This is my favourite pool in the city a few others come close, but this is the best of them. Try to find a time when the kids aren't there and you can relax in the hot tub, steam in the sauna and do your laps.

Wonderful aquatic center. Not huge but very family friendly, with family change rooms, shallow pool area, mini river, hot tubs, and one water slide. Highly recommended!

Have only used the aquatic centre but will definitely be back. Pool and facilities are clean and spacious. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Open until 10pm which works well with my schedule, $2 for late night swim can’t be beat.

I usually love this place, now A days The adult hot tub is not even warm at all. There’s some younger kids. Changing room Is ok. There’s no follow up Cleaning during the day. Floor is a bit dirty. Must wear sleeper. Swimming, Sauna and steam room are good. Good for kids to learn extra curricular activities

Usually decent there. Staff including lifeguards are friendly and kid friendly. They cleaned house of the undesirables and especially a handicap faker who is permanently barred for street drug usage on site particularly in the shower stall and deliberately delaying the lifeguards from getting out on time. Maintenance staff are cool.

Just a to notch facility on the North Shore that has your pool, gym, community center facilities, and there is a lovely coffee shop in the lobby as well if you're waiting to pick up your kids or someone else that is at the pool. great for swimming laps, home to the West Vancouver Otters Swim Club and also home to the Dolphins diving club.

The o-zone water filtration system is the biggest draw to this pool. The ice rink is nice but similar to most others and yet more expensive. The gymnastics drop-ins for children is nice and the instructors are good. The downsides are the expensive rates and all the rules and regulations that have lifeguards or other staff come up to people to tell them they can't do most things. This seems to be primarily out of concern for being sued. Other than this, the facilities are excellent and the lifeguards, instructors, and staff are excellent,

it is an excellent community centre, very friendly crew, very well maintain. but we need a bigger pool, we do not have 50 meter pool in North shore it is a shame for Canada. We have Olympic swimmers more than thousand competitor swimmers and very successful swimming clubs in North Shore. It is a huge mistake not having the 50 meters pool for practise and competition. We have to find a solution for that urgently.

The facility is nice but more than one occasion the washroom shower closed way too early at 8pm while the community center close at 10pm . Why do they close the washroom so early, when swimming pool still opens until 10? It’s really annoying!!

I really loved this pool! We have 3 year olds who aren't very confident in their swimming ability, so the fact there was a whole section dedicated to families was amazing. We loved the family "Hot Tub" to relax in after swimming around for a while. We'll definitely come back.

Mariam the lifeguard was so rude to my son she rudely spoke to him and embarrassed My son by speaking loud in front of everyone and scowled at him saying that the class he was in was wrong and he should get out in front of everyone and my son is only 8 years old and how is my son gonna know he was in the wrong class but it is wrong to shout at him me and my wife are really disappointed in this and this is the second time this has happened to me I don’t know how she keep her job by that attitude and she insulted my wife by saying why do you move your hands when you talk well of course she is gonna move her hands she is upset

Love this pool. Freshwater lap pool is so good to train in, sauna is great although I wish they'd enforce the silence policy in there a bit better as it's not a huge room. Teachers for swimming lessons are really great as well! Highly recommend it.

They consider a family three people, every other city run pool a family rate is for four people. They also rent out the pool to dive clubs and private swim lessons so even when they open the pool for family swim only 1/4 of the pools are usable. Very nice, clean pool but a bit of a cash grab for families.

Great facility! If I have longer workout time hitting the gym and going for a swim followed by sauna or steam is wonderful. Great staff, excellent Physio too! Other times going with kids is also excellent. The kids pool is fairly big and keeps them interested and with the larger pool they can try laps or go diving etc. Kids are 7 and 10 both swimmers. They love it!

I really like this community centre first off since it has a huge variety of camps and other fun things to do. There is also a coffee shop which is always great to hop in to get a snack and eat. There is a great swim team here (West Vancouver Otters Swim Club) which is quite nice as well. Also don't forget how there is a basket ball court, a gymnastics area, a gym and an outdoor basketball court. I really love this place and will always be coming here for a long time.

A great place to make exercise and to take Spanish lessons!. This is a first class recreation center. Their facilities are modern and well maintained. The staff is most of the time great but sometimes you can find an unhappy employee. The place is safe for kids and it has a great outdoor area where kids are playing all the time. The facilities are accesible and, even though the activities are not cheap..they are quite affordable. The Senior Centre is next door and has fantastic staff and great programs. The place is friendly and their staff and instructors are amazing. The Seniors’ building needs to be upgraded as it looks dated and somehow old and dark. I go there because people are the ones who make the place shine. The only PROBLEM is PARKING..as is by far not enough and chaotic to say the least. I usually park nearby to avoid the headache. If you can, park outside. Their cafeteria is good but not great. Is also in need of remodelling and upgrading but their food is actually good. Service can be a hit and miss and has lots of room for improvement.

The swimming pool is nice, however the staff are very unpleasant. Management hired some young kids as a lifeguard. These lifeguards don't pay attention to their duties and they pick on people. Their swimming programs are not well organized. from one level to next their instructors have no clue what is going on. I don't recommend their swimming classes to anyone.

Good gym and pool. Availability of lane swimming for adults can be severely limited at times, although there are often few people there when there is only one lane open so it is still swimable. The changing rooms leave something to be desired.

I like the place with two exceptions. First, the change room is s bit small and crowded and second there is an old woman, aquatic aerobic instructor who during classes, normally in the morning, runs around the pool and screams like being slaughtered. This continues for around 45min. I'm telling you screaming like no other. It disturbs people in swimming, sauna, steam etc. I understand she is passionate about her job, but that's too much. Their swimming classes are bad. No coordination between knowledge taught in same classes, but different teachers. I removed my son from there. Not recommended.

There are a lot of classes running. Check the schedule if you want lane swimming, diving or the wibbit. Kids are not allowed in the main pool for lane swimming. They have to use the kids pool which can get busy.

Most mismanaged facility in the Lower Mainland. The online Lane schedule has not been accurate once in 8 years - a long-standing issue with this facility. Swim clubs routinely hijack the lanes unannounced, leaving the taxpayers of West Vancouver with only one or two lanes overloaded with too many swimmers competing for space.

Good facilities, but lacking of enforcement of mandatory masks, I've been in a couple times and both times, people are working out without a mask on, and the staff just walk by like it's nothing. I don't care what the excuse is, it's mandatory for our safety. Other than that, it's a decent place to exercise. It's not my job to tell people to wear it, but it's yours as a facility that charges as much as you do.
