70 bucks for short hair style is way over priced... But Elizabeth my hair dresser was awesome... My biggest problem is the products they use... It makes me itch so bad! And I paid 45 for a product that I'm afraid to use because I itched so bad when I left there... I wouldn't recommend this place based on the Kevin Murphy products?. Garbage

This was my first time and you made a great first impression. It started before I even walked in - with a friendly conversation on the phone to get booked in. My hairdresser listened to everything I asked for, was respectful, hygienic. I needed a change as my hair was previously highlighted and it was very yellow and not very well done. I was nervous to change it but Aseia was amazing. She was so attentive and listened to all of my requests and we worked together to get the best results. I went from a yellow blonde to a gorgeous dark copper that I am so in love with. I feel so much more confident and pretty and I FINALLY love my hair again. If you’re looking for an amazing stylist, book Aseia. I don’t have a single complaint. The cut was exactly what I wanted, not too long not too short, and the layers are so pretty. The colour is also just so well done. I had a great experience. I will not go anywhere else now.

Great salon, Nicola my stylist did a great job on the hair and they use quality products for washing and styling your hair. The waiting area is very small and one woman who was getting cut had 4 kids, I gave up my seat so they could sit. Would be nice to have more seating for people who come early or delays

I saw Aseia today for a full foil and to fix my mangled bangs which I cut myself. I had almost 2 inches of root and it looked so bad. Aseia did such a good job on my hair and I usually hate sitting for foils but she was so so quick. My hair looks amazing. The final result looks so even and she toned my hair to this beautiful neutral blonde color. She fixed my bangs and explained how to correct my cowlicks (which I didn’t even know I had). Aseia also fixed parts of my overtoned hair. Honestly, she is really talented and I highly recommend her. My hair looks and feels amazing.

Fresh & Co not only gave me hands down the best hairstyle I've ever had to date but also a very memorable experience. Joanna went above and beyond and made an effort for me even on short notice, making me feel appreciated as a customer in her wonderful business. Then Jess, an unbelievably talented, sweet and accommodating stylist took exactly what i envisioned and brought it to life with her amazing skills. I didn’t have a lot of expectation walking into the salon after 7 months without a hair cut. I kept going back and forth whether I should shorten it up or leave it long for quick ponytails as I head back to work next week following mat leave. This time around I have two children and myself to get ready and a ponytail would have been so much easier. I kept the appointment and asked for a bob style. Aseia examined my lifeless, postpartum thin hair and gave her expert opinion on what would give it the best shape and volume. I saw a dramatic difference as she continued to cut. Aseia gave direction on how to blow dry and style so I could easily maintain my new look at home. This extremely talented stylist transformed my hair from drab to fabulous in less than an hour. I walked out of that salon feeling absolutely beautiful for the first time in years. She is amazing!! I am so glad I kept my appointment and I will definitely be back to see Aseia. Jess was the one who cut my hair. I have curly/natural hair and I hate getting my hair cut as most hairdressers are not well versed with curly hair. But Jess had a whole line of curly products she used on my hair, and she was knowledgeable on how to dry and style my hair, not just blow-drying and using a curling wand. Went in for a simple cut and layering and the hair dresser kept trying to sell me more and more treatments for my hair that I didn't want. She seemed very awkward about making conversation the whole time, like she's been coached on what to say which makes me think she was new to the business and not experienced at all. (I think her name started with an A like Alyssa or Allison or something but I don't remember) I wanted about 3-4 inches taken off, and she took more like 6 inches off. When I told her how short I wanted I showed her where it should fall, but I think she just didn't account for the fact that my hair is curly and would come up more once dry. Rookie mistake, I wanted mid back length and instead I have just below the shoulder length. I can't even see any layering in my hair at all. The cut looks like she just took a pair of scissors and cut a straight line, very boxy with no depth or shaping around the face at all. Won't be back.

After having a really bad experience during a less than satisfactory service, I was finding it difficult to reach someone to rectify the situation. It took some time and effort to get to the right person. When the manager and I were finally able to get in touch, she was extremely understanding, apologetic, and kind. It sounds like there’s been a few personnel changes over the last little while, leading to the delay in communication. She offered a complimentary service whenever I felt comfortable coming back in and even recommended a stylist. It was genuinely one of the best customer service interactions I’ve ever had. I will give the salon another shot just because of her kindness. I can’t speak for the services yet but 5 stars for management!

