I’ve only gone to Kat three times but every single time I’m super happy with my hair! They do book you in for longer for colours but it’s because they’re really do care about all the details. I recently got my hair dyed for the first time with Kat and it came out exactly how I wanted, even when it fades its supposed to look amazing! She’s an amazing colourist and stylist in general and I 100% recommend her. I was able to convince my family to start going to her once they saw how amazing the colour came out! The front desk staff is also always super friendly. I definitely recommend coming here, always have a great experience!

When I walked in the receptionist was very nice and welcoming. When the hair stylist come over to do our consultation, she just looked at the photo I had and said okay let’s get start. I would have Iike it better if we would have sat down, talked about the price and the details about what was going to happen. The process of getting my hair cut and dyed was about 3 hours. I was trying to make conversation with the hair stylist, but she didn’t really say anything. Once we were done, I went to the front desk and paid. The price was a little high for me personally. In the end I do love my hair cut and the service was very good.

Kareem has phenomenal skills with hair. He always listens and tries his 100% to incorporate what you want with what will actually look good on you. He gives you his honest opinion which I love. It's also hard to find someone who can trim beards at a salon (as opposed to a barber shop) with that much skill. 10/10 would recommend.

The hairdresser who cut my hair was lovely. However the haircut was terrible. I went back once so she could try to fix it, uneven length, funny looking layers. Unfortunately it still looks bad. I have had to wear my hair up since. Now just waiting for it to grow out. I spent almost 100$ with tip and left crying... Not good.

It isn't often I walk away from a new hair cut and not think "it'll grow in". After having a session with Chris I walked out with "perfect" in mind. She was fantastic! I vaguely described what I wanted in a hair cut, due to me not really knowing what I wanted, and she used what I gave her to give me my favourite hair salon experience. It was easy, relaxing, fun and exceeded all my expectations I had before going in. - she also saved my marriage.

It was very nice to be serviced by the owner himself Sam. He was nice and friendly. Did an awesome job cutting my hair. Nice clean Salon too. I had smiles from 2 of the staff, but some of them made me feel like another “insignificant” human being from the street. Any clients regardless of colour or status should feel very welcomed because they’re paying to come to you for service. I’ve been in several places where they do that, even go overboard sometimes, it feels great. But I don’t expect it to happen a lot so most of the time I just go in get the job done get out and never go back again. But I never give out reviews too except this time I felt honoured. Thank you.

It's not often I go to a salon because I usually grow my hair out but Sarah gave me such a nice cut and new style, I love the change and feel so refreshed! She also shared helpful tips for giving my hair more body, especially volumizing my roots. It's pricier but the quality and service are well worth it and the staff are so knowledgeable and personable. I'd highly recommend going to Dolce.

Wow! So I’ve been a client at Dolce for over 10 years (first and only hair salon I’ve used since I’ve moved here). I normally would give 5 stars because the stylists I’ve dealt with have been top notch and I’ve recommended highly!!! Today I walked in to ask a question (my stylist just moved so I couldn’t talk to her directly) so I was trying to speak with the receptionist but a woman who I’ve never seen before stepped in and basically looked at me (I’ll admit I wasn’t looking that great, I’m mid move and I was at university all day) but I was informed there’s different levels now of who would cut your hair (new policy?!) but she gave me the lowest (cheapest) as if that’s what I needed and NOT what I asked for (my hair is tricky and don’t want just anyone cutting it). Basically if you don’t want a price list with the cheapest price picked for you in pencil as if you are a second class citizen, don’t go here. Poor customer service!!!!!!!!

Since being back in Calgary I struggled to find someone that can cut hair. After, I received my first style from Kareem I knew I was in good hands. The whole experience was great from the welcoming coffee, the hair wash/massage, the cut, and final styling. You spend around 60 mins in the chair which may sound long but, you can tell he cares about every customer which is reflected in his attention to detail. Dolce salon has a great atmosphere and I highly recommend Kareem for your styling needs.

My husband and I have been going to Dolce Salon for a while now as our hair dresser moved to this location and we LOVE it. The new location in the mall is great and its designed so nice. The staff always greets us in a friendly manner and is always asking if we want water, tea or coffee. The atmosphere is welcoming and all the staff is fun and friendly. Most times my daughter and I sit and wait for my husband to be done and everyone is so friendly (Especially) with our 3.5 year old daughter. Thanks for all your great work. I left a 10% tip and was phoned the next day by the salon asking if there was a problem with the service. Really- is 10% not enough?

By far the worst blow dry I have EVER gotten! The top of my head was so frizzy, and the back of my hair was still damp. The real kicker was that it was close to double what I normally pay anywhere else. I would not have minded spending the money if at least it was a stellar blow out, but it was so bad that I put a beanie on to smoothe out the frizz while the back of my hair dried. I ended up just puting my hair in a bun. Even if it was free I would not go back; I can honestly do a better job myself.

I had an impromptu photoshoot over the christmas break, and was looking to get my hair refreshed and styled (in a bit of a panic, booking online on December 25). Dolce was able to get me in on the 26th, and was super flexible and lovely to work with! My stylist was Kat, who is probably my favourite stylist yet. (This is coming from someone who has worked with several different hair stylists to bleach and dye pastel colours). Kat has to be one of the most enthusiastic, and genuinely friendly people I've had the pleasure of working with yet. She knows what she is doing, and how to get the look you would like, and always very conscientious of your comfort throughout the process. (She also took the time to explain the entire process to me, and helped give me tips for maintenance at home, and was able to give me advice with a flat iron!) Unfortunately, while I'm only back for the break, I hope to return to Dolce in the future!

I've been seeing Chris for (10)years, at all the different salons she has been at (she is that good). I even drive across the city when I moved 6 years ago. I really like this salon she is in though. It gives her opportunities that other salons can't, and I've seen her grow as a stylist, which I didn't know was even possible. The salon also offers tons of other services. I've never left unhappy. They are all friendly, and I feel a team vibe. I hate when I've been to other salons and the stylists are just gossiping, or talking to each other instead of their client. Not here! Full focus on the client, everyone wants to make sure you leave happy, and I always do! Knowledgeable about products, gives tips to style hair, always gives a cut that you want.

I have been receiving haircuts from Kareem consistently for approximately three to four years. He’s fantastic. He’s extremely knowledgeable about how to cut men’s hair, including new styles, fades, and beard blending/grooming. In other words, he is happy to discuss a range of personally relevant topics and is equally happy to cut/style in silence depending on your level of engagement. As I posted on Yelp I would not recommend this salon. If i could give zero stars I would. They charge almost $300 for highlights and a cut and then cannot do the color properly. The owner did my hair twice leaving it dark brown, grey and patchy all over the second time when I had light blonde hair when I went in. The toner was left on too long while he chatted in the back or something was done wrong. Last year a girl (who had owned a hair salon) made a total mess of my hair. The owner said he didn’t know where she was going with it. The owner fixed it and seemed ok but I think he purposely ruined it when I went back and charged me more than I’ve ever paid even at a top salon (which his is not!) because of me not removing my Yelp review or to get back his time for fixing it. He said he checks reviews as soon as someone leaves one. When I purchased something there and he saw me afterward he was cowardly and ran in the back. Great way to do business. I had to pay to fix the color elsewhere so if you want $550 hair total for simple hilites and small trim, feel free to visit here. Photos of it are on Yelp.
