I haven't had the best hair salon experience since coming to Canada therefore very hesitant in getting my hair cut, i'm currently trying to grow my hair out from a very short style, the last salon left my hair looking and feeling terrible. But i think i have most defiantly found my new salon, Doug the owner explained why my hair was looking and feeling dry/damaged and what can be done to correct along with giving me the shape and style that will look great whilst not cutting too much length off. I am extremely happy with my cut and would recommend the salon to anyone.

I went in for a cut and highlights, I paid $200 and when I left I looked EXACTLY like I did when I got there. She called the highlights "subtle", no they just didn't exist at all! She couldn't even find them to point them out to me!!! And for the "cut" all she did was thin out my ends. It was bad, real bad. I've never been back since then and never will.

Just know what you want and do your research. When I was younger I came here, and after telling my stylist Carrie I wanted to go blonde for the first time she essentially told me she'd only dye my hair as much as she believed I could handle taking care of. I paid ~$270 hesitantly and after comparing my before and after photo's there was absolutely no difference. I came back frustrated and she just barely put a few more highlights in my hair. Don't let your stylist alone decide what they think you can handle, be confident and do your research so you can both understand what is to be done and what to expect. If they underestimate what you want or don't think you can take care of your own hair, go anywhere else and make sure it's what you want before you spend your money.

Doug was friendly, chatty, and pleasant. However, he insisted on straightening my very curly hair to cut it, and I'm sorry, but how can he see my curl pattern with it straight? I never wear my hair straight, and it really looks like he did nothing significant to it, there was no WOW factor. I basically paid $80 for a trim! I am sorry, but if you have curly hair, go somewhere else!

I see him every time I'm in town and find my hair much more manageable for months after an appointment not to mention how good it looks and feels. He gives good advice to boot. Highly recommend The Look to anyone with a challenging texture of hair!

So I was searching salons in GP and found this salon and had high rates , I decided to give it a try , I had high lights in my hair in the past and want to add more and go lighter , I called this saloon the reciptionist is very pushy and ignorant she booked me with one of the colour experts !!!! However I went their and she put few orange high lights in my hair , I was unsatisfied and told her I wanted light not dark orange hair , she goes you need to do it again n I order to have the look I want , three appointment and I still have the dark hair !!!! I don't recommend this salon to any one. Waste of time and money

Booked to get blonde foils and a cut. Specifically asked for hair lighter. Hair looked even darker when done not lighter. Given the descreet look speech. Told I was un happy and rebooked to get it fixed. Tried to make me pay the full amount. I told them I wasn't comfortable paying the full amount for something I was not satisfied with. Stated I would pay some, but not all at the current time. Told me not to worry about it and pay when I came back. I had to reschedule my appointment and then next day was left a very unprofessional voicemail about them calling the cops on me because I didn't pay for a hair appointment! Was absolutely astonished because I am a professional person. They should be embarrassed! They clearly don't care about clientele and their only care is making a buck. I called back and I was told "oh we would have never actually called the cops" and the girl thought it was a big joke! I then stated I did not want to come back to a place like that and they asked me to come in and pay for half the cost of my hair. Looking back I should have gave them a dime for the stunt the pulled!

Very professional. I am extremely happy with my new cut and dye they gave me. I haven't had a cut like this for a long while and the hair color is just amazing. This team knows hair well, and I recommend any of them. They will cut and die your hair in a way that suits you best. I will continue going there for my hair that's for sure :)

Two appointments totalling most of a mortgage payment. First appointment went well, second appointment the stylist accidentally died my hair pretty much the exact colour I had when I first come in (which is what I was there to fix). Called to book another appointment because I was unhappy with the colour job and the obvious root re-growth and was told the soonest they could squeeze me in was the next month. No offer to refund or make it right. Can’t recommend them at all.
