I'm very pleased to be part of the community gardens group at the centre????~our large plots are well protected from the deer, rabbits etc. with a tall fence and gate~there are also Covid-19 precautions in place in the garden area~at this time with Covid-19 the Cafe only only offering take out menu your lunches~Chinese, Italian, perogies etc~the service and the homemade meals are absolutely delicious~ the centre has all the required Covid-19 safety measures in place~masks, directional arrows, social distancing, limited persons, dividers, hand sanitizers etc~well worth a try and supporting our senior's community????

My first time there! A friend of mine was having her retirement get together in the afternoon. The room comfortably held about 50 people. Comfortable chairs. Room was well lit with lighting and windows. I liked what I saw. I want to find out more about it myself.

I ordered the Chinese food dinner and it was terrible. Boiled rice with hard chalky peas, the egg and spring rolls, the two tiny chicken balls were probably sourced from a grocery store, and the noodles came out of a can. It did not resemble or taste like Chinese food. There was some mystery meat that was tough as leather and tasteless. The food was old and inedible and had to throw it out. I emailed 55 plus on the matter and nobody has yet to respond. I hope this is only a one off.

Line dancing on Mondays is just plain fun. The increased mental and physical fitness is a bonus,of course! Bill and I enjoy the instruction geared to the abilities of the women and men who love dancing to country music with a beat. One lesson costs $2 whenever you attend.

Loved my 'to go' order on St. Patrick's day. The Irish stew was good. The soda bread was huge and yummy. The mushy peas were a pleasant surprise. Decorated and iced sugar cookies for dessert--thank you ladies!
