Fun place to swim or play Ball when the gym and pool are open

Definitely a superior gym to most others I've been to. I love that even when this gym is busy it never seems as crazy as other gyms I've been to. The gym is always clean and is very aesthetically pleasing as well! They have a good selection of weight and cardio machines, and did I mention you can watch Netflix on the treadmills and ellipticals? Really does make the time go by faster. This gym is very family oriented, which is great! However, some machines only have one of a kind and I do have to say it is kind of frustrating when some days there are young children running around unattended "using them", which ultimately then I have to wait for or skip in my circuit... I have just reached the time of renewal for my membership and that's a big consideration I have.

I’ve been coming to this place for about 4 years now. So many fun times and memories but today I went for a swim with my friends, and when I finished swimming, I went to grab my chain (necklace) and the life guard accused and publicly embarrassed me because he thought I had stolen the “MY” chain and made me individually ask every person. I felt very offended and embarrassed that he would just accuse me like that. If I could get his name, things won’t go very well.

Awesome gym but it is a bit pricey. The adult membership is 26.50 bi-weekly. The price is more than a traditional gym but you get a lot more. For the 26.50 bi-weekly you get a full cardio gym, weight room, basketball gum and Olympic sized pool. The YMCA is a great gym but comes at a steep cost.

Good amount and variety of equipment, friendly and accomodating staff, plenty of programming/classes, as well as a 25m pool. An excellent place for beginners, adepts, and experts in fitness to gain and maintain.

They rip you off at the YMCA I don't recommend this place as it is a knockoff and I have been taking swimming lessons at the YMCA for a while but they said I didn't make it to bronze and I always heard from the lifeguard/swimming instructor that I made it to bronze but the workers said I didn't it is a total waste of money

We've been members since they opened in the fall. I really can't say enough good things about the YMCA. We have a fairly young family (three daughters aged 6,4, and 1) and we all love it here. The facilities are great--new and always clean. The programs are plentiful for children and adults. What makes this place shine though is the staff. The front desk staff, children program staff, management, building maintenance and life guards are all excellent. They are all personal and professional. They strike a tough balance between policies to make the place safe and fair for everyone, yet practical and fun. *** Keep in mind that reviews prior to November 2016 are of the old facility.

I am sure they are great but in my situation my son worked hard to get his life guard and was exited to get a job at the WMCA and was very nervous made some errors which he realized at the time. They promised to contact him. They called he was nervous to answer the phone due to fear of rejection. But the returned the call many times. Know we are not to impressed of the professionalism of the people doing the hiring. We feel he deserve more respect then this and are very disappointed.

Very complicated gym to navigate thru. Went through for the first time and it was a bad experience. Had to walk around the complex for at least 30 mins before I came across a desk with someone in it. When I finally got what I came for I found it to be a very small gym and not a lot of equipment. Not a good experience for me

The central park facility is the premier facility in windsor. Indoor Soccer. BASEBALL AND hockey rinks. YMCA is part of the facility. Super clean with a great pool and excersise room. I really enjoyed the day care facility for toddlers. Basketball court was awesome. Clean shower facility.

Fitness area is bright and airy. Not an extensive selection of equipment, but good enough for the average user. No bros on the "gear" there either, which is nice. Avoid Friday nights, though, as it's "Kid's Night" and very chaotic.

Small children on the large equipment, usually just sitting and playing with phones. I shouldn’t have to ask other people’s children to get off a machine. Small children in the heavy equipment room where people are not watching for them is an accident waiting to happen. Last night a staff member walked through and said nothing to the two preschoolers on treadmills. The elliptical machines and others with moving parts could seriously injure a child.

Brand new 2016 facility and programs are top notch! Now located on Grand Marais at the Central Park Athletics complex. A total family place with child minding so parents can work out, childrens programing, brand new 25 meter pool with swimming lessons for adults and children, and aqua fit class. Wellness coaching, individualized training programs and so much more are all included with your individual or family membership. If you haven't been there to check it out go! THEY HAVE SPARED NO EXPENSE the place is stellar.
