The staff at Garrick’s trail are great. I have bought a couple of sets of skis , a bike and tons of other gear. They carry quality items and the staff are always very helpful. Plus is dog friendly and huk is the man!

I used to enjoy going into Gericks for certain things. They have resonable prices like for ski mounting but over the years I've noticed their selection and service have gone downhill. Me and a friend went in to get her boots and the boot fitter was an obvious fanboy of a certain brand. Then at the end when she chose the boot and colour, he said they might be able to get it. The brand is a popular one that they are a licensed dealer of. He then informed us it would take 2 months to get that boot 'special ordered'. The boots are already in the mail from a website. Why does it take 2 months to special order a brand that you are a dealer of? Seriously shooting yourselves in the foot with such unenthused service. ( btw if a boot fitter is a fan boy of a certain boot brand dont listen to another word he says ) I hope Gericks does better because right now I'd rather go to Cycology in Castlegar for bike stuff and any shop in Rossland for ski maintenance.

NOT A RELIABE BMX STORE!!! prices on older bmxs are crazy expensive as they don’t mark down the price when newer models come out, and they’re bmx bikes are built to work but not built with quality and longevity in mind. Lots of things needed tightening and under the stem their was a lot of dirt stopping it from sealing. Probably a good mountain bike store though which is the only reason it’s got two starts, but I’d never get my bike serviced here.
