I've been going to Radiance Salon for 7 to 8 years now and I have followed them from their old location to the new one. I just recently moved back to Calgary from Fort McMurray and I am so glad to be able to get my hair done at Radiance Salon again. They make sure to cater to all my hair needs and I always leave with a smile on my face. Not only is the service great, but the products are amazing as well! All the women in my family go to Radiance; I would recommend it for every family.

LISTEN UP!! guys this was the most devastating hair experience I have ever had in my life.... the reviews I read about her inconsistent price was more than accurate please listen to the other bad reviews!! She will probably try to reply to this just like every other bad review but I promise she’s not the victim. On Website says $150 for a full head weave when I walked in she raised it to 180 I paid 168.......... I paid 168 to go home and hate my hair it was bulky (she said it’s because I have a lot of hair which isn’t true I’ve been to tons of places and it doesn’t turn out bulky )and not braided right. I politely emailed her telling her I loved and enjoyed her and her daughters company throughout getting my hair done(her daughter is amazing and kind ) and I’m just not really happy with it, I asked for a refund so I could take my business elsewhere and she was very nice about it but she said she doesn’t offer refunds and that she can fix it so I emailed her back! No respond. I had to call and she insisted if I want it redone that I have to take it out myself before coming in like? I’m not the one who messed it up why would I need to take it out! She had so much Attitude over the phone I was being so nice just for her to treat me so poorly anyway after going back and forth she was just like fine we will get it done come in at 11 and boom the call was ended. I decided not to go in because I felt so humilated that she was mad at me and I felt like she would take it out on my hair. Anyways I went to edmonton for my birthday when I came back the track on the side of my hair and bottom of my hair we’re both unravelling I sent her the photos because I was ENRAGED. When I took the hair out after only a week of it being in my scalp was sore even though she said she wouldn’t do it Tight and she did it loose some places but extremely tight in others and I lost a lot of my own hair. she never even replied to the pics. At this point I don’t care who’s in the right who’s in the wrong I just want my money back. save your money save your hair guys..

The best salon experience I’ve had since moving to Calgary 4 yrs ago! Yesterday I got cornrows & extensions. It was my first time getting extensions & Lola & her daughter Temi were great with giving me info on how to care & maintain my braids. Lola didn’t try to push any product on me, but I bought am hair gel & a bonnet to keep my braids looking tight. It was nice to be in a dalton n with a friendly atmosphere & try a hairstyle I’ve never done before! I’ll definitely be coming back!

Lola and her team at Radiance Salon are amazing, I would recommend this salon to anyone wanting to purchase hair extensions in Calgary! I recently purchased a weft from their Chloe Collection, (I normally purchase a 14’ Secret of Medusa weft but unfortunately they are having trouble receiving stock), and I am extremely pleased with the quality, price, and durability of the hair. The colour is stunning and so far, after a few washes, there has been zero, to very minimal shedding. It has been very comparable, and even better quality than the Secret of Medusa hair, as it’s natural looking, easy to style, and the top of the weft is very thin, which makes the the extensions unnoticeable in my fine hair. A couple weeks after the purchase I also received a follow up call from the salon asking about my experience, which was greatly appreciated. Thank you Lola and staff! This will be my go to weft brand going forward.

She has also done hair for a few members of my family (mom, sister and cousin) who have came back and said that she has done an outstanding job. I found out about Radiance Hair Extension in September of 2020. A good friend referred me to then when I arrived Calgary. I have been stuck ever since and haven’t had a reason to switch my salon. They are warm, welcoming and always make you feel at home. Lola and her team always give you a reason to keep coming back. I have alopecia and am bald on the top of my head. Lola tried a new braid pattern on my own hair and now my top piece stays on much better. When you have to live with extensions (not by choice) you also have to deal with the trial and error of your own changing hair. Lola is a pro. Her shop is run very proffessionally so your appointments are on time and no fooling around. I like Radiance Salon and I will be a customer for many years to come. Thanks guys!!!!!

