I went for my very first time for eyelash extensions because almost all my friends have it so I was like why not wanna know what's the hoot about it..got them done but they kept telling my boyfriend 10 like 5x and when it was done it looked good but later that night I realized that they weren't even glued on right!! And not just that it gets so much worse! I got eyelash extensions glue remover and they didn't come off i tried olive oil did not come off..this place is a rip off and I would suggest to not come there and not just that I've got my nails done there 3 times and they still messed it up..I'd suggest going to the hair & nail salon across from Chinook mall! They are the bomb!!! They are so nice.

Got lashes there .. worst job ever and I usually get lashes frequently none of the bottoms were glued on properly .. they tried to blame it on my previous lashes even though I came in for a fill ... told them over the phone I wanted a volume set then after she starts and I repeat it tells me they have no volume just the regular classic ... not pleased will not be returning

Terrible place to get your nails done!!! I went once to get gel nails and the price was high and quality was not, came back 2 days later to get my nails fixed because they looked terrible! Went in today to give them a second chance went in to remove my gel set and get a gel manicure. The nail "tech" named may removed my fake nails by using a loose acrylic nail and wedging it in between my real nail and the fake nail as you can imagine it was very painful at one point she jammed the loose acrylic nail in between my real nail and my skin causing it to bleed she also ripped a big part of my pinky nail from my actual skin. I got my gel polish done which looked messy and rushed. I'm definitely NOT coming back to this place !!!

Got my nails done here July 17th, 2020. It was gel, I believe costed $75- $85. Not sure which artist, it was my first time coming here for nails, they were friendly and the place was clean (mask required due to COVID-19). I felt she slight rushed at the end with the jewels, one was not placed the best... (kind of coming off the nail on my skin) and the nails have a different amount of jewls on each hand which makes my OCD go crazy haha????????I'm a fussy girl, please don't hate me!????????

It was an okay experience, they don’t have allot of choices for colours and they aren’t skilled with any of the new up coming trends. I only got to pick from 2 boards of colours and when she was doing my nails she didn’t seem very friendly and some of my nails aren’t the same size. I got light blue and one hand looks amazing and the other is very see though and short while the other is decently pigmented and the nails are the length that I wanted, plus I asked for Stiletto sets and I ended up getting an almond. It’s a okay place if your in a rush but I unfortunately won’t be returning.

I made an appointment to have my nails filled, to begin with the person at the front desk couldn’t give me any pricing. Ok, fine I would ask when the technician came to start my nails. The girls weren’t speaking any English around me, which always makes it a bit uncomfortable. Then During my fill the tech got up to do other things about 4 different times! My nails ended up getting rushed by the end it seemed and I had a few uneven spots at the end(she didn’t even check for imperfections) Needless to say my appointment took longer than it should have. I Really wasn’t impressed by the service there at all.

I don't see how it is possible that the lady that does the nails has a license to do so. She has been there for a while and is awful. Worst service ever. Her shellac is SO thick and peels off. I asked for 10 flowers on my daughters nails and she did "dot" flowers which my 9 year old daughter could have done herself. They also charged me a fortune for it. She clearly... CLEARLY doesnt know how to do nail art and has no business charging for it. When she wiped the gel off my daughters hands the nails were still sticky and i touched the flower on my daughters nails and it wiped off as well as left a residue on my finger and she told me it happened because i scratched it. Excuse me.. what is the point in having shellac if you cant touch it. The whole point is that it doesn't crack or chip or get scratched. Especially when you are still sitting in the chair. When i asked her to fix the nail she put on another large amount of gel to her finger and sat there with her arms crossed. I get my own nails done ALL the time, This girl is the worst i have ever seen. i paid 36 for shellac on my 9 year old daughter with dots for flowers. Awful quality, awful work and awful, awful service. Save yourself the money, They are not a professional nail salon. Dont make the same mistake i did by wasting your money there. Go to a nail salon with PROFESSIONAL - TRAINED nail technicians. This was supposed to be a nice treat for my daughter, which turned into a very negative experience due to your staff. Thanks for nothing.

I honestly don't know why it took me so long to stop going here. Way to expensive for Gel nails especially because the lady doesn't do a great job, nails come off super quick. And the amount of times that I have been there you would think they would give me a lower price for nails but Nope, $80 every single time. The only thing they do great is Hair however still a little expensive for just layers and color, charged me $175.

I have been coming here for around 6 years and I have never had a bad experience! They are like my second family! I get my hair, gel nails, pedicures, and eyebrows threaded here! It's literally my go to for everything lol highly recommend this salon! If you need a colour go to Rachel she's unbelievable! She has coloured my hair from blonde to black and now platinum with no brassy colour or dry breakage! She knows her stuff!

