The most welcoming fitness studio in the city. Their spin and yoga classes are great and check out the run crew for a fun time.

You'll get an amazing workout, be lead and trained by one of the top trainers and motivators in the city, and you'll want to come back again and again!

Super friendly, class starts on time and uses my hour for max exercise. Love it.

The energy at Tribe is undeniable! Lovely instructors who will push you to your limits, and classes that actually make you sweat. I really enjoyed all of my time at Tribe. Unfortunately my work schedule makes it difficult to attend their classes, because they are generally early in the morning or later in the evening, but I highly recommend this studio!

The space is cool, lots of fun and a great environment to train and challenge myself. I always look forward to coming to Tribe. There is a bike rack out front, lots of lockers (with built in locks!), water bottle station, showers and change rooms. Signing in is easy and just takes moments. They have towels for use as well, perfect for the spin classes! The spin bikes are my favourite part. They are high tech and easy to use. I feel having more metrics on the bikes helps me track my progress and encourage my every ride. I can also track my HR on the bike to know how hard i'm working. The resistance is also easy to use with its quick 'gears' that add 1.5 turns per position, this makes adding lots of resistance quick easily. Love it. Love it. Love it.

Kelsey Reidl

One of the only gyms in Downtown Toronto that is inclusive, judgement-free and professional. You'll get a great workout (whether you do a virtual or in person class) and be able to show up exactly as you are.

Kalithea Budzinski

Best spin classes in the city! Very inclusive with a wide variety of great work outs. Not just a fitness studio but a welcoming community!

Kardia has a welcoming space to workout and the location at Queens Quay and Spadina is perfect. It sits close to the lake and is also easily accessible via transit. I’ve had monthly membership for a few years now, even throughout the peak of the pandemic, to help support local and ensure this sticks around even after tough times. The studio offers Yoga, HIIT, and Spin classes, plus free runs twice a week. Classes are virtual, online and my personal favourite, outdoors… even in winter!! Heather, the owner of the studio, is all about keeping the community together which is so amazing! Thank you for being here!

A welcoming space for yoga, running and indoor cycling with amenities you'd expect from larger studios (lockers, showers, towels, hair dryers, shoes for indoor cycling and yoga mats) at no extra cost. Class times meet the needs for typical pre and post work hours and the instructors are friendly and supportive in answering any questions.

I’ve been a part of the Tribe Fitness community for a few years now and I absolutely love it! First, the studio is incredibly inclusive - I always feel comfortable in the space. Tribe welcomes all types of people at all fitness levels to come spin, do yoga, or just hang out. Second, the studio is FUN! The instructors are helpful and easy to talk to. The classes are motivating and they often have promotions making them affordable. The studio also offers unique workshops and the music is always on point, making exercising fun. I first joined the Tribe community when I moved to Toronto from Edmonton. Everyone is so great - I’ve met lifelong friends that I get to work out and hang out with all the time. It’s great! I encourage others to give it a shot.

I took the evening rolling class with Heather and I absolutely loved it. A must try if you're active and need to work out some knots and recover faster. The studio was very clean, had lockers, separate showers, changing rooms, and bathrooms. Also, the yoga mats that are there to use if you forget your own are in great condition and great quality!

I took the running program online and loved it. I felt encouraged to challenge myself while also listening to and respecting my limits. I felt that safety was a top priority and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I had my first spin class ever a few weeks ago and now look forward to each upcoming class. Heather is excellent at motivating me to work hard and makes fitness classes fun! The studio is also very well laid out with great equipment.

Great new studio. Heather and the tribe team have put a lot of effort into making this a welcoming studio for all. With a few key amenities, showers towels refillable water station and small items for purchase. The team behind the studio is first rate and amazing they are dedicated to making your first or 20th vist just as good. The online registration is easy and simple.

Valerie

Had 2 classes here and both times they were mediocre.

María Fernández Cachafeiro

I love Tribe - great space (and it is always spotless clean), good classes and awesome community! No matter what the class is, it is always a good and fun workout!

Paolo Piguing

Best spin and yoga classes at the Waterfront!

Lynds Gallant

Tribe is a fantastic fitness studio! Everyone here is super nice, the instructors are wonderful, facilities are really lovely. Heather is super friendly and made me feel really welcome as a new person here. :) I absolutely LOVE that they don't heat any of their yoga/fitness classes so you can build up a sweat from the workout and pushing yourself instead of the environment being artificially heated. It's a total game changer. Started here on the intro pass and will definitely be a lifer!