So Overpriced for a small job. they don’t have a fixed price they will look at you and come up with a price. my best friend went there and she is very disappointed. Their job is unprofessional, they seems very nice people but work is very poor . I would suggest going somewhere else compare prices , job and quality. I found Radiance Salon on a hunt to get hair extensions put into my hair ASAP. Lola, the owner of Radiance was very accommodating and called me as soon as I sent a message requesting to come in. She informed me of how much it was going to cost (rough estimate) and even had me come in when she shouldn’t have been open. I absolutely love my hair extensions and have been back 3 times now. I honestly wouldn’t allow anyone else to do my extensions. I chose to do the weave and get complimented on my hair daily. You can’t tell I have extensions in. She matches your hair colour perfectly, take it from someone who has a very mousy hair colour. She mixed two different hair extension colours together to match my colour and you would not be able to tell the difference, no one has been able to thus far and everyone assumes it is my real hair. Please note, I am a worrier and get terrified when trying new things such as this but I can say with 100% confidence that Lola is amazing. She’s very sweet to and a great conversationalist. She’s very helpful and has provided me with many tips on how to have healthier hair and how to take care of my extensions so they last as long as possible and all of her advice has been just right for me. I highly recommend coming to Lola. She won’t let you down, I can assure you of that. I will keep coming back, again my 3rd time here and I’m incredibly happy!

!!!DO NOT GO HERE!!! This is one of the worst salon experiences I have ever had! The prices were super inconsistent, when I got an estimate I was told $350-450 when I walked out of the salon They charged me $700!!! I have curly hair and went to get extensions that matched my curly hair, I trusted in there expertise that they could match my hair and do a proper install. They said they were well experienced with curly hair. I wish I could attach pictures so everyone can see the bad job they did. The hair did not match mine at all! When I mentioned this they said go home and shower and it will look better.... it didn’t. On top of that they were blended horribly. To top it all off when I got them removed a few days later at a different salon the lady taking them out literally said “my poor head”. Wefts were tripled up and way too heavy on my scalp, also the beads had too much hair and were pulling as well. My head hurt while the extensions were installed and my head was sore for DAYS AFTER they were taken out. When I spoke to the manager she and they lady who did the installation refused to take responsibility for there mess up saying that it was my hair that’s the problem. If they were not comfortable with my hair why did they continue with the service?! To scam me out of money that’s why. After trying to be polite and explaining my side... then a heated discussion with the manager, it took talking to the employee who did my hair to get a refund of only $250 over a week later... No surprise if the manager responds to this review trying to justify the wrongdoings of the salon. She has done it on almost all of the bad reviews. If whoever is reading this doesn’t believe me go have a look for yourself. Hope that nobody else get screwed over like I was!! As I said she would she commented back lol what a joke. Never willing to accept full responsibility. As I told them when I was there I was trusting them to match my hair, if they were not able to do that they should have said so before installing a full head of hair. It is not my responsibility as a client to match my hair!! That is why I went to a salon!!

I HAVE GIVEN THIS SALON A FIVE STAR and here is why. There are SO many details to factor in when getting hair extensions and believe me I could write a book about what to do and definitely what NOT to do or accept. One size doesn’t fit all- at all and many salons who offer extensions will sell you what they think you should buy. If you have Caucasian hair, Asian hair extensions are not compatible with your hair and the hair will never colour the same. Something to consider. As a European, in the 22 years of having hair extensions I have been to many mediocre salons and I have leaned many valuable lessons along the way. During Covid times I was introduced to Radiance and the owner operator Lola and her co-worker Tammy. It is“ DAY AND NIGHT“, to any place I have experienced. The salon is meticulously clean and elegant and MOST OF ALL, they follow all covid protocol. It is a smaller, efficiently run salon and both of the ladies are extremely knowledgeable with all options of hair extensions depending on your hair, needs, desired achievements and budget. It’s a very comfortable environment, it’s upscale and both Lola and Tammy are so engaging. I can honestly say that I have, FINALLY“, found my extension forever home. Thank you both so much for your advice and the way I now know I can look and feel with my hair.

Working scam. Girlfriend came to get her hair done. A verbal agreement was made she made the 2 hour drive down. Got her hair down. Had to pay 1.5x the original agreed amount in order to leave. Got home and found that it was not done right as well as not placed well. Called to talk with management to figure out what they can do. They refused to admit to doing any wrong or willing to make a fair agreement. Had to fight with them just to get a third of the money back. Wouldn’t recommend them to do dogs hair let alone her hair ever again.

Radiance Salon is the WORST company that I have ever had to deal with. Their products are garbage, overpriced, and extremely poor quality. The owner is unprofessional and dishonest. Do yourself the favour and go anywhere BUT here. Here is why.. Four months ago I purchased "Bohemian" from Radiance Salon. A week later it all knotted and all fell out. With great resistance, the owner finally agreed to return the hair and said that I would be refunded the full amount. Four months later, after calling the store numerous times, the owner finally transferred me 1/4!!!!!!! of the refund. She later blamed that she gave me a number of discounted services in the past which is why she decided to hold onto the remaining 3/4 of the refund!!! Complete ROBBERY!!!
