I’ve gotten my haircut by their hairstylist Chanel a few times, and she always does an amazing job. I’m always happy with the result and couldn’t ask for a better cut, or the conversation that accompanies every appointment. As someone with some hearing loss, it was also nice that she had a clear mask on, it really helped me to be able to understand what she was saying as I often need to able to see someone’s lips to be able to hear them. Will definitely be back!

I've been going there for a few years now, and I've liked it. It's just a nice place to go without all of the pretense and attitude that other hair dressers seem to bring. It's not the cheapest haircut, but it's not overly expensive as well.

I saw good reviews online and that was the reason behind purchasing groupon, but seems like, there is never a free slot for them to book an appointment. I live very close to their place and i dont see the place as packed as they say (which is fine). But i am just wondering why I am not able to get an appointment, given that i have been trying for a month. I am working and I have a busy schedule too, so anytime I call them to check their schedule, they are booked for the next three days. Wondering if they arent keen on groupon users. Will be careful before buying next one.

I never leave reviews but I must say that Renee is amazing! I have thin, frizzy, curly, dry hair that breaks easily. My hair is very high maintenance. She always listens and does EXACTLY what I ask for. Every single time. It's expensive for a haircut though. I paid $55. The salon uses Aveda hair products and I always get an awesome scalp AND hand massage. Thank you Renee!

they didnt appreciate me as a customer as soon as i said i bought a Groupon. there might be good hairdresser, but poor customer service over the phone as far as i concern. i told them my Groupon is going to expired in 6 days, and they didnt have any appointment available and telling me most people book 7 days ahead. on groupon it never mentioned that i need 7 days in advance for booking neither. of course they will not do anything about it and said i will have to deal with Groupon to get it refund.

BAD HAIRCUT!!! I was clear on my expectations and they were simple, yet she either ignored, dismissed, or was unqualified to proved the haircut as requested. I left with rattier hair than I went in with. Yes, I did point it out. No, she did not recognize the validity of my complaint. She chose to be defensive. At that point no one wants that stylist coming near them with scissors ever again. The only redeeming quality is they use Aveda products. The mask worn by the stylist was open and loose around the nose, not at all sealed for my safety, it was meant to be aesthetically pleasing I suppose. In the time of Covid don't need to bond, I don't need small talk, what I need is for you to talk as little as possible and to be completely covered up whilst doing so. Suspiciously, after anyone posts a negative review a 5 start review magically appears the next day. Is it also coincidental that those same 5 star reviewers post one star reviews for barbers in the same strip mall? Bad faith business. FAIL.

I've been going here for years when I'm in Edmonton and it's easily the best place around. I'm picky and trust Sebastien to follow through on what I bring him. Most of the time I just stay with the same style so I can just autopilot and know I'm leaving with a meticulous quality cut. When I do want something different, I'll find a few pics of it to show and then we'll discuss it quickly. In particular whether it's within reason for my hair type and what to expect. This has included all sorts of random but mostly focused on something that will still look good with a suit but has a little edge. Whether that's a shaped full beard or a part in an athletic cut. The price is great considering and I buy a 10 pack so I can just walk in and out when I have an appointment.

Purchased a Groupon for a cut and style. I explained to Chantelle that I wanted a trim to clean up and look fresh. She ended up taking almost 3 inches off to "even out the layer." I specifically asked to keep the length and only dust off the bangs. When she realized how unhappy I was with the service, she ditched and asked Sebastian to complete the styling. No apology, offer to fix the issue... nothing. Will not be returning and would recommend others to consider before purchasing Groupon and visiting.

Dont do it, especially with a groupon.. stylist was impatient and not genuine; promised things she didnt keep and did not offer any professional advice. I left with a terrible color and my hair feeling frizzy and way worse than i walked in with. Stylist knew i wasnt happy with the color so she turned me completely away from all mirrors.. so shady. Also, went i booked apt. They said they would honour the groupon without buying it on the app, maybe my first mistake... it was $76 on groupon and they charged me $100.. even with taxes and no extra product or service was used, it doesnt add up. Definitely not happy with my experience .

AMAZING. I hve never been satisfied with a hair dresser as much as i am with Sebastien. I ve tried Evelyn Charles, Chatters, and alot of other places, and ALWAYS regretted it. until I finally came here. never looked back since 2012. Everytime I get my hair done, any style any colour, he gets it right. he is very friendly , chatty and nice. Sure it is expensive but the compliments I get are so worth it, and everyone i knew ended up going there. I went from Red to Blond, to highlights , back to brown, then blond again, and he always gets it right. He was even able to match my hair colour to my extensions. I even sometimes just to tell him to cut it which ever way it would suite me, because he never messes it up.

I just had the most horrible experience, first of all she was SO slow, 4.5 hours for just three hair cuts, she looks like she is still learning, I leave the place exactly how I arrive, all my ends very damage and when I ask her tu cut them she said that it was fine because not all of the end were bad just some, I got so frustrated after 1.5 of her trying to cut my hair, this salon has good hair Stylist they shouldn’t hire some like her, she is giving bad reputation to all. My appointment was July 13 at 12:15 I do not remember her name.

If i could give Maxim less than one star, I would. I had a terrible experience here. I used a groupon (perhaps my first mistake) for highlights and cut. The hairstylist knew up front that my hair was box dyed, and I told her that I had never had highlights before, and needed her professional opinion to select a color that would work well. We chose a shade together and after she was almost completely finished putting it in my hair, said, "hopefully it turns out, there's often an issue with the color turning out when highlighting boxed hair." Hold on, you waited until AFTER it was in my hair to tell me this?? Well, when she washed it out.... ORANGE. bright, road construction orange. I wanted to cry. She called the owner over for help, and all he said was, "well, that's what happens with box dyes...." Pardon me, isn't your job to FIX the problem, not blame me for what your stylist messed up? I was so offended. I never withheld any information from her, and she knew well before she started that my hair was box dyed, and I had no idea what I was doing. it was HER job to help me make the best decision for my hair, and she failed and then I was blamed for her mistake. It took her so long to re-color the orange (wasn't even effective) that there was no time for a haircut.IN between appointments, I had to get another salon to fix her error and re-dye my hair. I went for my haircut last night... I believe in second chances... I told her i wanted a trim. I was growing my hair out. I had an inverted hairstyle, with it longer in the front and shorter in the back. I've been growing it out for 6 months. She asked if I wanted it evened out, I said no. She asked if she could take a inch off, so I asked her to show me what she thought was an inch. It was way too much, and I told her that. I wanted half an inch or less off. Well. She hacked my hair off. took several inches off, evened out the front and back, so now I have this awful looking mom-bob. And when I got home, I realized that she had completely missed a huge section of my hair!!!! She asked if I needed it styled, and I was so anxious to get out of there that I said no. I assumed she would at least dry my hair completely.. Nope. I didn't even realize how horrific it was until I got home and finished drying my hair. What. A. Disaster. Don't waste your money. Now I have short, uneven, hacked hair. Guess I'll spend even more money for someone else to fix what she messed up.
