I'm being nice not giving a 2. Tried two different stylists on two different occasions. First time was definitely a 2 star cut. Second time was a 3 star cut. I'm not even picky about my hair, but I was disappointed.

I had black box hair dye, and one of the hair dressers did such a good job removing the colour and putting on a natural brown! And at a reasonable price for Canmore too! Definitely will go back

I've been getting my hair cut here for a few years now. Always affordable, always friendly, and never a bad cut. Not to mention, they are extremely fast. It can be hard to book a haircut as they are often busy... but it's hard to complain when the quality and price are both perfect.

I am not fancy, only cuting my ends once in few months. They do a great job. McKenzie is my favorite but Silena did really well today. Price now is a bit steep but other places are more expensive and the service is pretty much the same.

I got my hair dyed+cut last week. The stylist (Mackenize) did an absolutely amazing job. Like normally after I get a haircut I absolutely hate the way it looks, but not this time. I love(d) how my hair looks. Mackenzie did a phenomenal job and I fully intend to come back and get her to do my hair again. Thank you so so so much!!

Well hidden, in a building. The staff was very nice, although they only accept cash which they didn’t say on the phone so we had to go to an ATM which I didn’t enjoy. Hair were super ????

I was in canmore for the day and I decided to get my haircut. Normally I go to Canmore barber shop but it was closed because the hairdresser was sick. I decided to try out Eli's. I arrived there around 430pm on a Tuesday afternoon . There were 2 hairdressers there each cutting a clients hair. There was only one more man waiting to get his hair cut. As I was waiting one of the hairdressers ask me if they could help me, I told them simply I wanted a haircut. The lady told me tommorow was a better time. I told her this was a "walk in" place why can't I get a haircut Today? She said it's only walk ins when it's not busy. Considering there was only 3 people including myself I don't think it was busy, plain and simple.Too me it seems like they didn't want me as a customer , I would not recommend this place to anyone else

The customer service here is fantastic. I have been here a few times and I am never disappointed with the results. Best of all I don't feel like I have to get a third job when I see the bill. As long as I am in Canmore I would not even consider going any where else.

Staff are really great, I've been a regular for about 3 years. The only thing keeping me from a 5 star rating is that the price is a bit steep. Maybe I'm just used to much cheaper prices where I'm from!

Asked for a full head of BLONDE highlights (No Brown) as my hair has been coloured blonde for the past 10 years and I left with ashy brown hair. Never been so upset with the state my hair was left in. Granted I didn’t have the balls to tell the hairdresser then and there that I hated it so As soon as I got home I called. I said it was not what I had asked for or expected and I wanted it fixed and was told to ‘wash my hair in dish soap’ for a few days! Are you serious???I went in with blonde hair and darkish blonde roots and I left with a horrible grey ashy brown colour. My natural blonde absolutely ruined! Not to mention I payed over $200 for this disaster. The girl who did my hair was a lovely person and no disrespect to her character but her skills as a hairdresser are more than questionable! Gutted is an understatement! Avoid at all costs!

I enjoy going to Elli's Hair West for the the main reason that they are quite friendly to deal with. I usually use Terri (the owner) to do my hair, but any one of the girls are quite knowledgeable with doing their job and I would not hesitate to use anyone of them if Terri was not available. They all are exceptionally good with what they do. Good atmosphere...Exceptional staff...and great value too.

I took my daughter there for a walk in, we barely had to wait. Prince cut her hair, and did a wonderful job, as my daughter has high energy. She great with kids and kept her entertain long enough to finish hair. She one happy customer.