Amazing location by the waterfront that is easily accessible and convenient, whether travelling via public transit, walking, running, cycling or driving. A fitness studio that embodies yoga, cycle and run with many classes to fit everyone's busy schedule, plus the rates are very reasonable. Studio rooms are beautifully kept and so zen with lots of natural lighting coming in through the many large windows, it definitely makes you forget about work or stress or whatever you have going on in your life. The energy of the studio is absolutely positive with great vibes from the staff and instructors. Definitely a welcome addition to the neighbourhood.

Courtney Lundrigan

I've run with Tribe since 2014, and even though I don't live near the neighbourhood anymore, it's worth the trip for me to practice yoga and spin. Since the studio opened, I have discovered restorative yoga and resumed my regular yoga practice after a very long hiatus, and Christine has been the most amazing instructor and made returning to yoga a lot more enjoyable than I thought it would be. The studio has everything you need (showers, towels, friendly staff, change rooms, lockers that don't require you to bring your own lock, and gender-neutral washrooms), and is truly such a welcoming space.

Dorothy Z

Beautiful new studio and welcome addition to the neighbourhood. Friendly staff and instructors make it an enjoyable experience. Yoga, spin and run classes all in one place!

Love my Tribe. Such an amazing space so close to my heart. Thank you everyone who has come to sweat and made us your second home - I think possibly your first home for some of you. An honour to train you and sweat alongside you. You are my Tribe.

Amy Dennis

Tribe's "come as you are" philosophy is a refreshing contrast to many of the fitness boutiques popping up around the city. The instructors take a genuine interest in you, and they really know their stuff! Plus, the non-pretentious atmosphere helps you focus 100% on your workout, with more sweat and less fuss!

Barbara Yang

Love the classes and the community! Heather is the best and the classes make you feel so good after!

Nile Séguin

Alyssa

I've run with Tribe in the past and now regularly spin twice a week at the studio. Easy to sign up online, check in, lockers not requiring your own lock and towels provided. I love the format of the classes, the instructor draws out the format of the class so you know what to expect. I always get a great sweat! The space is clean, welcoming and easily accessible via street car or the bike path.

Barry Moses

If you're traveling from out of town, and need a clean, friendly, efficiently priced and conveniently located spin studio in downtown Toronto, this is it. Enjoyed the class, the bikes, and the instructor. Great job.

Amber Renton

Loving Tribe! I look forward to my time practicing in their bright beautiful space down by the waterfront. I feel comfortable here as everyone is welcome to any class regardless of skill level. I take their yoga and spin classes and really like how the instructors take the time to see what their clients needs are class by class. They have everything you need from mat's to showers, towels... you can just show up and be ready to get your sweat on! Highly recommend joining the Tribe!

Damara Nickerson

I've tried a few Cycle45 and Cycle Core classes. The instructors are enthusiastic and I worked up a good sweat each time. The Cycle Core ends with mat work in the yoga room, which is nice. The windows are huge and let in so much natural light.

Allison MacLachlan

Great space with a variety of classes. Love the 50-minute lunchtime yoga!

KARDIA is the most inclusive fitness community that has done an amazing job pivoting during COVID. I loved their classes pre-COVID but am even more impressed at the perseverance and imagination of Heather & team during these times. From virtual running programs, to renting out bikes, to tons of virtual yoga, HIIT & meditation classes, they do it all! Highly recommend if you are looking for a fun and encouraging way to get moving!

Jessy Wang

Incredible studio. Love the variety of classes provided under one roof: spin, HIIT, yoga (flow and restorative), run crew, meditation, and more. The unlimited monthly membership is great value for money! Heather and all of the instructors are friendly, motivating, and give clear instruction. The studio provides mats, towels and lockers free of charge. Very welcoming and inclusive of people of all backgrounds and at all fitness levels (and classes for moms to bring their babies!) which is not always the case in downtown Toronto! Studio owner Heather is a former P.E. teacher and it shows -- she is an amazing instructor and Tribe always has creative classes going on: spin class while watching movies (with popcorn), bring your dog to yoga, March Madness challenge, goal-setting workshops, and check out free Yoga at the Bentway during the summer :)

Chelle Schuster

Lovely place with instructors that respect your level of fitness rather than trying to get you to do things that cause injury (are you listening goodlife?!). Class sizes are small so you are not in a sea of sweaty bodies accidently touching each other. Yoga is at various styles and levels. Spin classes are hilarious with Heather and are motivated through encouragement rather than completion. Good vibe to the place and spiffy electronic lockers and filtered water dispenser. A must to check out!

Laura Montgomery

Heather is an awesome energetic instructor and the whole tribe community is very welcoming!

Love this studio and it's welcoming vibe. I thought it was great I could actual clip-in shoes during my spin class, which I had never used before. Great, energizing Spin/Core session with Darielle. Clean, bright and friendly!