If I could attach photos I would. This is by far the worse manicure that I have ever received. The quality or the workmanship is subpar at best. I went in on Saturday, April 18 2015, with two of my girlfriends. To be fair the job done on my toes and the pedicure experience wasn’t terrible. The issue arose however when we got to the manicure portion of the session. I have never have been so cut in my life, very rough on my hands whilst trimming my cuticles. I asked how much the mani-pedi would be she said 60, which wasn’t unreasonable in my mind. My girlfriend noticed a sign out front that said on special a mani pedi was 49, when I asked the question when I went to pay it became a full blown argument. Apparently it didn’t count the service that I was provided, she went above and beyond and I said 60 was fine early why am I being dishonest. It was infuriating, I paid and left, the full 63. To add insult to injury its now a mere 3.5 days and my nails are all chipped and faded. I will never go back to this salon and I will ensure that no one in my circles of friends will go here either.

Terrible Nail Salon, went in there today getting a mani-pedi and it was just bad. Not a huge selection of polish colours, it too forever to get done and it was done poorly. I had to go back home and take it off and file my nails so it doesn't get caught on everything. Do waste your money!

I am horrified at their service. My wife got the eyelashes done there and she pressured me to buy their mascara which i did. Then two days later, without even opening or doing anything with the product, i took it to store to return. The store owner took it from me, opened the packaging herself and said she cant return because its already opened! She outright lied in front of me and refused to give me the refund. Such DISHONEST people should be avoided at all costs.

Very bad experience with nails there. I had to return two times because the shellac keep peeling. The worse part is that the manager made me feel so uncomfortable she was trying to blame the problem on me. She even ask me if I bight my nails so rude. My nails were natural and they keep filling with the machines to remove my shellac and ofcourse my nail just broke at the next day again because it was extremely thin. I told them to just soak the nails in the liquid removal so my nail would not get to thin but they didn't listen ????

I went to this salon this afternoon because I am currently on the hunt for a new shampoo and conditioner. Right when I walked in I was greeted by a woman with long blonde hair(tied in a ponytail) working the front desk/till. She asked if there was something I was looking for. I told her I was browsing for a new shampoo. She then said "These shampoos are very good, but they're really expensive" with an attitude. I'm not quite sure what she meant considering this not the first time I bought salon haircare. Anyway, I disregarded comment and just went about my business. I then told her I wasn't currently happy with my salon shampoo and conditioner so I wanted to see if J Beverly Hills shampoos was any good because expensive doesn't always equal better. She then again told me "it's expensive". At this point I was more than annoyed because I asked for the quality and not the price. When I was ready to pay, she walked away and passed me on to another lady who was quite friendly and not rude as she is. In case the salon or that blonde woman reads this, your main objective is to SELL. So unless someone asks for a price, I suggest you assume everyone that walks in can more than afford your products/services. Needless to say, I'm taking my business elsewhere.

I used to go to a different salon for my haircut but 2 years ago it moved to a location that is inconvenient for me to go to, so I thought I would give Advance a try since I work in the same mall. Alex cut my hair, he understood exactly what I wanted for my hairstyle and was very efficient with the work. I have been going there since then and was very happy every time. Ive went to the nail studio at sunridge as well (near starbucks) but i will never go there again. i walked by this salon & asked about their prices and etc. and one lady who does nails gave me all the information i needed. i decided to give it a shot and get an acryllic fill with shellac & i do not regret it. i didnt get her name but she was amazing. she was gentle with my hands, didnt burn my skin or hurt me. took her time with the job & was super kind! im going to bring my mom here next time & go to this same lady!!! she massaged my hands after and put oil and lotion on them, which i didnt know they did!!! amazing service!!! highly reccommend!!!!

I’ve had my nails done there ever since 2018 and they would always come out pretty and never disappoints. They are all nice and understanding. The only disappointing thing is 1. There’s not that much options for designs 2. When I’d get my nails done she would file too close to my skin and it would burn 3. There would be a gap between the acrylic and cuticle but that could be just me- I prefer natural looking nails and lastly the tools andor station doesn’t seem as sanitary but I haven’t had any infections or problems :) Today I had money do my nails and she was great, corrected herself whenever she made a mistake. I recommend this place if you are looking for a walk in salon <3 (some days there could be a wait due to other customers)

I got highlights first time and the staff luan and foram were welcoming and nice. They asked me to pay 232 dollars including GSTAfter it was done i realized left side of my head was brown highlights instead of ashy tones and right side was kind of ashy. I initially asked for ash blonde! I called them and went back to get it corrected both foram and luan were not there so the owner a chinese lady told me that i paid very less than what i should have paid. She repeated this for million of times then asked me what i do for work and when i bought a shampoo and hair serum altogether for 55 dollars she charged me 85 dollars i asked her why such high price she said its tax. I calculated the prices myself then she changed it to 60+ dollars. This woman is completely disgraceful and only worries about money! My highlights ended up looking like trash after toning done the next day. When i called them they were not ready to listen and kept on arguing that i should wash my hair and they will turn to ash blonde! I don’t know what world they live in and why think that the client is stupid . Please dont go here ,the owner is not only rude but will keep behaving as if the client is her student and she is the dictator, she will put you down and ruin the whole experience! No wonder this salon is always empty! I had to get it corrected and redone from scratch from another hair salon where i was treated well and valued!!!