That's when I happened to call Fresh and Co Salon for a walk in haircut and trust me all I wanted was a simple haircut. Tatiana, the hairstsylist at this salon was very gentle, polite, above all professional. Her attention to detail was superb. I have a long naturally curly hair and requested for a shoulder length bob cut. She did an amazing job. She has the magic hands. I will definetly refer her for professionalism and styling. Got my hair cut here by master stylist (Sara) right before my wedding and she did a wonderful job, told her how I was going to have it styled and the cut matched what I needed perfectly. After the wedding I decided to donate my hair and the same girl did the cut. Knew exactly what to do and gave me a style I absolutely loved! The place was very clean and the products they use for hair were nice. Only downside was prices were a bit high but you get what you pay for in this case! Would recommend.

I honestly wasn't exactly sure what I wanted with my hair, I just said to lighten it up and I completely put my trust in Ghizal..She did everything I wanted and more! I had a very unpleasant experience with this salon. After spending 4 hours and over $300 at this salon to have my hair highlighted and cut, I left the salon with chunky streaks and an extremely uneven hair cut. Upon calling the salon to speak to a manager I was forwarded to Magda. I sent her pictures of my hair as I was unwilling to go back to this salon and was in the process of having it fixed elsewhere. When she reviewed the pictures she called me and proceeded to tell me that “it wasn’t that bad” and that they would refund me $63 - the cost of my haircut. Frankly, this salon should be embarrassed of the service their “master stylist” provided. And customer service is not at the top of their priorities. Don’t waste your time or head of hair here. I now have extremely fried hair and had to pay another $300 to have it fixed at a far more reputable salon.

Just over a month or so ago I had a very poorly done hair cut from another salon, I have been wearing my hair in a bun since trying to let it grow out more. Today I went into fresh and co just to get my bangs trimmed and told my stylist about the crummy cut I had received from another salon, She asked to take a look ( it was in a bun... as always now) and agreed it was poorly done and gave me a quick texture, no extra charge, to get me through! I can now wear my hair down again!!! Thanks you so much Kristen!!! Cannot wait to get a full hair cut from you in a few weeks! Highly recommend this place

Very polite and welcoming. They provide suggestions if you can't find what you're looking for, for a cut and style. They're great at figuring out your preferred water temperature. Wonderful at providing suggestions for products that work well with your hair type.

I went in for a balayage and cut and came out in tears and out of pocket $488. They destroyed my hair and it looked way better before I went in. A child could have done a better job. I was somewhat relieved when Joanna the manager told me she saw the pictures and offered me a full refund, as she didn't know what happened and said that they fired the colourist. When I went in today, they only issued me a partial refund, so I paid $150 still and need to go to another salon to fix this disaster. I will never go to them again and I suggest nobody else does. Completely unacceptable and I will be sharing this EVERYWHERE. The pics are before, what I wanted, and what I got.

Website shows 35 dol for regular men's haircut. I got charged 50 dol. Aseia arguments that she stayed longer just for me. I didn't ask her to stay late for me. I was there more then one hour before closing. I hate to be put in that situations. It's not about money, it's about being fair. That was my first and last time in that place. Big NO for me.

I found this salon after checking the top 10 salons in Edmonton. It's really hard finding a good stylist. Fresh & Co was one of the salons listed. It's close to home so I took a chance and called! I spoke to Joanna the store manager. She booked me with Sylvia. Joanna advised the Sylvia was a master stylist and an expert for the cut I was looking for. I arrived at my appointed time. Although I wasnt greeted right away, while waiting, I noticed how clean the salon was and the display of product was certainly abundant. Sylvia greeted me and so my experience with her started. Sylvia is a very "down to earth" lady. She takes the time to really listen to what you want and when necessary, she explains what will and will not work for you. The best part was, she was right!!! I'm sure glad I listened to her. When I went home I did what we all pretty much do, either re-style your hair or run a brush through just to see how the cut turned out. Mine for the first time was perfect. Not a hair out of place!!!!! I am also glad I listened and didnt go as short as I wanted!!! That would have been a huge mistake, again, she was right!! I do not usually do reviews but I have to give a 5 star and leave comments for Aseia. I visited Aseia on Saturday for a haircut. Aseia is friendly and professional. She took the time to consult me and provided high quality information regarding my hair care. She answered all of my questions and my concerns about what I wanted as I was nervous to cut too much of my length and had lots of questions. Aseia took the time to answer every question for me and listens carefully and she gave me exactly what I asked for my hair and gave me layers. I trust Aseia as she takes the time to listen to what I want for my hair and she delievers exactly what I asked for. I highly recommend Aseia.

