like this. Hair is art, if you don't care--it shows. Hands down not worth the price for this nightmare. See pictures I have attached and judge for yourself. Lesson learned--NEVER AGAIN. NOT RECOMMENDED. Try DK ENVY or Hedkandi. Seems like I'm not the only unhappy customer with this stylist after reading the review on here and I DARE the owner to try and call me to get this review off and threaten me.

My first visit to the salon today and I told the stylist what I specifically wanted. Thinned, and subtle layers. My layers were subtle alright only because she didn't even do it. My hair was only thinned in one place on the sides it was still thick on the sides and there were no layers at all. For $50 it's not worth it. I had a second place in mind but I chose to go to this place only because I've heard good reviews. I should've trusted my gut and went the other option I had in mind. This will be my first and last. I'm so disappointed not only because I wasted my money but because I wasted my time coming here. :(

I think one of the most difficult tasks is finding the best hairdresser that you love and does the perfect job and I have finally found my match! Kalee Bates is experienced, talented, and honest. I have followed her from another salon she worked at because there is no one else like her! I always get a great colour and cut. And when I feel like shaking things up with my hair, she knows just how to do it so you don't hate it in the end. I am an extremely picky person and usually leave salons not really liking my cut/dye jobs and having to let the style grow on me, but with Kalee, it is like falling love at first sight. Not only is she an amazing hairdresser, but one of the loveliest people you will ever meet. I can't wait to get my hair done asap!!!

Highly recommend Kalee for a men's cut. She's been cutting my hair since I was a younger lad and haven't had an issue. Still go to her here and new Salon is dandy with wonderful staff. This salon is absolutely terrible, the staff are unpolite and unprofessional. One staff member in particular, Cat, does not deserve a job working there she needs to learn when to acknowledge customers and put her phone away and tone down her attitude when a customer has done nothing to her, I've witnessed Cat be extremely rude for absolutely not reason to many customers. The "hairdressers" (if you can even call them that) never listen or can get color right I truly don't believe anyone is even qualified there especially Larissa. I will NEVER be returning and I will be telling everyone I know just how much of a joke this salon is.

Nina has been doing my hair for years! She is an amazing hair stylist and is the best at colour correction. Tiare salon is so elegant and modern! It has such a relaxing and chill vibe, time goes by so fast when I'm there. They also have a colour bar where you can wait while you're waiting for your hair to process and it has a really cool hair dryer!

The salon itself is clean and modern. I had balayage done by Gelz, who is such a great hair colourist. I walked in the salon with orange hair and walked out of the salon with beautiful blond and light brown tones. I showed her a picture of my dream hair colour and she definitely delivered!!!!

I have been to many salons in the past throughout all of Calgary, and never achieved my desire look/style. I started to lose hope but wanted to give tiare salon a try. The lady who did my hair was named Nina and she did exactly what I wanted. Their customer service was the best so far and she was the only one who understood what I wanted without explaining much. The trim she did on my hair cut just enough to make my hair look healthy but still keep it long. I'm very impressed with this salon and recommend it 100% to anyone. Go have your own experience!
