OMG don't even get me started. I showed A PICTURE of the hair style i wanted, nothing fancy just a couple of layers in the back. the guy started chopping away my hair when I specifically said "DO NOT cut too much just an inch or two" anyways, i was so upset that then the girl said she would "fix" it, long story short, left the hair salon looking like i was into 1995 hair-trend, with like 5 inches shorter and BANGS!!. Do not EVER go here if you are a girl and you want your haircut done right. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

Worst experience ever. The hairstylist didn't go with what I asked for. And when I complained about it, she said if you don't like don't come next time. What a rude and unprofessional way to talk to your clients. You must go with whatever clients want and not with what you want.

Having just moved here from another province, this was my first visit to Mirrors Hair Salon. I researched salons in the downtown area and, based on the great reviews regarding satisfaction and price, thought I would give it a try. Phuong lived up to my expectations and gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had and all at a fantastic price. Because it was my first visit, she spent 20 minutes beforehand inquiring as to exactly what I wanted and pulling up pictures on the Internet to ensure I would be happy with the cut and colour she gave me. This will definitely be my go to salon - highly recommend!

This is such a super awesome Salon. I have been to this place for more than a year now. Once a month I get root touch up (hair color) done from Fong, the owner of this Salon. She is highly experienced, very friendly, does an excellent job everytime. I am so glad I live close to this Salon downtown. My family is a big fan of Mirrors Hair Salon. My son too visits this place and he loves it. They deserve more than 5 stars for sure. I highly recommend this place. Very reasonable and if I were to describe Fong in 2 words, I would say "Simply Wow". Thanks.

First the salon smells.. second the lady there was not at all welcoming and exceptionally rude. And as soon as showed her my hair, she started oh it’s too long , I can’t do it.... it’s a lot of work!!! why have you opened a business if you can’t do anything? Lazy... and then she started looking at my hair when I asked her so you can’t do it at all.. she gave me a quote of $400 and I told her that I have been to other places and they told me lesser then that. And you won’t believe, she said go ahead with them... haha... anyways the way she behaved nobody in sense would get their hair done from her... she should just sit home and relax because clearly she can’t do anything.

Never ever go to this shop for cutting. Unhygienic and using same trimmer on everyone without sanitizing it. I went there for cutting and they put scratch on my neck with trimmer which irritate me for couple of days. Most importantly lady doesn't know how to use the trimmer and seems to untrained.

Had an iffy haircut from a friend, went in and asked if I could get some help cleaning it up and was greeted by a woman who was very clearly insulted that I’d choose her place of work. She went off about how I was disrespecting her profession by coming in and asking for help, and in the end seemed like she wasn’t going to agree to cut my hair. Pretty shocked and disappointed to be treated so rudely. To be shamed for asking for a haircut... Would not recommend this place to anyone, look at the other one star reviews! Clearly not a place to take your money.

My husband has been going to Phuong for years and always raves about her haircuts and beard trims. Two days before the second lockdown, when I couldn't get in to see my own stylist, Phuong fit me into her already packed schedule. She didn't have any other staff on and was already with two other customers when I arrived but was still able to give me a great haircut in under 45 minutes for half of what I usually pay. I showed her a picture of the style I wanted, which meant taking off 4-5 inches, and she gave me exactly what I wanted. For a first time customer, under pressure to not keep others waiting, and to give me a completely different style than what I had... I am extremely impressed and happy with the results. I will definitely be going back to Mirrors once they reopen!

My girlfriend went there today for a haircut. She wanted short hair because it's summer. She clearly mentioned that I need short hair upto length shown in the picture(my girlfriend showed her a picture). Clearly it was not done properly were done too short. I have a feeling that this hair dresser has some strong listening issues.She doesn't care about customer look and treats them like a transaction. Not coming here again and will tell friends and family not go go there. ZERO stars for the service.