Great service all around. Safety measures taken seriously with masks, thorough cleaning and partitions. As for the hair... Aseia is a pro! She did a full head of hi/low lights with surgical precision, very quickly and beautifully. Took the time to ask lots of questions to make sure she delivered exactly what I was looking for. If there was a way for me to choose higher than the rating I gave, I would. Allow me to explain to anyone reading this exactly why Fresh and Co Salon in Mullen Edmonton is the single best place in the city, the only hair salon that will go above and beyond for you, and is 100% worth your trust and your money. I went to an appointment at a different company salon in the city, and after (very patiently) waiting a full hour in the parking lot for an appointment I made a week before, I finally got in and was greeted by the hair stylist with animosity and attitude. I won’t go into details, but the way this person spoke to me due to their own issues was so disrespectful and inhuman... forget being a customer, I wasn’t even treated like a person. It was so terrible I called Fresh and Co Mullen on my drive home in tears and the manager Joanna (or Jojo) picked up, listened to my predicament, and was so comforting and consoling even though she had never met me in person. She told me to take a deep breath and that everything would be okay. I told her that I had heard a girl named Lizzi at her salon is wonderful from a few friends and online as well, so I asked if Lizzi might be available. She said Lizzi was available the next evening (the day before lockdown) and I said I wouldn’t be able to come in as the next day would have been Mother’s Day and I couldn’t be tied up. She called Lizzi, and Lizzi agreed to come in JUST for me! But get this; Joanna told me they would both come in at 6am the next morning just to give me the chance to get my hair done before lockdown so I can spend the evening with my mother. She told me to relax and stay calm, she was so reassuring and kind, and when I came in it was a wonderful experience from start to finish.... although I had not had much interaction with these ladies prior to this incident, they went above and beyond to help a stranger and provided an amazing service... it truly felt as though I was getting my hair done from a friend!!!! 10 stars! Please give them a try :)

I went back in July of 2017 with terrible half brown/half black box dye hair that I needed desperately to get fixed, as I was getting married in Aug. The first time I went, Stephanie helped get rid of as much black as she could without damaging my hair, lightened my hair significantly and gave me a nice balayage for my wedding. Of course the service is quite expensive, but you pay for what you get, and when you go for your consultation, the hair dresser will ask for your budget and work with what you can spend. I loved my hair and let it grow out for almost another year. I came back today for an app. with Kristen who again did wonders to my hair. She cut it, layered it, kept the length that I wanted, and yet again gave my hair a much lighter, summer-y balayage that I love! I will definitely be coming back in the following months for upkeep on my hair-the service is nice, the place is well kept, and the ladies are great to work with!

Jess cut my hair today, she did a fantastic job. She corrected someone else's poor haircut that I had on the last day before shutdown. I emailed the company about 2 days later on a Sunday, and within 2 hours (again, on a Sunday) Sam the owner called me, he heard me, he understood me, he was supportive and promised to sort it out. And he came through. Jess was amazing, my haircut looks beautiful! And she was fast too, while still maintaining perfection! She provided me with a great product and showed me without even saying, that I can achieve a better look with just a blow dryer, instead of adding in more damaging heat of a straightener. I will be going back to her.

I brought my daughter in today to get her hair fixed as she decided to cut her hair on her own ????.... I wasn't sure if it was even possible to make it look presentable but figured I would try. Joanna at the front was super welcoming and helpful both on the phone and in person. She was extremely professional and kind to both my daughter and I. I went to the location in Windermere. I truly love the hairdresser I had... I like my color As well as the cut.... however, I had called earlier to discuss details of price and the receptionist would not give me details... so when discussing price with the hairdresser she informed me it would be it would be fairly expensive.. it seemed outrageous to me that a simple baylayage, a dusting of my ends, and a toning would cost $300!! She said it probably wouldn’t cost that much because she would not have to do a full baylayage.. Ouch... I’m a mom of 2 and it just seemed so pricey... but being naive and too giving I was easily persuaded into signing the contract....thinking her word would stand... when I went to pay they racked on an additional $15 for which I have no idea why.. I am forced to pay an extremely high price of $315.... needless to say... that’s not what I expected to pay... I did love my stylist and I love the decor of the salon, but the price just isn’t justified... I feel truly swindled because I trusted in her word that the price would be less than 300 and not go above that if anything but in the end it did.......... I don’t know what to say....