Maggie

Challenging workout that can be “dialed up or down” depending on your fitness level combined with top notch instructors and a super friendly inclusive community that makes all levels feel welcome

Neeraj Monga

I've been a member of Tribe (before being branded under Kardia) in 2019 The instructors are friendly and helpful. Heather is super fun in small conversations despite being super busy

Michaela Kraft

Great fitness spot at the Harbourfront. Awesome combination of cycling, yoga, roll out with tune-up balls and even free running classes. They have lockers, showers, and provide towels. The team is super welcoming and loves to take care of their tribe. Definitely a great place to get a sweaty workout in or some good stretches, whatever you feel like doing.

Shamli Pal

One of the most fun and innovative workout studios in Downtown Toronto, it is also one of the very few places that offer cycling and yoga at the same place. Their unlimited offers let you enjoy any type of workout (cycling or yoga), which is a great deal for most people who are unsure of which workout works best for them. I look forward to my workouts at Tribe because no two sessions are ever alike. Highly recommend this place for its uniqueness and friendly environment that keeps you motivated.

Alex Harder

Tribe is the best. I started coming here when I first moved to Toronto a few months ago and I am so grateful for the community and the motivation to sweat that Tribe has given me! Heather always makes an effort to learn everybody's name, making you feel so welcome right away. They have spin shoes and yoga mats to borrow so you don't need to carry your equipment around with you all day if you're going to work after a morning class. There is great variety in the classes offered regularly, and lots of fun events and challenges to keep things exciting!

Marilynne Madigan

What a welcome addition to our community! The yoga experience is one of the best! Ambiance of studio creates the perfect environment for a mindful powerful practice. The team and yoga teachers are energized and clearly Love What They Do. The schedule has great choices for all yogis and fits our busy lives perfectly!

Chantel Barry

Great cycling, HITT, and yoga classes with engaging and fun instructors. Before joining Tribe I had tried a few cycling classes at other studios, but hadn't really enjoyed them. That definitely changed after my first Cycle45 with Tribe, and now I can't get enough! The environment is always so welcoming, and the owner, Heather, is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and motivating. Not to mention .. the music is always spot on. Definitely check out Tribe! It's an awesome studio, and an equally great community!

Jocelyn Healey

Tribe Fitness has officially become my second home! Heather and her tribe are a welcoming, enthusiastic and energetic bunch. I met Heather in the summer of 2017 when she was teaching yoga classes at Canoe Landing and once I learned that she was opening a new studio, I was thrilled! Since the studio opened in mid-November, I have been fortunate to participate in almost all of the classes and have met almost all of the instructors. At Tribe there is a variety of classes – one is bound to fit in your schedule – which are taught by great instructors. Jaclyn’s morning yoga classes are fantastic. April has a calming yet powerful presence in her yoga classes. Jess and Allison’s spin classes explode with energy and not to mention have great playlists! And of course, Heather teaches every single one of her classes whether it is spin, yoga or roll-out with a smile on her face and encourages everyone to push their limits! Try a class, I know you won’t regret it.

Faiyyad Hosein

Easily the best located studio for fitness in Toronto. Right on the waterfront, you can do spin/cycling or Yoga outdoor and literally look out at the Toronto waterfront when classes are held outside. Its a beautiful experience sitting outside and looking over at the water. Kardia has an excellent offering of FIIT, yoga, cycling and an excellent instructor through Heather. I really enjoy the classes and the people are friendly giving you a nice social experience as well. They do a free bi-weekly run, 5km on Wednesday and 10km on Saturday morning which Mark or Heather lead. Before i started running with Kardia, i used to do 2.5km continuously, now I am up to 10km continuous. Thank you so much for your motivation for fitness and health, Heather and Mark and for creating a great community!

Brad Horning

I originally started taking Spin classes with Heather because our gym was closed and I needed to exercise. That was six months ago. My partner and I now attend the classes five days a week not just for the health benefit but because of Heather's welcoming atmosphere. The Spin classes are what we enjoy, but Kardia offers so much more, from yoga (with puppies!) to FIIT and outdoor runs. You will not be disappointed.

Katie Cussen

Tribe offers the best mix of classes; spinning, HIIT, yoga and a free run club. Some of the classes are a combo of the exercises offered which gives people the opportunity to get a complete workout: cardio, strength training and stretching. The instructors are very motivational and aim to get the best effort out of everyone. Performance metrics on the spin bikes enable you to track towards goals. The studio is very welcoming and has a laid back vibe. They are often doing different fun events (free yoga in the park in summer and participate in St. Patrick’s day beer races etc.).