I had a worst experience with them. I was their for nail extensions about 1 week ago and all my nails get off with in a week. on the same day paint started getting off from one of the nail and next day same thing happen with another nail. Then I called them then lady said u can come and we will fix that and i was ok with it but when i visited them she does not paid any attention and made me wait for 15 minutes and when i asked her to change color of all nails as they have air bubbles in them she said u need to pay extra for that and i was not ready to do so and within a week all of my nails are completely off and they were not broken just get off. worst service i ever received and wastage of money.

The nail shapes are very inconsistent and the length on my right hand is longer than my left hands nails. There is nail polish and glue left on my cuticles and skin which I have been trying to remove for the past couple of days. After I got my nails done I had to file off access acrylic hanging off the sides of my nails. I'm really disappointed with the service.

My daughter and I have been going to this salon forever and we love the friendly and helpful staff. We’ve been going to see Eileen and she does a great job with our haircut, colour and highlights. She takes her time, listens and cares about doing a great job on our hair. I went as a walk in and they were able to accommodate me for a hair cut. Silva was very nice and she did a great job with my hair even though she couldn't see my whole face with the mask on. The cost of the hair cut was reasonably priced for someone with very long hair, so I was happy about that. I would go back for sure.

I love seeing the lovely ladies here. Diep has been doing my nails for over 10 years. I always feel so welcome and at home when I go in. My nails always look sooo great. And when I bring my daughter for her mani or pedi they make her feel so special as well and treat all the younger kids I've seen so well. Firstly..she cut my nails so short and they are all uneven and they don't look long and elegant but rather short and stubby..I will NEVER get my nails done there again! Her name is May..fyi...i am going back to Wal-Mart in Airdrie where they are much more professional and cleaner utensils.

I visited this salon for a gel fill manicure and was very impressed. I was attended to quickly and the girl who did my nails did a very neat and professional job. She made my nails look great, the price was good and I am very satisfied and will go back again. After the manicure, I had a massage treatment by Ahn. She really knows how to get the pains out - I highly recommend her services to anyone who is looking for knowledgeable treatment! Everyone should see her for a foot reflexology treatment - and she'll tell YOU what's going on in your body ;) Overall, I highly recommend Advance Hair & Spa in the Sundridge Mall!

I absolutely loved my experience at the spa today. I had a pedicure and eyebrow threading done. From the moment I walked in I knew I picked the right place! Everyone was so kind and welcoming. The staff truly seemed happy and were enjoying themselves. I noticed that the spa was extremely clean and hygienic which is something that is very important to me. While getting the pedicure I mentioned to my friend that I really needed to get my eyebrows done. The aesthetician heard me and talked to her colleague who does eyes brows. They fit me in for an appointment right away. I LOVE my brows! She is such a pro! I will definitely be back again :)

UPDATE: The owner has since changed her reply to me. She didn't bother to read my review, thought that I was talking about a recent experience (even though I stated that it wasn't recent and I even gave the name of the hair stylist). Initially she promised to make it up to me (I have a screenshot of her original reply if you want to see it), then she deleted it and when I called the salon, they said that they cannot make it up to me because they are under a new management. It doesn't matter. The point is that you (owner) didn't bother to read my review and accidentally made a promise to make it up to me. You should still honor your promise. It's not my fault that you didn't read. I said the stylist's name was Nicole, didn't I? Why would you think I was talking about someone else? If I had accidentally made a promise to my customer, I would have honored it. To everyone reading this, I am happy to send you a screenshot of her original reply so you can see that the owner doesn't keep her words. I had my extensions dyed by Nicole and at first, she promised to get the color pastel pink just like my picture. However, my hair turned hot pink. I protested. She then proceeded to wash my hair again to lighten the color but it just made the color blotchy. She was rude about it, saying that the salon doesn't have pastel pink but gave no explanation why she promised to get my desired color. She then defended the blotchiness by saying that she had to wash my hair again because I was complaining about the color. Worst money I have spent. I have no idea if Nicole still works here or not but I need to let someone know that this happened and now years later, this terrible experience (which I never got compensated for) still has not left my mind.

Got my nails done here a few weeks ago and absolutely hated it. I’ve been here before some years back and the service was good and price was reasonable, but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. The picture I used as reference vs what I got were 2 complete opposites. On top of me disliking what I got on my nails, I see what appears to be crust from the glue (I am assuming) on my nail close to my cuticle, as well as air bubbles from the gel.. I will never come here again and although I want to believe that it was just the nail artists issue I refuse to come back.

The worst hair experience ever, I had this Indian hairdresser which was amateur and she did not know what she was doing. She gave me uneven haircut and when I confronted her she said " there isn't anything wrong with it." Then an Asian looking guy came around thinking he knows it all then he was like " That looks fine" . I was furious they were soo inconsiderate and didn't acknowledge the fact I was upset with the service. I made a complaint to the owner when I was paying and she didn't even seem to care. Everyone please keep your money and don't waste it here. Ultimate terribly experience ever!!!!!
