Ive been to my fair share of gyms in the area, and I have to say crunch is by far the best. From the staff to the gym as a whole is amazing. Not to mention I get access to more than 200 locations! For 20$! Their price/service cannot be beat.

Great Gym! - has all the equipment I need. Been a member since Nov 2016. The staff are great too but Tracey is the stand out. Everybody loves Tracey!! She’s by far the best! Head and shoulders above everyone else. Always so helpful - always so pleasant - always so understanding. I look forward to seeing her happy face everyday. It’s such a shame she’s not there at weekends but I know she needs to rest???? She seems to know everyone - is always complementing people on their progress and manages to make time to find out how your day is going and your workout. I was gobsmacked when I learnt about her health issues in a recent magazine. You would never have known such a lovely person has gone through what she has. Thank you Tracey

Good for a quick workout. Do not have dumbbells in fitness room to use as they do in other gyms. Mentioned this to the front desk and they said they have to keep them locked because people don't place them back.Friendly staff however.

Good customer service, always smiling faces in the front when you check in, the trainers are very well adaptive to your schedules especially ( Nick) offer you good tips and suggestions for optimal health and exercise. They have Zumba fitness and other classes. The greatest help is child care while you exercise.

Very crowded in the evening like any other gym. Alot of equipment are broken or the leather on the seats or machones r ripping off.. It makes it uncomfortable to workout since its ripping on ur skin. Regardless, the people that work there are awesome, people at the gym r considerate of others and i noticed most people clean the equipment once theyre done using it.

It is relatively cheap to get a gym membership here. The staff is kind and helpful. The gym goers are nice and not judgemental. The only issue I have is that the equipment and facilities are not tip top. There are holes in the wall and broken mirrors not fixed. They said that saunas would be installed over 3 years ago and the washrooms are not great either. But if you are looking for a bare bones gym membership. Look no further

My friend went to cancel their subscription, they told him his contract was over so he was allowed and that he would only be charged $10 once more because of they needed 30 days in advance before cancelling. Well they charged him an extra $40 on top of the $10. When he called and asked for a refund they told him they could not tell him why he was charge the $40 and that he couldn’t get a refund. He then asked to speak to a manager who told him he would only be able to get a $25 refund. This is ridiculous and they are charging money that they shouldn’t.

Cheap, crowded, a lot of equipment are out of commission and need repair, limited equipment for number of people. If you're looking for cheap gym membership and nice staff, this gym is great. Be aware of wordy/difficult cancellation policy and crowded gym.

Problems since the beginning. I signed up with a first month for $1 promotion. They charged me the full $32 and said to contact the manager, Sue, who never responded to me. I decided to let it go and deal with it. Then they were shut down due to covid and I was unable to cancel my membership as there was no one in the gym working either. Once they opened I called to cancel and was told I had to come into the gym to do so. I went into the gym to cancel since child care and everything else my membership includes is still closed and was informed that I could freeze my account until the child care reopened and not be charged for the following month, and 6 months thereafter. I decided to go this route as it sounded like a good idea. 3 days later I was charged for September anyway. I called to find out why and that is when I was informed that it takes 10 days to freeze the account. So I asked what was the point of freezing if I would still pay the month anyway. The employee agreed that this made no sense to them either and that whoever I was working with should have mentioned that since I was there 3 days before the billing period and clearly within the 10 days to freeze. So I requested to cancel as I had intended and was then informed that I can but I will now be billed for the following month (October) as I am now within the 30 days to cancel. They directed me to contact managemen, Sue, and I have. Sie is now attempting to charge me $100, the month I was willing to pay to cancel (September), the month they are making me pay due to their error (October) and the annual fees that I just paid on August 24th. I had and used my membership for 1 month before the lockdown but somehow have to pay the annual fees twice less than 30 days apart. AND I am being charged for 2 months due to their error. My first month that should have only been $1, and a month after the month of cancelation. They gym and staff are good, the child care is good. Horrible management who cares more about ripping people off than keeping her customers.

Can’t beat the price. Has new equipment. I like that the temperature is always decently controlled. Crowded almost everyday after 4pm (except weekends) which slows down my workout, waiting for machines. Takes a loooooong time to fix the cardio machines. Staff definitely did NOT impress me when I have had concerns. No gym is perfect but I wouldn’t particularly recommend this place.

I love this place. The daycare is exceptional; my daughter loves going. My only complaint is rude people sitting on machines not actually using them, too hot and at times very smelly. Ladies washrooms are not always the cleanest.

Cheap gym, but lack of equipment makes waits long that require anything with a bar. 5 out of 9 stations are missing a bar, so the 4 they have must be rotated which is timely and annoying

This company pulled out yearly membership renewal fees months ahead of their scheduled date for many members. This was done during the peak of the pandemic in May. I called and was told they were supposed to come out in July, but due to a “mistake while updating the system” it came out when they were closed and completely unreachable ahead of schedule. They also did not provide a notice or invoice that this was happening. They offered no apology and said “you would have been charged after we reopened anyway” instead of acknowledging that charging hundreds of people in an already difficult situation their yearly fee ahead of schedule might be a predatory and terrible business practice. Of course, they were closed during this time and completely unreachable by phone, email, and social media for explanation. Not that they would have been apologetic anyway, apparently. I’ll be cancelling my membership. The city deserves better than this gym.

Nice gym for the price. Change rooms are very basic, no sauna, the men's washroom fan is very loud and needs to be replaced. Staff is very nice and helpful you can tell they love what they do!

