I've been going here the past 2 weeks after step 3 was allowing us to work out again. Friendly staff always saying hello and say have a good workout. Love the pool and workout equipment. I tend to go super early or When child care is closed just due to the times when I went the gym was cramped during those hours ( but love those services for the future) that's just my preference though! Awesome place

Small operation, clean, but biggest issue is no way to exit contract. Once you have a 1 year, you have to pay even if you move, lose your job or have medical emergencies. First gym I've seen where you can't pay to exit the contract. This goes to show money comes before customer.

The staff here is really friendly and the gym is nice. I’m giving it a 3 star because they don’t really enforce cleaning your machine after each use. It is a really small gym and some of the machines are out dated and theres only (for the most part) one of every machine. So if you want to do abs and someones already doing abs, too bad.. however you can still get a good work out in trying other things.

There's good value for your money here. Update: They've renovated the steamroom and they did a great job. The men's showers still don't have curtains 5 months after my initial review. It's usually pretty empty during the day. There's a good selection of cardio equipment, and more than enough strengthening equipment. They also have other group exercise rooms, and free classes to join if you're into that. The pool is small, but looks relaxing. Staff are friendly enough. They have a dry sauna room, which is large, but not really warm enough to break a sweat unless you stay in for 15 min or more. The shower room is extremely old and in dire need of repair. For some bazaar reason, there's no shower curtains in the men's showers. I informed one of the staff that I had a creep watching me naked in the shower, which is why this review will stay 3 stars until the privacy issue gets resolved. Not sure why a gym would forget something so mandatory. Apparently they're also being renovated at some point, but don't count on it. Overall, I'm happy so far with the price and the experience, except for the showers... they're creepy as all hell...lol.

The staff at Riverside Family Fitness always makes me feel like part of their Family! Joey and his amazing trainers always take the time to answer my fitness questions because they want to see their members safely meet their goals. This facility is always kept clean and all the weights and equipment are always put away. One last thing is the members here are awesome, it's a very friendly environment and I always feel comfortable during my workouts !!!

Great place to work out, and I definitely feel more welcome here than at the chain gyms. The atmosphere is really friendly, and not intimidating at all. The equipment is well maintained and the facility has always been really clean, which is always a bonus. The only downside is that it’s a little cramped when it’s super busy, but what place isn’t at peak workout times?

I love this gym!! It has a pool! A HEATED pool! Need i say more!! But in all seriousness, its great here. I was never a gym member any where before. I never thought I'd ever be happy to go to one! But i honestly love it here. Everyone is so nice and friendly. I joined due to the pool but i now use other equipment. Did i mention its a heated pool!! Well it is!! :D Thanks Family fitness!!

Still taking money out of my account when my year membership was finished. Said it continues for 60 days after, how does a 1 year membership become 14 months. Would never recommend them to anyone. I have made a complaint to the BBC.

Well they have a pool which is supposed to be at 87 degrees but I'm not to sure about that...will take my temp gage in next time...also its 42 bucks a month and they pin u into a year, so if u wanna quit u are required to pay the full amount then quit....old practices, thats why these new clubs are way better...ten bucks a month....but atleast these guys have a pool...only reason I go here!!! Its also respectively clean, I've never seen the girls behind the counters actually clean any machine ever...thats on u to avoid covid or flu type ????

The gym itself is great, just lacks free standing machines. The cancellation fee is north of 160$, so if your looking for something to "try" definitely wouldn't start with this one.

Family owned and operated! What an awesome place. Clean, friendly, upbeat atmosphere. The staff is great and knowledgeable. The change rooms are stunning, the aerobics classes are awesome and the gym floor is comfortable. definitely go check it out. the trainers are top notch.

The equipment and facility is always so clean and I've learnt so may things about fitness since I've started. The knowlage the trainers have and give out to others so helpful!!! I have been a member for 4 months now, actually since the new owners took over. Joe & Julie, both body builders, have transformed the space and atmosphere of this gym, and made it very welcoming and family friendly. One side is set up for weight training, the opposite side set up with cardio machines, a separate room with a pool for aqua classes, and other separate rooms set up for yoga, pilates, land aerobics, spin classes, with more to come (like body camp!) The hours are good, as they have accommodated shift workers and those who work weekends so they can attend before or after work. And, lastly, this gym has the friendliest members....they help you when you ask, they greet you when you walk in the door....and the staff working the counter are amazing and will make you a protein shake when asked and they always have free coffee on! I really enjoy this gym!!

