I've been going to Krista for about 3 years now. She is beyond fantastic. The BEST hair stylist I have ever had. I give her a suggestion and she tells me if it's right or not for me. She has never let me down in cut or colour. She is friendly and always great conversation. She's my only stylist.

I went in and got a color at this location and showed Jonnie a picture of what I wanted dark kinda purple under and rose gold highlights. I thought that was what I was getting but when he was done it was not the dark color that I was wanting it was just the rose gold and with my hair color it barely looked like I got a color done. I said I was happy with it cuz I liked the cut but I was not happy with the color and I didnt want to say that I was unhappy. Lesson learned as I guess I need to make sure that I make what I want known but I figured as I showed him a picture of what I wanted that he was doing that color.

Got my hair cut here by a philapino guy and never again coming back. I just wanted a trim because I was going to keep growing my hair out but he cut more then what I wanted now I have to cut it short again just to even it all out because it's soo uneven!

By far, the best Chatters location in Red Deer. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, great product selection, and lots of parking. This is the only Chatters location that isn't in a mall in Red Deer.

I was looking for an "emergency" cut & colour just before lockdown and was lucky to find a last minute appointment with Trinity at Chatters. She was both friendly and professional and went above and beyond finding creative ways to colour my hair the best way in a timely fashion in view of a late evening appointment. The staff were friendly and it was an overall good experience. It was a bit more expensive than I would have liked for what I had done and I was a little disappointed with how it turned out. However, I'd been getting my hair cut by the same person for years so I guess it's to be expected that it would be a bit different with a new person.

I had to rate this one star, but in reality the service was very unprofessional. My boyfriend and I went in to get him a perm at 6:30 earlier tonight. We were taken aback by how they treated us. All they did was convince us not to get one and they laughed at us. It was not just the hair stylist, it was all of the ladies who knew my boyfriend was going to get a perm. They saw it as a joke. He ended up just getting a trim but they charged us around $35 even though they didn't even shampoo his hair. Which we thought was included. Very disappointed.

This location is so unprofessional in their front counter customer service. My husband went in to get me product and the girl at the counter did not look up or greet him or ask if he needed help. He got the product and went to the counter and she couldn’t be bothered to look up from her paper to even acknowledge him. He set the product on the counter and waited ten minutes and eventually just walked out! This IS NOT customer service, and we spend thousands of dollars here! No more! I will order on line from another location. Shame on you chatters, you are better than this!

Definitely the worst cut I’ve ever had. Paid 30$ for my stylist to use a 9mm guard for the bottom half of my head then scissors for the middle and it is completely patchy with clearly defining lines around my whole head. She was done in 5 minutes didn’t give me a mirror to even look at the back and took my apron off and said she’d meet me by the front to pay. Used to go often to mediocre cuts but will not be going back after this one

Jess is fantastic! He did exactly what I wanted and I LOVE it. It was a dramatic change (-8 inches and from light brown to dark brown/red) and he pulled it off SO well. There was no tugging or pulling on my hair and there was no dye left on my hairline! There usually is because I’m so pale. But it just looks natural now. Everyone go see Jess here because he is a magician.

I got my hair cut by Mckenzie, she did a great job and didn't rush. I like when it takes a little bit of time. She added great layers and fixed all the issues from me cutting my own hair and getting bad haircuts. I felt way better about my hair after I visited. I also came in at a later time and got some product, absolutely fantastic recommendations. I have been to some really awful salons, even one with the same name at a different location so I know the difference.

Very disappointed. I asked for a little bit of face shaping and she cut me bangs. One side of my bangs sits at my forehead and the other side sits below my cheekbone, they are extremely uneven. I am beyond furious that my hair is ruined and will have to wait for it to grow back. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment unless you want your hair to be butchered by an inexperienced employee.

The staff are all friendly and welcoming. The store is clean and it's easy to get to. This is the most convenient location for myself.

Took both my son and husband here yesterday, not impressed with the quality of the haircut. I expressed to the gentleman with the black/blonde hair how I would like them styled, even stopped him with my spouse and said the back needed to be trimmed up more... Where he then proceeded to wash and dry his hair not making any adjustments. They both have uneven cuts and I have to take them in somewhere else to get them done. $50.00 in haircuts that will cost us more to get redone. Just avoid this location like the plague.

Went to chatters to get my hair coloured. I showed the stylist a picture of the look I was aiming for. I 100% understand that you will never get exactly what the picture is. But, my hair came out just about the same colour as it went in. I have brown hair and wanted a change, I wanted to go quite a bit lighter (balayage style). And I still have very brown hair now almost orange hair. Very disappointed. If the stylist wasn't able to that she should've said that instead I wasted 4 hours of my time and a large amount of my money. On top of that the stylist was very unprofessional with her conversations. Will not go back and will definitely not recommend this place to other people. Stay away!

DO NOT GO HERE! I had my hair done the other day, and asked for light brown highlights to go into my blonde hair. When she was blow drying it, it looked fine. But once I was outside and had a look at my hair my blonde was blue/green!!! The brown that they put in my hair was grey/black. I called and all they told me to do is SHOWER because it was the toner that made it turn that way. I showered, and nothing changed. Their stylist need to be more educated about the color services they are giving their clients. Horrible customer service and very unprofessional. Please take my word save you're money and go elsewhere where you can get what you came in for. Chatters has lost me as a client.

I originally left this location two stars after a bad experience here left me upset and fustrated. After that I recieved a phone call from their head office asking me what happend and that they'd like to offer me a free haircut immiedietly to try and help rectify the situation with a much more professional stylist then previous. I reluctantly agreed honestly but after leaving here today I am beyond happy with the results!! Nothing about the new visit felt guilty or wrong and they did it up better than I could've ever anticipated! I will absolutely 110% be returning for future cuts!! Wow!

Both my daughters (aged 8&5) had cuts this morning at the same time with different stylists. One got her hair washed, cut, blown dry, the stylist then consulted me to see if I was good with the cut and explained how/why the cut would work well, then curled her hair. The whole process was about 35-38 minutes long. My other daughter was in her stylists chair for 12 minutes total. No shampoo, no consultation with me towards the end, just a blunt cut and then brought her out to where I was sitting. The cut is mediocre at best, her hair is too thick to be cut blunt across, a good stylist would realize this. Washing someone's hair who comes in for a hair cut is a no brainer. I don't understand how I could take 2 little girls to a salon, pay the exact same amount of money for each of them and have completely different experiences. Won't go back.