Good gym and great price. Staff are friendly! Great environment. Only thing is that it takes a few weeks up to a month for repairs. There are leaks because of a faulty roof, therefore buckets every where. Aside from that, I enjoy working out here.

I wouldn't even give this gym a star. I'm quite upset with the recent customer service. I've been a member since they opened, and had done personal training there. Once they reopened in July after their covid closure, they didn't contact ANY OF THEIR MEMBERS to ask if they felt comfortable coming back, they simply signed them back up and continued to charge. Due to the unprecedented times, they should've been more considerate. Once j contacted them to cancel, they not only said they wouldn't refund me but I also had to continue to pay the next month because I didn't cancel 30 days in advance. I emailed their manager and never heard a response. Terrible customer service, especially considering the circumstances. I understand its a business but they should have reached out to their customer base.

love this g;ym, the equipment is great and the gym itself is very clean, sometimes there's water on the floor from a leaking roof, but i guess they can't help that. The staff is great so friendly and helpful, just wish the lockers were a little larger, especially in winter., also would like to know who picks the tv stations!

I like this location better than the Lauzon Rd location. It's further for me to travel and a smaller gym, however they have zumba in the evenings at 7 which is a great time. It's air conditioned well and kept clean.

Best gym in Windsor for the money, very professional, very laid back down to earth environment. You do not need to pay a crazy gym membership fee every month when you have everything you need. This gym is great for any level of experience. The staff here is also great, they are very welcoming and have a passion for fitness. I recommend this gym to anyone of any fitness level. The gym is also very clean and organized.

Good place to work out in the mornings when it is slow. The water fountain needs fixing. A new replacement water fountain would be nice! Staff is great! (Vu is doing an excellent job working there) The gym temperature needs to be lowered. I'm still waiting for the sauna as promised on membership sign up. Overall a good place to work out !

PRO TIP: Try going through your credit card for a refund. I did this and showed them my emails with the manager, showed them my proof, got a new credit card and was refunded everything. Absolutely NO communication when COVID hit! Just as previous reviews. No emails, no texts, no flyers, no postage on the store, no phone number to call (since the store was closed) and if you were logged on to the crunch website- then clicking "contact us" brought you to the american branches so you really had NO way of communicating with them. ---I have a whole long story like everyone else. I can confirm communicating with the manager was awful, the store always had broken machines and buckets for their leaks. The staff were always nice to me though.

Crunch did not give customers the ability to cancel their accounts after Covid hit. We moved away yet despite this we were charged for months of two membership fees, even after calling, sending emails, and asking to cancel. Unacceptable profiteering off of customers who can't afford to be paying for services they can't access.

Very bad customer service regarding charges. When I signed up they said they got a promotion 1st month is only $5 and then starting at regular price. They charged me the $5 and the regular fee on the first month. Tried fighting to get my money back but they said nothing they can do. When they opened after Covid19 they charged me right away even though I have a package that includes day care and classes which were not even opened. Went in to fight to get my money back and Sue the manager was not very nice at all. Bad attitude and kept arguing with me that they can't refund me what was already charged. Feel bad for the awesome trainers I've met there!

Wearing a mask is not mandatory which is odd, since I have to wear one in every other store I enter. Employees slack in enforcing the mask rule they have in place which is when moving from machine to machine you must wear one. Avoid going here if you can.

Don't support this gym by going to it. Gym has been open for less than a few weeks. I went in last week to cancel my membership and was told by 2 guys at the counter there was no other fees. Called them few days later because $56 were withdrawn from my account and was told $56 is a maintenance fee. $56 fee for maintenance when the gym has been over for less than a month? Scumbag owner.

Pros....Awesome staff. Great price. Only 2 stars because no reinvestment. I have been a member since beginning of when it was World Gym. As of today, one of the 2 stair masters broken. (Very rarely are both operational). Both rowing machines out of order. 2 treadmills out of service. The bars for bench press/other stations have been missing because some people tried to use them in corners and broke them. They are currently short 4 of those for some time now with no replacements in site. Quite annoying when gym is busy. Guess for 9.99 a month I am getting what I paid for.

Use to be much much better when it was World Gym..Now broken machines for months and months. I think the buckets sitting around to catch leaks from celing have been there since Crunch took over...Rowing machine broken for months....saw both working at same time probably for one week....Stairmaster broken...smelly locker rooms... The only thing good are staff..clearly management sucks...

This gym offers a wide variety of equipment at a budget rate. Never overly crowed so getting on the equipment does not require a long wait. The biggest plus for this specific gym is the staff, in particular Beth. She brings a warm smile and a welcoming personality each and every time I enter and leave the building. The only negative I have is that equipment repair takes a long time.

The gym itself is fine. Has just about all the equipment you can ask for. Relatively clean. Bathroom was under maintenance for the 2 months I was an active member (earlier in the year before COVID shut things down). Staff are in their own world. Zero acknowledgement when you arrive or leave as they're too busy chatting among themselves. Didn't as much as get a tour of the place when I signed up. It was "here's your key chain" and that was the end of the discussion. Communication is a huge zero when it comes to this place. There's clearly a reason why they are this cheap. This is the dollar store of gyms when it comes to customer service. Impossible to reach anyone by phone. Call corporate head office and the voice message gives you another number to call. You call that other number and it tells you that you need to email them. The email address doesn't work. Sign up if you're fine with dealing with the headaches that will likely be associated with trying to cancel your membership. In the middle of a pandemic they're fighting to charge me despite me being unable to reach anyone to cancel my membership. Last time they'll see a dime of my money I assure you of that.