I joined a few years back and shortly after that I had a bad car accident . Everything was going well until that time. I have been diagnosed with a TBI and I struggle with day to day memory issues . When the Red zone started and the Mindbody App was in use, I would accidently book 2 appointmenst in a day. I was called by the "new " manager Gabrielle and scolded and threatened like a child. I explained my situation to her, Joey and Julie the owners and they would have nothing of it. ( as a side note, Joey said I could come back if there were open spots on the App ) They blocked my App use and then 2 days later cancelled my membership over the phone . Toxic management, decent gym for 30 yr old equipment

I met great people and i received great results and made new friends. The title says it all, you become part of there gym family. This place is very overpriced. These crooks ripped me off a month gym fees after i gave them proper 30 days notice. This place is small and cramped. Machines are very old and outdated. The place looks clean but its smells very bad in there and has poor ventilation. There are alot better cheaper places in windsor. Save some money folks, dont get trapped into a years memebership here.. Go to planet fitness or crunch.

We visit this gym quite often during the week. It's always clean and the staff are helpful and welcoming. They have a variety of classes (spin, yoga, trx) that are fantastic. Living in Riverside, it's in a super convenient location and there's always lots of parking!

Very friendly, family atmosphere along with dynamic and knowledgeable staff whom pride themselves in customer service , and knowing the clients names as well as their needs. Owners Joey and Julie , Gabby and her management team and the trainers are always looking out for their clients well being, always available should anyone have concerns or need help. Gym is kept very clean, offers numerous classes to fit everyone ‘s schedule and are open to any suggestions you may have. You never feel intimidated coming in like some of the other chain gyms .

I can't honestly say enough about this gym. I totally recommend it to everyone. I was totally embarrassed going in. But, that quickly changed. My trainer is AMAZING!!! She is teaching me so much. There is no judging or fat shaming which means a lot to me as I just had a baby and was having difficulties losing weight. The staff is super friendly and truly want people to succeed. I suffered badly from sciatica/bulging disc for 3 months after my daughter was born and couldn't get up my stairs without pain. I'm now doing things that I never thought I would do again. Any woman that is afraid to get healthy seriously needs to consider training here. I have been at a gym (won't say where) most of my life and never got results. I will never go to another gym. The last thing I will say is about the owners. They are fantastic!!! They are not in it for the money, they are compassionate, caring people, who truly love fitness. I can say truthfully and from the bottom of my heart say that I haven't been this happy in years! Thank you to the staff, owners and my trainer, Chantel for everything!!!

Joined a boot camp a couple weeks ago at riverside fitness and i'm really enjoying it so far. Very motivating class with a great instructor, Samantha is amazing. It's two times a week for 8 weeks, I'm already seeing great results lost six pounds in three weeks. Awesome staff everyone is very friendly, check out this gym its awesome!

By far my favorite gym! Always clean and bright, great workout environment with all the equipment you need. Despite having many gyms closer to my home, I much prefer Riverside Family Fitness over them. The staff and trainers are motivational and happy to help you. I have been going to Riverside Family Fitness since the Flores Family took over. I can remember my Grandmother talking about the gym in its original ownership days, until her very last days and now I find myself saying the same things she did even as so many years and owners have come and gone. The Flores family has let tradition live on! -family orientated club -owners who care -always new and innovative equipment and services -great rates -always clean, always! -community atmosphere -no drama in sight! -amazing team of trainers, regardless of your goals! -independent workout areas -sauna, steam room, showers and a pool! -child watch -local family orientated owners! I like the gym, any problem that arises the staff are quick to fix. Love the steam room after a good work out on the treadmill. Kids have fun in the daycare. Over all...nice place to escape from the stresses of every day life. I’m adding to this review...I recently wanted to cancel my 1yr membership and pay some kind of fee but I was told I couldn’t cancel it till the month before. So make sure you really are committed to this 1year. Disappointed about this. Learning experience on my part.

Bad experience with recent membership cancellation. Was refused the initial signing amount refund and was misinformed about 1 day trail pass. Shows free online but the receptionist asked me to pay $15. Cancelling the membership should have been a refund for at least the first 10 days which is regulated by the consumer act (2001). Looking more into it. Although the facility is good and clean, very unhelpful staff.

The cleanest gym I’ve ever stepped foot in! They have the most up to date machines and machines that no other gyms have in Windsor! The staff is always friendly and pleasant, the trainers are Windsor’s BEST and amazing at getting you results!
