Icon was recommended to me after a balayage disaster at another salon. I was able to meet with Rylie for a consultation and she was absolutely AMAZING to work with. The whole process took about 5 hours and the result was totally worth it (even the scary carrot orange phase we went through lol). I'm so excited to continue seeing Rylie for the maintenance of my colour. She was also super knowledgeable about Kevin Murphy products for my hair. I've already noticed that my hair was more volume and is less greasy. Major props to the entire Icon team!

I originally came to this salon to have my hair and makeup done for my wedding this past year. I came for a trial and Heather did my makeup. She helped me get exactly the look I wanted and she was very receptive if I wanted something tweaked. The day of the wedding she did a really great job and I felt so beautiful. Heather and another makeup artist did my wedding party's makeup as well and everyone was stunning. Kylee did my hair and we found out that my hair is really stubborn at holding any style, but she worked hard and found a way to work around it and I hit exactly the style I wanted for my wedding. And everyone else was well looked after by the other stylists. I have been to Kylee for two hair cuts and some highlights since then and she has done a wonderful job every time. She also makes great product recommendations for every budget. I would highly recommend getting any service here. You will be well taken care of!

I can’t say enough great things about these ladies. We arrived the morning of my wedding to the salon and they had mimosas and snacks for us. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed. They did hair and makeup for myself, 6 bridesmaids and my mom that left all of us feeling so beautiful. Not to mention we were done early with tones of time to spare and they are very very reasonably priced for wedding services. Beautiful salon, atmosphere and incredibly talented and friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

Staff are really kind. But I had a bad experience and I wouldn't recommend the tanning services. I went in for a tan. Came out the next day after showering and the inside of my arms and legs were not done. I called the manager she offered to get it redone, great. The morning before my tan I realized the tan I had was gone altogether, no tan lines, nothing, after only 2 days. I went in to see the manager to say I didn't want to have the service redone, but just a refund as their product doesn't stick. I've been doing Spray Tans for years and I know how to ensure longevity with my skin type. Despite not having a warning or signs or anything on their website, she mentioned their policy was no returns on any services, only credit. I don't want/need other services completed at this point, so I've essentially lost 49$. I went here for the convenience of popping in after work, but I will return to my usual tanning spot in future.

Love it here! I have been searching for a main salon/stylist for a while now this place has been my consistent go-to. Everyone here is super nice and welcoming - if you're lucky, sometimes Acorn, their dog will be there too to great you at the door! Really clean, decor is great, and they use good products like Kevin Murphy and VERB.

Icon Hair South is a fantastic salon! The first time I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable. Rylie is my hair guru! She took me from a grey/blond to a warm brunette. Not too dark and not too light. I have never had colour that didn’t fade out drastically in a very short period of time and Rylie worked her magic. I felt that every strand of hair got a little love from Rylie. She is very thorough, honest and fun! She will explain everything to you and be absolutely honest on what she can and cannot do. I appreciate this very much.

I went back to Kylee at icon south after having amazing results the first time I saw her. I was in need of a cleanup/ trim due to the covid lockdown and my hair has never felt better after leaving ! She’s amazing! The shop is very clean and I felt comfortable with the precautions they are taking during covid. Kylee is very knowledgeable and professional, I’ll definitely be back to see her soon!
