I was a regular of Lulu’s in the 1990’s, but drifted away from the neighbourhood. I was passing by today and decided to get a cut if there was a free space. Lucky me! Lulu herself was finishing up with a client and I was next. The service and quality remains the same after her 29 years at this location. Thanks Lulu!

I've been a regular for 5 years now; the price is fantastic ($20 for a men's haircut), staff are great and friendly, and the haircuts are high quality too. Can't comment on the women's/complicated hairdressing, but I do see many ladies getting those services too. Thank you Lulu!

I've been getting my hair cut here since 2009. I've never once had a bad haircut. Lu Lu and May are both the best stylists I've ever had. Great prices for a great service. You feel like family at Lu Lu's. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and I have. Thanks for being here. I even love the building they're in. They say first impressions say everything and they are right. Right from my very first haircut I knew this was the place to get my haircuts. And for the most part, this was the only place I went, the exception being when I lived in a different city. I'm unfortunately writing this because I've moved and because I don't have a car it's to far for me to go for a haircut. So. I'll say that I highly recommend Lu Lu's for anyone's hairstyling needs. From young to old like I am now, they handle everyone. They have other services as well. Something to do with fingers. I'm not sure about that though. So I'll say goodbye. Thanks very much for being a part of my life. I say that because Lu Lu's makes you feel like family. They're warm and accepting, kind and friendly. You rock Lu Lu's!

I have been going here for a few years. I have always been happy with the haircut I get. They are efficient and professional and also friendly. The price is $25 for a basic men's wash and cut which is very reasonable. I would definitely recommend going if you live in the area.

Horrible place to get a haircut. I had Lulu and she ripped my hair out while combing it out. After having a worker wet my hair with water (talking dripping wet), even though I had told them I'd just had a shower so there was no need. The worker told me Lulu wouldn't cut my hair unless it was wet. They later tried to charge me for a shampoo & conditioning, though I didn't have it. Also charged me for styling even though all she did was blow dry my hair, hair that I didn't want wet/didn't have to be wet to begin with. She could have just sprayed my hair with water to dampen then cut it. This is all before Lulu even made the first cut. Now on to the cut, I asked for just a trim and basically to make my previous hairstyle (long layers with layers framing the face) a little neater. She didn't listen well to what I wanted. The layers she gave me started too far down (3 inches below my chin) & my layers are not blended in well. All around horrible experience. By the way, they only accept cash or credit.

I had my hair cut here a few months ago and it was the worst haircut i have ever had. i had written a review and i noticed today it had be removed from the owner. STAY FAR AWAY!!!! I came in for a fade and it was very uneven like a 1 inch difference on each side of my head.. I did not even want to go back to get it fixed..i went straight to another hair place to get my hair fixed by someone who knows what they are doing!!
